We're all out today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr (Cuddles) Freddy de Ferret back again!

Wot a Super Day it has been!

Down here in the Southeast it has been sun shine followed by sun shine and warm breezes. OK, I know that 'Up North', well sort of Midlands Area, they have had snow on the hills and even some down in the valleys but here it has been SUNNY!

To show just how good, our walk this morning was along the Sea Wall and onto the beach with both Miss May and Miss April!

This is so much better than rain!
Miss April had a walk on the beach and the grass path but wanted a carry for a little while along the top path.

Holly enjoyed a rest on the beach while the ferrets were having a sniff!

.........................are they going to be long?
Once they got to the bench on the hill it was a fast trot all the way back to the car!

April is doing well on her medication and when she is awake she is full of fun and bounce! At home she loves chasing around the house and fighting with May but she does enjoy her snooze afterwards! May of course is a bit livelier and stays awake a bit longer which can be a problem sometimes. You see May has worked out that if she gives the Poo Pot a good kicking, she will get attention from Old Two Legs, even if it is to tell her off for kicking the pot!

So, being a bit sneaky, she starts to kick the other tray which is a bed made up for both May and April so there is not so much of a dash when April want a wee!

The only problem is, April is in the tray trying to get some sleep and May is kicking seven bells out of it!

So OTL tells May off and sometimes puts her into the 'Naughty Cage' to cool off a bit!

Sometimes it works and sometimes May gets out and starts to attack Freddy's cage, trying to start a fight with Wendy!

That is one Mischievous Ferret!

Lunchtime Freddy de Ferret and Miss Wendy were out with us and down on the beach. Neither of them have been out for a couple of weeks due to the cold and wet weather, so this outing got them both excited!

OTL had to carry them both down to the beach while they were looking at the world around them. Freddy said he had almost forgotten what the world was like!

He made up for it 'cos as soon as they got onto the beach Freddy was digging away at the sand and making as bigger mess as possible!

Hang about I haven't finished yet!
Wendy was straight into the sea weed having a good rummage around looking for 'Slimy Monsters'!

Then she ran back to Freddy and the pair of them went back to the sea weed for some more 'Ferreting'!

Come on! Follow me, I've seen the Monster!
What she had seen was the reflection of Dave in the rock pool as he looked over their shoulder!

he then ran off laughing his tail off!

Hey! I fooled them!
There are times when young Dave can be a right pickle!

Now, we have another first!

In the past, when OTL puts Fred and Wendy in the travelling cage together, there is all hell breaking loose as Wendy gets all cross about Freddy taking up too much room and OTL has to separate them and Wendy travels in the Ferret Bag which has a chain and clip inside to keep her under control!

However, today, for the first time, they both went into the cage and  cuddled up together all the way home without any any nonsense!

Wendy has just started to come into season so OTL has been onto the vet to book her in to be 'Done'!

Once that is done she will be a lot happier in the future. Holly and I were done and I didn't like the stitches being taken out and Holly reckons she doesn't remember it at all!

May and April were done when they were at the Harrietsham Rescue Centre before they came to live with us and they reckon their tummy was a bit sore for a few days but it soon passes.

So, all the ferrets are cuddled up together and we can sniff food being cooked so that means there is a chance of some muggings!

Lets hope Archie Babes mum gets over her cold soon and stops looking like a Hamster!

Mind you, she can take her lunch to work with her and keep it in her cheeks and have a sneaky nibble before lunch!

We are off to see what what is up for mugging!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Yo little maties, it's been sunny here but we didn't have any warm breezes we did have a cold easterly wind though which got under my tail. My mum reckons she wouldn't be a bit surprised if we had a bit of snow at some time. Good to see that the furballs all got their walk out on the beach today. Glad to hear that Miss April is doing well on her medication, perhaps OTL could put stabilisers on the bed so that Miss May can't jolt it when she kicks it. We don't have different cages for Nipper, he's always in the naughty cage. My mum doesn't look like a hamster now but she's looking a bit Chinese round the cheek and I don't think it's because she's over done the plawn clackers or the flied lice. I'm still giving her lots of cuddles. I bet you enjoy it when the furballs all have their snoozes, that means you have OTL and Mrs TM all to yourselves. I suppose Mrs TM is off to her master class tomorrow, I think my mum is coming down next weekend, not sure yet if she's going to let me come with her but I have my paws crossed cos it's seems such a long time since I came and stayed with you's and OTL. Hope you get some decent muggings tonight. Have a lovely evening, love, licks, wags and snugs from little Arch and Mr (can I come too) Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Hi there my southern sunshine friends. Well we haven't had white stuff today just more of the wet stuff.
Sorry for the long absence but mum has not been here to help me type but we have been reading your blog every day. Some very important people were visiting mum's school and she had to work til midnight. We haven't seen her for 3 days. But all went well and she's home tonight so we can have a nice weekend. It is so sunny in your photos and we are very jealous of your lovely walks on the beach today. The ferrets looked very happy and it's so good that Freddy and May are finally able to cuddle in the travel cage. Hamish has been done but that don't stop him trying to give me a cuddle. I hope it works better for Miss May. Well the two legs are off to bed now, mum is glue slapping tomorrow and still needs to pack the giant suitcase she takes. Don't know why she takes so much stuff because she only comes home with little bits of card that she's made. She'll never use up all her stuff at this rate! Love, wags, woofs and licks from Izzy and Hamish xx xx xx xx

  3. We are going to have to buy OTL a Sheriff's badge to wear on his jerkin, he really has to be in charge or ferret wars would overrun the house. Good about Fred and Wendy in the travelling cage, another hurdle overcome by the look of it. Glad to see you all running along the beach in the sunshine, that's the way to do it, not having to wear big coats and dodge the rain. Sorry about the snow up country, we had some sleet on the way back from Canterbury way this afternoon (Sunday). Have been to Dover for the weekend so I am catching up on your stories. xxxxxx
