No Frogs, just Nargles on the prowl!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Happy Equinox!

We saw a real Autumnal sunrise, all misty and golden!

Autumn Equinox.
That didn't stop us from having a good game! May went off to see if there were any Nargles hiding under the Sea Weed. She said there were thousands there just waiting to attack us and pinch our rubber ball, just like they did yesterday when they pinched our solid rubber ball after we buried it in the hole!
Get back all you Nargles or I'll get Holly to sort you out!
May came running over and told me all about the Nargles under the Sea Weed and how they had designs on our rubber ball!

That was it, I was digging for all I was worth! May was helping by shifting some of the sand and helping with instructions on the shape and size of the hole!

Over to the left a bit!
May had a go at digging as well and there were times when she held the ball so I could dig underneath the ball.

OK, have a breather, you don't want to over do it!
Then I took turns in holding the ball while May dug underneath as well!

OK, I've got it, carry on digging!
Finally we reckoned it was deep enough and we took time to scan around to see if the Nargles were watching us!

No, I can't see any of them watching us, quick, shove it in the hole and sit on it!
We buried the ball and kicked the sand back into the hole to cover the ball. Old Two Legs said that it really wasn't deep enough and any Nargle with a nose could find it without any problem!

Well, we were wondering just what we could do when OTL suggested that we put it in a Poo Bag and hide it in the Ferret Bag!

Well, it sounds like a good idea to me!
So, that was it, back in the bag and it is safe until tomorrow morning!

This afternoon Fred and Wendy had a go at digging for the ball, until OTL told them it was at home!

Wadda You mean 'It's Gone'?
This afternoon it has been rather warm, so we are crossing our claws that it keeps warm and sunny for when we go away on holiday next month.

Until then we are going to enjoy any sun we get, even if it is down here in North Kent!

Oh! Another thing, Archie Babe, OTL won't let us pat the Frogs Butt 'cos he says that we would be too rough!

Holly reckons that they taste like chicken and we love chicken!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Well wot a lot of smashing pictures today. Good to see you all had a good time on the beach doing all that digging. Now I still reckon OTL should carry some little flags in his pocket then he could put them in the sand where you bury your balls. Miss May really is very helpful. They must have been very small nargles she found under the seaweed. I always thought nargles were giant type things. Now then, about this patting the frogs butts, you do have to be very careful and gentle, it makes your paw quiver cos you have to be very, very careful but I'm sure you and Holly chops would be gentle with them. Anyways they soon hop if they think you might be too rough with them. You'll have to have a go when OTL isn't looking, but first you need them to come out of the pond, ours usually come out when it rains, they don't seem to like the rain and they hop across the garden to get in the shade of the pots and plants. Glad you had a good sunny day, it's been very nice here as well. My mum had to go to the dentist this morning and she decided to have her tooth taken out so that it wouldn't keep costing her money. My mum said she felt a bit faint at the dentists and they made her eat a funny big tablet thingy that tasted like orange, my mum reckons she'd have been alright if they didn't charge so much. We had a nice siesta when she got home cos the dentist told her she had to go home and rest. We're waiting now for my boy to come home from work. Did you get some good muggings last night? Hope you manage some muggings this evening. Have a good evening all, love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxx

  2. I don't think I will feel safe on your beach again, we will have to meet outside Morrisons, the Nargles are scared in busy places. Lots more digging today, great fun but you did tease poor Fred and Wendy getting them to find the ball that was at home, how could you? Lovely pictures so nice to look at, the faces say more than your words can tell us. Poor Archies mum, the dentist is worst than your Vet, big hugs to her, hope Archie makes a fuss of her. He is very good with his tips on tapping a frogs butt, be careful though in case they bite! xxxxx
