The Badger Ballet.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, there is also one more, we got a video sent by our mate Melissa of the antics this badger gets up to in her garden, just for a nibble of the bird table!

Now, if that didn't tickle you tail, nothing will!

The weather is changing here, we felt a little rain on our morning walk, not enough to worry about but it was there!

Looking at the clouds going past we reckon someone up north of us is due for soaking!

Gloomy or Wot!
Walking along the beach we discovered a 'Nelly Fish' and it looks like it got washed up on the last high tide.

Old Two Legs has always told us we shouldn't get too near 'cos they have stingers that may give us a nasty rash!

A washed up Nelly Fish!
We all headed off to the grass path and had a great time doing our 'Indian Style' sniffing!

How come she always gets the first place?
Back home for a snooze, only to be woken up by rain lashing against the bedroom window, it looks like that storm cloud has brought his mates with him today!

By the time lunch was announced the rain had gone and we were down the beach again.

You know it was high tide and the water was just right for a 'Deep Paddle' so in I went!

OK, I know you don't have a ball but what about a stone and pretend?
Freddy and Wendy reckon that it was better off back in the bag and the tried to rush OTL but he was too quick for them!

OK, count three and we'll both rush him!
On the way back to the car, OTL stopped to pick up Holly's Poo and while he wasn't looking Miss Wendy dived into the bramble bush and was heading for the deepest, darkest part of the bushes.

OTL tried to pull her back out but the lead was stuck so OTL stuck his hand into the brambles and followed the lead down to where Wendy was stuck!

He got her out and then spent the next ten minutes trying to get all the bramble spikes out of his hand!

He says he now has a 'Sore Paw'!

All together Aaaaaaaah!

OK, we are off 'cos we can sniff dinner, OTL's dinner and we need to taste it in case it is poison or under cooked, the things we do for him and he just doesn't appreciate it!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Well me and my mum had a good laugh at that badger video, don't they have to work hard for their scoff. I'm glad I get silver service with my scoff. I'd be way too skinny if I was one of them badgers. It's been very dull here as well today but so far we've not had any rain. Loved all the pictures today. You're very brave Daisy, wasn't that water cold? That Miss Wendy is sneaky, going into the brambles when OTL was busy. Wot did Freddy think? Miss May looks like she's a real woofer following you and Holly chops along. Sorry to hear about OTL's sore paw and we all hope it feels better soon and doesn't affect his picture taking. I think if I find a nelly fish I'll steer clear of it, I don't mind sniffing things as long as they don't try to hurt me. Me and my mum have been very busy in the garden today, I've been helping her get rid of all the seeds that have fallen in and piled up, I roll in them and they stick to me then I go off up the garden and have a good shake, my mum didn't reckon much to my way of getting rid of them but at least they're not piled up by the back door ready for me to take in the house anymore. Have a good evening all and enjoy your muggings, I'm off to get some scoff and then do a patrol of the grounds and see if there's anything out there to play with, I had a good game of whizz and hop last night with a couple of frogs. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. I can report that we had twenty fine spots of rain in Lincoln this afternoon and that was all, we are going further north tomorrow and will try to take the sunshine with us. You don't need it, going in the water like you do means that you are happy wet! Poor OTL with a sore paw, I hope he didn't show you up to your mates when he howled. So Miss Wendy and Freddie tried to out manoeuvre him, bad job, better luck next time. Hope your muggings were good tonight, I expect you had double rations with the sore paw unable to feed him or did TM get the spoon out! Going to see some trams tomorrow and have heard that The Shepherd and Shepherdes does a mean mixed grill so rude not to sample it. xxxxx
