OTL and a White Out!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It's just not the same when The Missus takes us out. Like this morning, we jumped from the car and ran onto the grass to have a sniff when, there, in the corner of my ey, I saw, RABBITS!

Now we haven't seen them for a while, so it was good to know they were all OK. I set off at Mach 8 and a little bit more, heading for the furthermost rabbits. Holly was right on my tail and keeping up with me.

We went past a few rabbits who were just finishing off their breakfast and said 'Good Morning' to us as we came steaming through!

Of course, they disappeared back into the bushes and down their warren before we arrived, but it was good fun.

Now, normally Old Two Legs would have joined in the chase but TM just stood there calling us back!

I mean, does she really think we are going to take any notice?

We have heard from OTL, it seems that it was snowing while he had breakfast and later brightened up a bit as he went through Oban in search of 'inspiration', he didn't get much there, so, back he came and visited a park the call The Lochan, OTL has sent a couple of pictures, then, as the sun came out he dashed back up into Glenco and onto Rannoch Moor again to grab some more pictures, then, quick as a flash, he was off to the Ski Lift to grab a couple more.

That's when the trouble started.

It seems the snow was chasing him up the glen 'cos just as he got into the car park, a blizzard descended and he couldn't see any further than ten metres in front of him!

He called it a White Out which means that all he could see was, white!

That was it, the end of his day!

He very carefully crawled back down the glen, bouncing off the drifts of snow and arrived back at the B&B where he got a big welcome from Hamish and Daisy.

Licky Noses all around!

I don't mind them looking after OTL for us while he is up there but we need him back down here!

Let's face it, we haven't even given him a Happy Birthday Lick yet!

Here are some of the photos from today.

There's a Storm coming in!

........and it's getting closer!
Well, that's it, it all looks terribly exciting but we will be glad when he gets south of the Thames tomorrow!

Happy Birthday OTL and see you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  1. Hahahahahahahaha, I can just imagine TM standing there, calling you and Holly and the pair of you cocking a deaf un at her. I hope you looked suitably ashamed of yourselves when you did finally return. I expect that you taking off at mach speed is the reason there were no photographs from TM ....... the shutter just couldn't keep up. Now, OTL's pictures are just beautiful, I would find it so hard to pick a favourite but I did like that cheeky Robin looking for crumbs. Sorry to hear that OTL had to return back to the b&b because of the weather but better to be safe and warm. It's good of Hamish and Daisy to take care of him. Hope OTL has a very safe journey back tomorrow and we all wish him a very happy birthday ........... can you hear little Arch singing at the top of his voice? Hope TM gave you some good scoff today, even though you ran off after the rabbits, but then a woofer has to do what a woofer has to do. Just think, only one more night of sharing OTL's pillow between you and Holly and then he'll be claiming it back himself, mind I expect he only gets a small share of it anyways. Be good for TM tonight and she might even give you a snackette before bed. Enjoy your snoozes, make the most of the bed space and be good tomorrow at the workshop, play nicely with the ladies and their glitter and glue. Then keep your eyes firmly on the front window and wait patiently for OTL then ...................... POUNCE. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx

  2. Well done Kendo, some superb shots, sorry Daisy I could not contain myself.
Shame about the rabbits Daisy still one day you will get an old slow rabbit then you will get told off for catching it. Don't you think OTL has done well, don't tell him but I got a Robin in Capstone park on Sunday last and only had to drive 2 miles.
Enjoy yourself with TM, she ain't to bad really. xxxx

  4. Great news the rabbits are venturing out, OTL will be so excited when you show him exactly where you saw them. TM seems to be doing her stuff although no pictures is a bit of a let down still OTL has done you proud by sending such wonderful pictures. I do hate the snow because I am too frightened to go out in it but the pictures were really good, looking forward to seeing some more. Hope OTL is happy with his adventure and can come home tomorrow to celebrate his birthday with some lovely surprises from you all. Will you make him a card at the workshop that would be a great surprise. xxxx
