New Ferrets got names!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Well, we have been busy little woofers today, rushing about helping Old Two Legs do his 'Manufacturing' and then out to deliver it all!

We started off on the beach having some fun with sniffs.

The ferrets had wandered up the beach and were investigating some dried sea weed which Brambles loves to rub on his tummy and help tone up his skin.

Holly and I began by sniffing the wet sea weed and around the rock pools. Holly says she found traces of 'Slimy Monsters' and I found traces of ferret poo!

Well it sniffs like ferret poo to me!
Holly wanted to play a trick on Bro Brambles 'cos he makes her call him Bro!'

Holly started off by pretending to 'Guard' Brambles Wee'ing Rocks. Then, after Brambles had gone after the dry sea weed she came up with a rather naughty trick!

Yep! I'll guard your rocks Bro!
Then, while Bro Brambles was busy, Holly says to me, 'OK, dig a big hole next to the rock'

Holly's idea was to bury the rock so that Brambles would think that a 'Slimy Monster' had pinched it!

OK, dig it deep while he's not looking!
Brambles was keeping his eye on Holly and wasn't fooled by her trick!

Back home we had a message from the Ferret Rescue Centre to say we should bring Brambles and Snowflake down to meet the new ferrets on Friday, so OTL has to make arrangements on Friday morning.

We also have found out their names and ages.

They are two years old and are called Miss April and Miss May!

Now, I don't know about you but OTL says that Miss April and Miss May sounds like a couple of Page Three Pullouts!

We, of course, have no idea what he is talking about but we are all getting excited about meeting them for the first time!

So, more news tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  1. What a very helpful pair of woofers you are, I bet OTL loves it when you help him out with his work. I hope you get extra treats for the hard work. Poor little Bro, Holly does like to tease him, I think she likes him more than she lets on. Did she make you do all the work digging? Good job Bro had his eye on the goings on or he would be worried where his rock went to. What an exciting message you had, I like the names, specially Miss April, my boy has a girlfriend called Miss April. My mum says she knows what OTL means about the page 3 names but she won't tell me because she says I'm too young to know about such things. I hope the meeting goes well, claws crossed, then you'll probably have 2 new little sisters to guard and play with. I had good muggings on my walk this morning, me and my mum met up with a lady we know, she's called Sonia. Sonia always carries a bag of doggie treats because she likes dogs but she can't have one herself. Anyways, Sonia asked my mum if I could have a treat and my mum said yes ............ woweee Sonia gave me the biggest treat in her bag. Tomorrow should be good as well because my friend Brenda will be working in the sweet shop so I'll be sure to call in and give her a good licking, that way I'm sure to get another treat. Have a lovely evening girlies, hope the muggings are good and I'm looking forward to hearing how it all goes tomorrow. Love, licks and wags from little (full up) Arch xxxx

  4. Things are hotting up for the new "sisters", definitely need new names because if they had been called Holly and Daisy you couldn't leave them and ferrets (as far as I know) don't come to a call like cats and dogs. Fun on the beach, so lovely to see some nice weather and all those rock pools. xxxx
