Sun and then the rain!

Hi Woofers!

It's us, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles, Miss April and Miss May here again!

Well, wot a mix up day, it was super sunny when we went out this morning but when it came time to do the lunchtime walk, down came the rain!

Our morning run was OK, Miss Snowflake even had a little dig in the sand before climbing over the sea weed for her morning wee!

Over there looks good!
Holly was mooching around on the beach when Old Two Legs told her that there was a woofer coming along the Sea Wall, it was Butch!

Now we all know that Holly fancies him rotten and always dances around him like a Big Tart!

Yo! Butch Baby!
Today he stopped jumping around and said, 'Why do you call me Butch?' then he added, 'My Name is Bert!'

Holly said sorry for calling him by the wrong name and then went on Tarting about!

The name is Bert, short for Albert!
It was then that the ferrets and I wandered past him, but on the beach, and he looked over at the ferrets and asked if they were Holly's sisters!

Are those your sisters?

Holly had to admit they were but added, 'the brown one is my brother'

It was a good job Brambles didn't hear that or he would have got her to repeat it all the way home!

We looked at Michael's blog and saw he attended a show and met up with the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue who were doing some 'Ferret Racing' at the show! Have a look at Micheal's day out http://michaelgoodes.blogspot.co.uk/

OTL was watching the F1 Racing but for a change, he watched most of the race 'cos the rain was coming down and Holly and I decided that even with rain coats, we didn't fancy going out just yet!

So, just before the race finished, we decided that it was time to go out and OTL, the Page Three Girls, Holly and me went to the field behind the houses and had a run around. Well the ferrets ran and Holly and I chased a cat over a fence and OTL tried to keep order!

We are going to have a party tonight, so OTL is getting the Shortbread out and Holly and I have our 'Biscuit Bones', (which make loads of crumbs!)

We plan to put a couple of Bob Dylan CD's on and some Dog Music, (Howling Wolf) with a bit of luck we may stay up all night!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles, Miss April and Miss May

  1. We've had the same weather as you today. It was lovely first thing when my mum got home from work so we went for a good old mooch round. That Bert chap looks alright, but are you sure Holly really fancies him? I thought I was in with a chance. Good to hear that Holly has publicly admitted to being related to Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles, I bet he's pleased. I bet that seaweed was full of interesting sniffs. Shame about the rain. Was the field full of good sniffs? I bet that cat got a shock. Sounds like it's going to be a good night at yours, make sure you don't leave too many crumbs or those ferrets will be pinching them tomorrow. My mum showed me the pictures on Michael's blog, I like the look of that ferret racing. Have a good night and enjoy your party, hope your TM doesn't get wind of it or she might phone up and put a damper on your plans. Loved all the pictures today. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxxxxxx

  2. I hope you enjoyed your party and didn't keep the neighbours up those Biscuit Bones sound good just watch out that the little ones don't beat you to it and eat them all up. Not sure about a dog called Bert, Albert I suppose sounds better, he does look friendly if a bit puzzled by your little sister and brother. Did you like the idea of June and July, we had a giggle. Michael said thanks for mentioning his Blog today, he is following it up more happenings at the Tractorfest including "a duck on springs" at some time. We had a good time and glad that we went when the forecast was dry, you are getting very wise to watch TV in the rain and go out when it stops. TM sounds as though she is enjoying herself and I bet is pleased that Lewis won, hope OTL doesn't have a headache tomorrow, have fun. Lots of xxxxxx
