We've been looking for camels!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

It's been another boiling hot day here in North Kent! The Missus said she heard thunder in the distance last night but no one else did!

There was some damp patches on the patio this morning when we looked but as Holly said, 'It could have been Sparrow Wee!'

The warm weather didn't stop us going out for a walk along the beach and today we took Fred and Wendy with us 'cos they didn't get a walk yesterday.

We met up with all the 'Lads' and young Marley ran ahead of all the gang to get his Tum Tickle from Old Two Legs!

When your ready OTL!
There is one thing about Marley, he sure knows how to pose!

Holly and I spent a really lazy morning in the shade by the pond. The jar OTL fitted up with a supply of water that pours out of the jar was making tinkling sounds as the water poured into the pond which is OK to begin with but after a time it just reminds you that you need a wee and it's time to go out again!

Lunchtime we left May and April at home 'cos it was just too hot for ferrets. They were having a great time snoozing on the frozen blocks OTL had put under their beds!

OTL says that what with all this 'Global Warming' if it gets any hotter we will find herds of camels roaming about with sad faces. Why they should have sad faces rather confussed us until OTL explained that camel have two humps and anyone who has the hump has a sad face!

Yeah, well, if they get anywhere near my chews I'll get the hump as well!

Down on the beach we saw another Ro-Ro Car Transporter floating off to sea and it was Holly who called out 'Look! Floating Brick!'

Another floating brick off to Hamburg!
The tide had got out so I didn't get a swim but I did find some water coming out of the drain, it was right whiffy and I decided to keep well away!

That sniffs horrid!
We have been looking for a good place to photograph the chimney when is gets blown up or rather down!

They have been knocking holes in the bottom of the chimney so we reckon it will be pretty exciting when it does go. OTL says that someone told him it will come down on the seventh September at nine in the morning but OTL reckons he needs confirmation before getting all the camera gear out!

TM has been given the job of searching FaceAche for information!

We have spotted TM taking sausages out of the freezer so it looks like 'Bangers and Mash' tonight, Yum Yum!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Yooooohooooo little maties. Wot another hot day it's been. Loved todays pictures. I reckon I might ask to stay home tomorrow on a bed with a nice ice block underneath. Them ferrets are well looked after by you lot. Sorry you didn't get to have your dip but I think you were very wise to give the whiffy water a miss. Glad you met up with your woofer mates this morning, I missed all my mates. It's been another day of cleaning and putting up curtains and things here, it's getting very boring, no siestas with my mum, I don't know, I might just have to pack up and move. Not long now until my boys April arrives, I hope she doesn't keep still or she'll be finding herself being dusted. I'm off for a patrol before scoff time. Hope you manage to snag a banger or two, have a good evening all. Love, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Greetings my southern Hot Dogs. Izzy here and back on patrol. I've been feeling a little sorry for myself losing so many teeth at once. I can only chew on one side as I've lost my big chewing teeth on one side at the top. Mum was laughing at me when I couldn't work out why my food wasn't breaking down. I said that if she laughed again then she'd be missing a few teeth too. One good thing is I get to take my antibiotics in a cocktail sausage. Result!
It's not so hot up here, in fact some people lit their fires last night.
Young Morley looks like a fun chap. You have such a lot of chums to play with. I had a good game of dig and whizz with Bella today. We make a good team but mum's not so happy as she has lots of holes in the garden now! Don't know what her problem is, we found lots of worms for her. We are off for a little holiday to the beach in the caravan for the weekend so I will catch up on your adventures when I get back. Have a lovely weekend. Love, wags, woofs and licks from Izzy xxxxxxxx

  4. Camels with the hump, yes I get it, very funny, you with even one hump is bad news. It has been warm here as well, I had a plawn day yesterdayut no crackers, prawn in a cocktail and then on sea bass with a white wine sauce, it's a good job I don't have a special anniversary very often but then it was Ian whose wallet wept. What a poser that Marley is, he is gorgeous, not quite as gorgeous as you but a close two and a half. Our friends doggie Harry went in for a swim yesterday, right in like you with just his head sticking out, he doesn't do balls though, seems to have no idea what to do with it but just swims and watches out for intruders. Have a super Sunday hopefully the ferrets will be able to go out soon, they must be getting stir crazy. xxxxxx. P.S. Hope you got some sausage or is that TM playing games with you? xx
