Christmas Eve Fun!

Ho, Ho, Ho, Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

The ferrets have got an early Christmas Present! OTL has used one of the cardboard boxes to build a maze, inside the box, by using the cardboard tubes he has gathered over the months. He has cut three holes in the side and mounted the tubes inside so the ferrets can explore the inside of the box and tubes, just like a rabbit warren!

They had a terrific game diving in and out and chasing each other around all over the place!

Come out, come out, where ever you are!
Mr Brambles was in a good mood and chased Snowflake all through the new Playground. I can see that is going to be a big hit with both of them!

A Playground Pyramid!
Old Two Legs stayed in bed a bit longer today, you know, he hasn't been on his paddling machine since Friday! We reckon that his is going to be terribly out of condition by the time he gets back on it again!

Overnight it had been blowing and raining and of course us being low down and near the coast are at risk of flooding. This morning when we went out for our morning stroll, our village was surrounded by flooded roads!

It was a good job that OTL took the big car 'cos we came across some mighty big puddles!

Puddle Number One!

A bit further on we came to an even bigger puddle that looks like it had flooded the car stuck in the middle!

Stuck!
It was a good job OTL brought the big car, especially when ahead of us we saw a tree, in the middle of the road!

A Tree Crossing?
Down on the beach it was wet and windy, so, we didn't hang about too much and Mr Brambles got into his position in the hood of OTL's coat. He was laughing and called down to us that with his hood up, OTL really did look like Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Me and Obi-Wan Kenobi
Mind you, Snowflake stayed tucked up in her 'Pocket' until it was time for a run on the beach!

On the way back to the car, Mr B was full of it and enjoyed chasing Holly and me, trying to nip our back legs. Sometimes he gets close so we are always keeping our eyes on his movements!

Nearly Gotcha!
Back home, Mr Brambles tried to play OTL's banjo he has hanging on the wall and managed to split one of his claws. So that prompted OTL to give Mr Brambles a claw clipping!

To stop him from wriggling, (Mr B not OTL) the bottle of Ferretone is placed on Mr B's tummy and the lid opened up. Mr Brambles is so busy trying to lick the Ferretone off the lid that he doesn't notice OTL doing the clipping.

Sneaky or wot!

A Lid Licking Ferret!
After clearing up the Playground we all crashed out and even OTL fell asleep in the office!

Lunchtime came and we looked out of the window, it was overcast but OTL reckons we should take a chance so off we went!

We got down to the car park and jumped out and dashed for the long grass!

I reckon we should make it a quick wee!
As we headed further along the path it started, the rain, it came down in buckets! We raced back to the car and sat there watching the rain. OTL did suggest we could wait a bit longer and go out again but we decided we would make use of the back garden if we got desperate!

Has it stopped yet?
Back home we both got a good rub down and OTL gave us a brush to get all the grass bits out of our coats!

When we went up stairs we found that the ferrets had been busy! There were a pair of OTL's old socks hung up outside their cage.

Dear Father Christmas!
Mr Brambles said that Snowflake and he were going to write a note for Father Christmas a bit later tonight, after they had their afternoon snooze!

So, we are off to see if there are any muggins to be had. See you all tomorrow!

A Merry Christmas to all You Woofers

May you have a Super Day Tomorrow

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake & Mr Brambles!
