It's a Yellow Filter Day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Phew! Wot a muggy day it's been down here!

Last night we had trouble sleeping, it was just too hot!

We couldn't wait until morning came and it was time to get out for a walk with the ferrets!

Down on the beach I spotted a couple of ships tied up to Sheerness Docks. One was a 'Floating Brick' full of cars.

Another Floating Brick!
The other one was a 'Banana Boat'!

You could tell that 'cos the ship had the name of the company on the side, 'Chiquita', they are a big supplier of Bananas world wide!

Hey! Mr Tally Man, tally me Banana!
Holly said that The Missus has eaten bananas and offered he a nibble but they didn't taste nice!

We didn't hang about cos the ferrets were feeling a bit hot and spent a lot of the times sitting in the bag and looking out the top!

Back home Holly and I got a bowl of chicken waiting for us. Holly said she was too hot to eat and she'll save it for this evening. I got through half of the bowl before giving up!

Around lunch time it was getting very muggy and Old Two Legs decided to leave the ferrets at home and the help them keep cool, he soaked a couple of towels and draped them over the cages to keep the temperature down!

The sky was sort of cloudy so OTL decided to take the Yellow Filter with us!

A Good Yellow Filter Day!
As we were walking along the Sea Wall there was a terrible noise coming from the beach, it was a Pug type of woofer with a 'woof' bigger than the beach!

The Two Legs who owned her called out to her ...........Holly!

Now, isn't it strange that the loudest woofer is always called Holly!

Gawd! Wot a Noise!
When we got to 'Our' beach, we met up with Darcy who had found a tennis ball and was having fun chasing it!

I decided to join in the fun and after a quick dip I was chasing the ball when it got thrown into the water!

Now, Darcy wasn't fast when chasing the ball but she almost all of the time managed to pick up the ball, that's 'cos her mouth was bigger than mine!

Gerroffthisismyball!
Mind you, it wasn't like that all the time. When the ball was up against the sea weed, I managed to grab it and get back to the beach before her!

Beat Ya! Beat Ya!
Darcy is a gentle woofer and she just loves OTL and didn't mind me playing with her ball!

Back at the car I got a good rub down with the doggy towel and we were off home in time to pick up TM from the village hall after her 'Master Class'!

Not sure what OTL is getting tonight but you can be sure we will help him eat it!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little hot dogs down by the seaside. Phew it's been very hot here today, I think if I lived near you I might have been tempted to have a little plodge in the water. Loved the pictures today. You've had quite a lot of fun despite it being very hot and do you know, it's supposed to get even hotter! My mum says she'll fill my boat paddling pool for me but I don't think I'll be getting in there, just in case it sails off up the garden. I met up with 2 of my friends this morning on my walk, there was Storm the big white german shepherd and Boris the bounce, he's a labradoodle. Now Boris has a grumbly tum, his TL said it's because Boris was eating his boys fishing tackle stuff and other stuff he wasn't supposed to eat, but Boris cheered up when he met up with me and Storm, I had to stand underneath Storm though cos Boris was bouncing around. I've had lots of snoozes today, this heat is very tiring. Now, I would love to go for a sniff on that Banana boat, I love bananas but I can't have them now cos I'm allergic to them. I'm off for a pre dinner snooze. Have a lovely evening with lots of muggings. Hope Mrs TM enjoyed her masterclass again today. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (I'm pooped) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. So today it's cars and bananas, what a mixture, I have never heard of the banana name before so I have learnt. It has been warm, we were sitting outside but I had to go inside because I don't enjoy the heat. I had a giggle at load mouth Holly, poor Holly dog she gets all the bad names whereas Daisy is a sweet quiet creature! The ferrets were lucky being in the bag and the best place for them this afternoon was in a damp draped cage. I understand that they don't handle heat very well so I hope OTL manages to keep them cool when and if it reaches 30 deg as predicted. I don't blame you for delaying your chicken until later it seemed a wise move and I hope that in the cooler evening you have managed to find a nice tasty morsel that TM cooked after her butterfly Master Class. xxxxxx
