Holly gets her paws wet!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here!

Hasn't it been warm today? Old Two Legs was planning to give the old Little Car a wash before sending it off to get it's MOT on Monday but OTL said it was just too hot!

So he left it on the drive and has put off the job until tomorrow!

He's good at putting off jobs, he says it's a skill he has learnt in the past!

The Missus just calls him a Lazy Woofer, or some thing like that!

Down on the beach first thing, we all had a game of 'Dig and Whiz' but the ferrets had their game while Holly Chops and I had our own game!

Getting ready for a Whizz!
Holly and I are having our game near to a plastic bag full of some thing sniffy that was left by the tide!

We had a sniff and then stayed well away!

Being warm, Miss April can't rush and tear around as much as May, so she gets a chance to have a little carry until she feels like another run!

OTL has his hand inside the bag and April is sitting in OTL's hand and is keeping an eye on what is going on around her!

Miss April keeping an eye on what is happening!
Back home OTL was in 'Manufacturing Mode' so that left us with plenty of time for a snooze!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and Holly got all big and brave 'cos she went into the puddles on the shore and had a sniff at something that was wriggling in the mud!

Look! It's Wriggling!
The afternoon has been just too hot to do anything. So the car remains unwashed and we have all been catching up on the snoozing!

I wonder if Little Bella has been running circles around Hamish and Izzy?

Holly and I reckon that Archie Babe is a lucky woofer having all those frogs to chase, we haven't seen a frog or tadpole in the pond, just loads of snails and wriggly things!

We are going to see what is cooking, both Holly and I could do with a nibble!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties who've been snoozing lots today. Wot a lovely day you've had, the pictures are lovely. My mum says she doesn't blame OTL for not doing the car washing and having a nice snooze instead. Now look at Holly chops getting all brave in the water. Did she catch the wiggly thing? Miss April must get a really good view sitting on OTL's hand and watching everything around. I bet Izzy and Hamish are having lots of fun with little Bella, I like playing whizz but I prefer to play it with the frogs. I've been having a lovely time today cos I found the frogs new hiding places since the pond has been moved. My mum got quite cross with me cos I was playing whizz with a frog and it decided it wanted to stop for a rest and I decided it wasn't time to rest so my mum locked me in while she put the frog back in the place where it could hide away from me. I reckon she was having her own game of whizz with the frog and she shut me in cos she didn't want me to have as much fun as her. Well the garden man has finished today until he comes back to put a new window in the garage, which we hope won't be too soon, we'd like a week or two to get over having workmen around. Me and my mum are planning a little lay in tomorrow morning, seems ages since we've had a lay in. My mum had a little snooze while the news was on until I woke her up and told her it was my dinner time, do you know she said some norty words! My mum said that OTL needs some more frog spawn next year to put in his pond cos she says frogs go back to where they were spawned so she thinks the frogs that Missie's mum and dad brought down are thumbing it back up the M2, they've probably reached the M25 by now though. Have a lovely evening and plenty of tasty muggings. Love, licks, wags, sniffs and hops from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. That Holly is getting brave with a capital B getting her paws wet, is this a sign of the future, she will be racing you for the stick next week. I don't blame OTL for not washing the car, never do today what you can put off until tomorrow, something like that but I may have got it mixed up! Lovely games on the beach and Miss April looks sweet watching you all, she seems to know when to slow down, bless her. Hope you found something nice cooking, hope it wasn't salad. Those frogs have either gone home or are playing double O frog and laughing at you. xxxxxx

  3. Hello Daisy and all my Godwin friends. Hot weather! Are you sure? It's still cold, wet and miserable up here. You've all had lots of fun on the beach. Whizz is such a fun game and yes...Bella has been playing again. Her training is coming along nicely. What a shame that Trevor and his friends have found somewhere else to live. Archie is very lucky having frogs to whizz with. Do they squeak because we have a frog that squeaks? It has 12 squeaks and I play gentle tugs with Bella. Poor Bella has got a little cough so Dad took her to the vets who gave her a jab and put her on antibiotics. She also had a wormer. She seems a little better tonight but we have to take her back to the vets on Saturday if she's not getting better. It durex doesn't stop her playing whizz & chase. Hamish & I were really pleased to see her back home and gave her big licks on the face. I think I really like my new little sis. Love, wags, woofs and licks from Izzy xxxxxxxx

  4. Sorry to hear little Bella has a cough, hope it gets better soon. Yep my frogs squeak, they squeak when I make them hop, they're not too keen on me nudging their butts with my cold nose. Don't you think Bella is a tad young for durex or is that wot my mum calls a typo ;) Love and licks to you up there in the cold north. Little Arch xxx
