Too Hot for Ferrets!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Wow! Hasn't it been hot today?

Even this morning first thing it was almost too hot to walk all the way around, well, that's what Miss May said as she blagged a lift from Old Two Legs!

The sun reflection on the water looked good and of course OTL adjusted the camera so the sun didn't show!

Look! No Sun!
May said that she could sniff the mink again on the beach but Holly and I couldn't find it anywhere.

Crabs, Ferrets, Old Dog and Holly, but no Mink!
We got back home to discover that OTL had to go out delivering stuff, well, there was no way he was going without us!

Off we went and after deliveries OTL filled the car up with petrol and while we were waiting Holly said that the air held a sniff she recognised, Doggy Shop!

Well, that was it, we both gave OTL a real woofing and we landed in the car park of 'Pets R Us', Holly and I went potty!

We haven't been here for ages so this was something special!

In we went and almost filled the trolley with goodies!

There was stuff for the ferrets as well, plus nibbles for our holiday next month, then there was nibbles for now and teeth cleaning chews as well!

We came out loaded up to the car roof, so we're OK for the holiday and the next month!

We were late in going out at lunchtime 'cos OTL was waiting for a delivery. Plus, we thought it  was just too hot to take Freddy and Wendy out but they wanted to come!

That means we had OTL and even The Missus came along as well!

First it was OK 'cos there was a cool breeze blowing but the ferrets soon decided that it would be a good idea if they got a carry from OTL!

It's no good! We both need a carry!
When we got back to the car both ferrets were straight in the water bowl while Holly and I had to wait!

After they had their drink Holly and I watched while OTL poured water over both of them to help cool them down a little!

Soggy Ferrets!

As soon as they were back in their cage Holly and I were nose deep into the water bowl!

Super Stuff!

Back home they got another rinse under the cold water tap!

Talk about Wriggly Ferrets!

We are off now for a snooze, this running around sure takes it out of us woofers!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy a a soggy Freddy de Ferret!

  1. You were early today, two walks, working and writing a blog, didn't you do well! It has been very hot and I am hoping that tomorrow is cooler because I am working (WORKING), first job this year in Manor Park, West Malling asking about the park and peoples needs in a park. Will make a change, I expect to meet quite a few woofers, I will name drop of course and tell them that I know YOU. Well Michael has just nodded off and I think I shall just close my eyes once I have managed to hit Publish! xxxxx

  2. Evening little maties down by the hot seaside. It has been a hottie today, me and my mum have stayed home doing some jobs and having a nice siesta in the cool. My boy and Mrs boy have gone up to London, they're seeing a film and then they are going to go round places of interest. I don't know that there's much interesting up there unless you stop at all the places to scoff. Good to hear about your trip to stock up on the goodies and treats, you are lucky. I feel sorry for the little furballs in this heat, wot a good job they've got OTL to give them a carry when they can't go any further. I hope Mrs TM didn't need a carry back to the car or OTL would have been in bother, he hasn't got a bag for TM's. I've been for my check up this morning and my vet can go on holiday now next week cos all checked out fine. I did enjoy the cuddles and the kisses I got. I might just have to pop back in a couple of days to pretend to get weighed, just so I can get some more cuddles. Loved all the pictures today. I think I better go and patrol the grounds or my mum will think I've gone on strike. Have a good evening all and hope Sue doesn't get too hot at work tomorrow, she'll have to look for a shady spot. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
