Freddy finds out what a puddle is for!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

Wot a glorious day it has been today, loads of sunshine, no storms and plenty of sand to dig in!

I see May is digging another hole!
Even little April joined in the fun!

She decided that a lift in the ferret bag was a good idea, so, while she was looking at the world over the top of the bag, Miss May was rampaging all over the beach!

Watch it, she's started to look our way!
When we got back home, The Missus grabbed the car and headed off to do some shopping while Old Two Legs got going with the ferret cage cleaning!

Freddy just loves his time out of the cage while OTL is doing the 'House Work'.

He chases Wendy up and down the stairs and she sometimes attacks him and runs away, looking over her shoulder, just to make sure he is following!

OTL says she is a 'Right Tart' just like Holly Dog!

We got out again at lunchtime and headed down to the beach but today the tide was well out and I didn't get a swim!

If only that tide would hurry up!
I was thinking how I could get a paddle when young Freddy came along the Sea Wall and announced that he was just Too Hot!

He asked just how a ferret could cool down before he got home.

Then I had an idea!

Stick with me Freddy, I've got an idea!
With all this rain we have had over the last few days, there has been some deep puddles left on the roads and the grass path, so, on our way back to the car I told Fred and Wendy to have a swim in the puddles!

Freddy galloped down the hill with Wendy on his heels and then they both went splosh!

I could get used to this!
Wendy rolled over, got soaking wet all over then raced out of the puddle for a roll in the grass leaving Freddy to swim up and down the puddle!

Now I'm going to try breast stroke!
Back in the car we had to give them both a rub down but OTL just couldn't wipe the grin off Freddy's chops!

Holly and I decided to stay at home while OTL went off to get the big car. You know what? He was crying all the way home!

The weekend is here, so we plan to have some fun. OTL says he may open up another bottle of whisky to celebrate the results of the referendum. He said that back in 1975 he voted for  joining but says that it hasn't been such a big deal and now he reckons we can get back to making Britain 'Great' again!

Me? I know nothing, as long as I can get my nibbles and a walk, I'm OK!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down in the sunshine where there's big sploshy puddles. I'm glad you had better weather today, we've not had a bad day just a few very heavy showers in between the sunshine. It's good to hear that the 4 furballs have had a good day, playing, chasing, rampaging, digging and having a swim in a bit sploshy puddle. I bet Freddy really enjoyed his 40 lengths or however many he managed in that big puddle. Glad to hear that the big car is back and I hope it's all mended now, sorry to hear that OTL's wallet has taken a hit though. My mum is having a nice nightcap tonight to celebrate the result. She says cheers OTL and Mrs TM, has Mrs TM got a glass of bubbly to celebrate with? My mum is guarding her glass so that I can't get a slurp, shame because I really enjoyed it the other night, it was very tasty. Do you know that my friend Brenda, who works at the same shop as my mum, called me a drunken bum when I saw her this morning! Wot a cheek! I'm still friends with her though cos she gives me the best cuddles when I call in to see her. I'm hoping the weather is nice for the weekend so that me and my mum can get some nice walks in. I hope the tide is in for you tomorrow Daisy or do you think it's gone to stay in France cos of the results. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Great news from Farnham, "the gas bottle has finally run out". We have been using it for ages and ages, several times a day Michael predicts it will run out, we cook, boil water, on and on but it has become a perpetual gas bottle. He was sure it would run out in the night or half way though some exotic cooking but no.........this morning when making a mid morning drink, BINGO no gas, the cupboard is outside and he even went out in the sunshine to change it over.
Hope OTL enjoyed his tot of whiskey and TM had a flaggon of bubbly, Michael read that the pound is as strong because it still releases a trolley in Tescos. There you have it, glad all over, now round two I suppose. We took four hours yesterday to travel 70 miles but sun is shining and off to the Fayre and Carnival soon, surprised to see those little ones swimming in their private pool, lovely to see. Lovely to be able to read all about your adventures and sorry that the car took more money. xxxxxx
