It has stopped raining!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret again!

You know what? The rain has stopped! Well, just before we left home there was some rain drops falling into the pond but when we got out the front door, nothing!

It was over cast but that was a lot better than horizontal rain!

Another good thing was the fact we didn't have to engage in any speed weeing!

When we got out of the car, Holly went off sniffing the rubbish the night time visitors had left on the ground, you know, Burger Bar paper and stuff like that, messy Two Legs!

I, on the other paw went off hunting rabbit!

There I was slowly stalking this rabbit that seemed to have frozen solid in the grass. I was slowly putting one paw down and then another and still the rabbit didn't move!

That was until Old Two Legs and the ferrets came up to tell me we were heading off.

At that point the rabbit came alive and disappeared into the bushes!

Slowly, Slowly Catchy Rabbit!
Down on the beach there were some new sniffs that had been washed up on the tide, interesting to sniff but not worth a roll, if you know what I mean!

Yeah! It sort of sniffs of crab poo!
Miss May found the drain hole that had been washed clear of sand and stones. She said she could sniff rats and stuff up the hole and wanted to go in and investigate but OTL said we didn't have all day to wait around for her so she got picked up!

May was not a 'Happy Ferret'!

Come on! Let me in there, I'll soon sort them out!
In the distance we saw one of the Wormy Men all on his own looking for worms. Due to the amount of rain we have had lately, the Wormy Men had stayed at home polishing up their forks!

Come on Wormys, WM gotta shining fork!
As we headed back to the car we came across Sid the Sprinting Slug who was out on a training run. He is expecting to get called up for the Olympics in the near future!

Good Luck Sid!
He didn't hang about and was off like a rocket!

Lunchtime I managed a swim in the sea as the tide was in. As normal, Holly stayed well out of the way, that was until she sneaked in and pinched the stick OTL was throwing for me!

Holly, waiting for the stick!
Although it wasn't cold, I was glad when we got back to the car 'cos OTL gave me a good rub down with the Doggy Towel to get rid of most of the water from my back and tummy.

It was better when we got home 'cos he did it again with a clean dry towel!

We all settled down to watch the F1 Practise and then the Qualifying. That race track is rather tight on some of the bends and Holly says there will be some fun and games when the race gets started tomorrow!

OTL has told us the car is coloured White, 'cos we had a choice of white or white! He says it is nothing to get too excited about, it's a 'Bog Standard' replacement for the small car that we have now had for eleven years and while the small car is still OK and works well, OTL had instructions from the accountant to spend some money before the Tax Man gets his grubby fingers on it!

We have never seen a Tax Man so we can't confirm if he has grubby fingers but if the accountant says so then we believe him!

OK, dinner is being cooked so we are off for some serious mugging!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the seaside with the interesting sniffs and bunnies. Glad to hear it didn't rain and you didn't have to do speed weeing and pooing today. That Miss May is a feisty little madam. Probably not a good idea to go into that hole, you never know wot might be lurking, there might be nargles in there. Glad to see you got a nice swim this afternoon, I hope Holly got her paws wet when she pinched your stick. A white car sounds nice to me. Now if OTL needs to spend some money wot about a visit to the dog treat place, you could pick out all sorts of things for him to spend his dosh on. I'm off to bed early tonight cos my mum has to go to work in the morning so I'm on guard duty. Hope you got some good muggings, have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Hello little furry friends and TM/OTL of course, what a funny old miserable day it has been, instead of going out somewhere we stayed in and did things around the house, mowed lawns, cleaned drains and washed garage roof extension (when I say we, I meant Michael) I cooked a salad and then cooked yoghurt for pudding, busy, busy.
Ah yes, a white car, good choice and the accountant is wise like an owl, understand completely. That rabbit sounds as though it was stunned by the sight of you or perhaps it was surprised by the speeding slug getting ready for the Olympics, either way looks like OTL scuppered your chances. Glad Miss May was on a lead, I don't think you would have seen her again if she had ventured into that drain hole, you and Holly had better stay away as well, you never know what is in there!
Does OTL have you both as employees in your guarding capacity, I am sure the tax man would make a big allowance for steak and chicken strips on the annual budget! Hope you managed some nice muggings tonight, you have to keep your strength up with this summer weather. xxxxxx
