OTL's Still Sneezing and keeping us awake!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We have been a busy dog today. First there was our morning stroll and Holly spots a rabbit on the path and tries the old Creepy Creepy Tactic but  only manages to get as close as fifteen feet away before the rabbit does the 'I'm Gone' and vanishes into the bushes!

A Rabbit about to Disappear!
She does try though!

Down on the beach we had a race and just for once, I let her win!

Mind you, the way she kept on going on about winning I think next time I shall run circles around her and still come home first!

Holly Wins, Holly Wins, Holly Wins, Holly Wins, Holly Wins!
The ferrets were splashing about in the rock pools and 'Ferreting About' in the sea weed.

Mr Brambles said it was 'Just Like Scotland'!

Does this remind you of somewhere?
It could be Scotland but there are no mountains and the ground is muddier!

It's a bit muddy!
Miss Snowflake found a waste water pipe outlet and shouted 'Helloooooo' and was surprised to hear an echo!

WhooSatSayingHellooooooo?
When he heard the Helloooooo, Mr Brambles ran up the steps thinking it was a Nargle or a Monster up the pipe!

Let's get the Ferret out of here!
Back home we got chicken and biscuits and the ferrets got Kibble and a Malt Biscuit.

They also got a change of bedding, so, Mr Brambles was the first to stretch out on the cushion and have a snooze!

Lunchtime we had a look out of the window and although it wasn't raining, it did look a bit dull!

Old Two Legs was still sneezing his head off, keeping everyone awake, I mean, we didn't get our full mornings snoozing and you know what we are like if we don't get our snoozies!

The ferrets are terrible and show off good and proper if their sleep is disturbed!

OTL had a 'Result' on our midday march along the sea wall. He spotted the first soldier beetle on a thistle this year. They are normally ground dwelling but get up on top of the thistles to mate and generally have a good time!

Am I Too Early?
The tide was out, so I didn't get my swim but we did meet a new doggy!

We were on our way back when Lady came bounding over the hill and made a bee line for OTL to get her tummy tickled!

Behind her was a young Boarder Terrier who was new to us all. He stood back a bit, then came for a sniff and we returned the complement. He seemed a well behaved woofer and we allowed him a run around without telling him off!

Hello, my name is Oscar!
OTL gave him a stroke and a tickle as he passed in front of OTL but he wasn't too sure about being stroked too much!

Of course, Lady was there, tucked into OTL's legs enjoying a Tummy Tickle and also getting her ears rubbed as well!

Wot a Tart!

It seems that Oscar is about two years old and made the mistake of snapping at one of the children in his old home, so he was shipped off to the 'Rescue Centre' in Suffolk where he was seen by his present owner.

He has only been with his new home for about six days, so he is getting used to a big change!

He is allowed off the lead and comes when called, ('cos there is a treat when he does!) and he gets on very well with Lady.

After some more running and sniffing and treats he finally decided that OTL wasn't a threat or anything like that and allowed a tickle behind his ear!

I think I like OTL after all!
We will be seeing loads more of Oscar, so keep your eyes open, we could have some fun in the future!

OK, I'm off to see what OTL has for dinner, something tasty I hope!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
