May and April get promoted to Honorary Woofer Status!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Another Super Sunday, even if it did rain today!

After yesterdays fun and games, it was good to have an extra half an hour snooze before getting up to go for our walk!

Today April came along as well but stayed tucked up in the ferret bag for most of the walk. She said that she had 'done her stuff' on the carpet before leaving home, so just fresh air today please and don't bounce the bag as you walk!

OTL has got some clearing up when he gets back!

One thing we did notice, blossom!

It's not even February yet and there it is blooming all over the place!

Spring is Blooming out already!
Old Two Legs had ordered some more bedding for the ferrets and of course, we have all tried it out and little Wendy has been chasing Freddy from one bed to another! It seems she just can't decide on which bed to call her own, so she has decided that they all belong to her!

Enjoying a snooze in a quiet moment!
Now, Holly and I have been in a 'meeting' today and we have decided that both Miss May and Miss April are to get promoted to the position of 'Honorary Woofer First Class with Sniffs'!

Although Miss April is not as active outside as normal, she has shown all the attributes of developing into a Woofer who specialises in 'Subtle Sniffs'!

Miss May is the Woofer equivalent of a Boarder Terrier with a Tenacious Attitude!

We have instructed them in all the 'Secret Signs' and now they can talk to other woofers by leaving special signs in the grass!

We also had a visitor today, The Cat Woman, she has come over to play 'Glue Slapping' with The Missus.

Holly and I decided that it would be prudent to keep out of their way 'cos we don't want to end up with glue all over our tails!

Lunchtime we managed to stop OTL from pounding away on the computer and take us out for a walk.

Freddy and Wendy were snoring their tails off  and we decided to let them carry on instead of waking them from a super ferret slumber!

We enjoyed going down to a part of the Sea Wall we normally miss with the ferrets. Holly and I had a great time catching on the sniffs!

Just a sniff!
We didn't hang about too much 'cos the sky looked like it had some rain up in the cloud and was getting ready to dump in down on us!

Gloomy or wot?
Back home it was Doggy Scoff so I went on the hunt for any Ferret Stash I could find. There was some in the office and TM's store room and behind the curtains down in the lounge and behind the Butchers Block!

It's just a case of using your nose and knowing where to look!

Mind you, if I'm in luck OTL may have some dinner I can mug!

See you tomorrow and we should have some news on April and the vet!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening girls, honorary woofers, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy De Ferret. How lucky you were to get a lay in, now I was up at the crack of dawn, checking to see if you'd managed to blog, I was happy to see you had, then my mum went to work and I settled down to a one eyed snooze and a one eyed guard. I went off for a walk in the rain when my mum got home and we ended up at the shop she works in, we even ended up serving customers, now one of them customers brings his big woofer called Boris, my mum held me up over the counter and everyone said I was Boris' mini-me .... wot a cheek, he's my maxi-me!!!! It's good to hear that Miss April got her breath of fresh air out in the bag, I bet she was snuggly and enjoyed peeping out. I hope Miss Wendy is letting Freddy have a bed to snooze in, after all it was his house first. I bet you enjoyed your walk with extra sniffs this afternoon. Loved all the pictures. That makes a change, you and Holly finding ferret stash, usually it's them stashing your stuff. Did Mrs TM and the cat woman have a good time, I think you were very wise to stay out of their way, I've heard my mum saying about how they like splashing the glue and glitter all over. I hope OTL does give you a bit of a taste of his dinner. All is crossed here for Miss April tomorrow, my boy and my mum have everything crossed as well. Have a good evening all, love, licks, wags, sniffs and crossed paws from little (mini-me) Arch and Mr (pitball) Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. You have had quite a leisurely Sunday, glad Miss April got out for a bit of air, we had things to do in Chatham so that is where we spent part of the afternoon. Rainy, cloudy sort of day, not no for walking about and Michael has so many pictures that he hasn't been able to really investigate them so he doesn't really want any more. Hope you get some good nibbles tonight, perhaps chicken or steak or bread and dripping. You are too young to know about dripping and I don't think you would like it, worse than doggy scoff. Good wishes for Miss April on Monday, maybe TM will do a little report as we are all waiting. xxxxxx

  3. Congratulations to Miss May and Miss April on their appointment of honorary woofers. I think you and Holly made a good decision. It looks like you've all had a much more positive day today, even Miss April managed some fresh air and you got a good search for hidden ferret treats. We've had a relaxing day in front of the fire...Yes it was raining again and we needed drying off. Love, wags, woofs and licks from Izzy and Hamish xx xx xx xx
