Soaking Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here and welcome to the weekend!

Old Two Legs wasn't too happy when he got up today, first off it was raining and second, he had promised himself to do some more scrapping paint off the wall in the front porch, a job that he has hated ever since he started it, ages ago!

We didn't care, we can sleep while he works any day!

Down on the beach Snowflake and Mr Brambles got a stroke from a dog owner who was playing on the beach with his enormous Cross Labrador. Not that they wanted a stroke, they wanted to have a game on the sand. Mr Brambles asked if he could have a nibble at his hand but OTL said that would not be very polite and he should keep his teeth out of sight!

Lucky for him, Max and Oscar came along and they all decided to clear off and leave the beach to us!

That's it, Woof Off!
Almost immediately Mr Brambles went back to 'Trenching' as he calls it and sand and shells flew all over the place!

Mr Brambles, 'Trenching'!
Of course, as soon as Miss Snowflakes paws hit the ground she rushed towards OTL looking to be picked up and given a 'Warming Cuddle'!

Go On, Gissa Cuddle?
OTL said that she had to run back to the car so she could get some exercise. Snowflake said she would rather have a bash on his paddling machine! Can you just picture it? Miss Snowflake on a 'Rowing Machine'!

We don't think so!

When we got back OTL cooked up our chicken, just how we like it and served it up all hot and juicy.

Holly and I were 'Nose Down and Tail Up until it was finished!

Then, off to bed while OTL gets out his tools and goes back to scraping the walls!

Lunchtime we were awoken by the rain pounding on the window and the wind having a good blow. We couldn't put on our rain coats 'cos they got very wet this morning from running through the puddles so we had to sit in the car and wait until the storm passed.

It's Still Raining!
It wasn't too long before the storm passed and we were out chasing rabbits, well, we would have if they had come out of their warrens but I suppose it was just too wet for them!

OTL spotted a rainbow and just had to try to capture the Infrared part of the rainbow but it was too far away to really spot the colours. Maybe we will see the colours when the rainbow is closer, claws crossed!

Infrared Rainbow!
OTL really has got this Infrared bug, he saw that the moon was visible and took this shot. We didn't like to mention it but unless you knew it was the moon, it could have been a sea gull passing overhead!

Is it a Bird, Is it a Plane, No, it's The Moon!
Back home to a snooze before The Missus gets back from her 'Master Class', she's doing another one tomorrow, so we expect OTL will be back scraping the wall again, unless the sun comes out and that will be a good excuse to go for long walks!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

  1. You lucky girls, OTL cooking your chicken and serving it just the way you like. Shame about the weather today, another rotten one. Still at least all of you got down to the beach this morning. Good job the storm passed so you could stretch your legs lunchtime. I bet TM had fun at her master class today.
Right Miss Daisy, I need to ask for your opinion, seeing as you know all things 4 legs, I bet Holly will help if you get stuck or even Miss S or Mr B may have an opinion: Young Archie walks all over my body and face during the night, I often wake up with either a paw in my ear or a wet nose jabbed into my eye and he is often laying on my head like a furry Russian hat. Now what I need to know is, is this normal doggie behaviour, is he guarding me or telling me that a kingsize bed is not big enough for the 2 of us or is he a bite short of a Bonio? I'm pretty sure you lot will be able to help me out with this because I know how wise you all are. Have a good evening, love to you all from me and little Archie xxxx

  2. Is that TWO moons I can see or is it really a seagull. Shame about the wet and I see Miss Snowflake has the right idea. Tell OTL to get on with the scraping. I want to go for long walks but the rain wont let me. XXX

  3. I hope your coats are dry for tomorrow but then the sun will shine its head off and you will be able to sunbathe on the beach. Mr B is really getting good at these trenches and I am pleased that he didn't show himself up and bring out those teeth. Have you brought the boat back yet or do you need to do some work on the front garden first, with OTL scrapping the walls I suppose he is too busy. Wow, chicken cooked the OTL way, that's brilliant and with TM out tomorrow as well that's a double wow, warm and juicy with perhaps some gravy, that's how you like it. The rainbow looked good, you could see the colours, not too sure about the bird/plane/moon, back to the drawing board on that one. xxxx
