Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Miss April and Miss May back again!
What a Yuck day it's been, weather wise anyway!
We knew we were in trouble when Old Two Legs insisted we wear our rain coats this morning!
You know he even had to put us on our leads when we got out of the car 'cos we sort of stopped and didn't want to go any further and really wanted to get back into the warm car!
Miss Snowflake agreed with us but she snuggled deep down into OTL's coat and stuck her nose out and left the tip of her tail showing as well!
When we got let off the lead, what did we get?
WET!

Well, she got a carry off the beach but it was back to joging back to the car for her as soon as we hit the grass path!
It was a good try anyway!

Lunchtime it was still raining!
We got put on the lead again and this time it was April and May who were digging into OTL's coat looking for a dry spot!
Still, they didn't have to go scampering all over the beach, you see it was raining a little harder and OTL's camera is a bit old and it wasn't handling the high ISO setting (technical bit!) so everything was looking blurred!
Mind you, both May and April were happy to get a bit of fresh air on their noses even if it meant getting a little damp!

OTL spent the afternoon working while us Woofers enjoyed a warm bed and a long snooze!
Now, tomorrow, OTL tells us, is a 'Special Day'! Now we are not sure what he is going on about but he says we will like it. So, that means sunshine a food and walkies, well what else is there!

Oh Daisy, I agree with you, what a yuck day it's been with the rain. I don't blame you for not wanting to get out of the car, I didn't want to go over the doorstep either. That Snowflake is so lucky getting carried in OTL's coat. I think you need to tell him that it would be fairer if you all had a turn inside the coat. I bet the page 3 girls weren't too impressed with the rain either. I can see you were all in a hurry to get back to the car. Happy muggings tonight girls, stay nice and warm and dry. Now tomorrow sounds very mysterious ........... hmmmmmmm I wonder if there will be songs sung tomorrow. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteOh I agree it has been a yucky day and to think that last Wednesday Michael went to Sheffield Park with his Photography Group Pals and although it did rain a bit it was luckily nothing like today. Those ferrets have got it made being carried inside nice warm bags and coats whilst you two have to suffer the wet and damp! Tomorrow sounds very exciting, can't be a visit to the Poodle Parlour as you have already been there, maybe somebody very special who you haven't seen for ages and ages is coming to visit, maybe it's those long awaited carrying bags! I shall have to keep looking tomorrow for when you post although if you are so busy with the surprise it will be late before you get around to it. I know, maybe it will be one of those I-Paws that I suggested, how exciting. xxxxx
