All Work and a Little Play!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holy, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

Well, it seems we have the best of the weather down here in North Kent! Mind you, we are wondering what it will be like when we head off on our holidays up to North Yorkshire.

Will there be howling gales and snow and rain and ice?

We are just not used to that stuff so early before Christmas!

Oooops! I mentioned Christmas!

Sorry!

Down on the beach this morning I managed to get a spot all to myself where I could have a really good dig!

Let them try ti find the ball now!
As you would guess, I wasn't left along for long. Before long, along came Miss May who shoved her nose into my hole and made a grab at my ball!

Come on, share the ball!
In the end I let her have a play with the ball while I went on a sniff along the beach!

It wasn't long before I discovered a Shore Crab who was catching some rays and when I got close it waved its claws at me!

I need some Factor 35 on my tummy!
Back home we left Old Two Legs alone 'cos he is busy trying to get all the orders out before the end of the week!

I went off to find the chew I had left under OTL's pillow and spent the morning making piles of crumbs under the duvet!

Lunchtime the sun was out but there was a stiff breeze, not that it worried us and Holly even challenged me to a race!

Come on Daisy Dog, catch me if you can!
Holly really had the pickle in her today. As soon as she got to the beach she was rolling around in the sand and kicking her legs into the air!

This is soooooooo Gooooood!
After her roll on the beach she sat down to watch the ships go by.

She didn't notice that Freddy Boy was creeping up behind her. He was just about to grab Holly's tail when she noticed him out the corner of her eye!

Watch it Shorty, your getting close to being buried in the sand along with that ball!
Just to be on the safe side, Holly got up and wandered off to sniff the crab we saw this morning but it had either moved off or got 'Rescued' by a sea gull!

Back home Holly has spent the afternoon snoozing on the sofa watching the birds in the garden. I was helping OTL packing all the stuff up ready for delivery tomorrow.

If the weather is OK we plan to give the caravan a wash and also the big car so when we go away we will all be smart and clean!

We are looking forward to meeting up with Izzy, Hamish and Bella. OTL fell for Bella when she came down for a visit. Now it sounds like she has got all grown up!

I'm off to find out what is for dinner!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little mates. I'm glad to hear you've still got the sunshine down there in sunny Kent. We've had a sunny day up here in north Herts. It would worry me if I thought I was going to be taken away to somewhere where it was raining, gales or even snowstorms. I expect though that it will be ok, I think the sun follows you lot wherever you go. I bet it will be lots of fun meeting up with Izzy, Hamish and little Bella, you'll be able to catch up on all the gossip and have some good whizz's around and find all their favourite sniffs. You looked like you were about to disappear down that hole until Miss May came along, I'm sure she was getting worried and came to see if you needed digging out. That little crab looked a happy little chap but I wouldn't volunteer to put any sun cream on his tum, he might nip you. Holly chops looks like she really enjoyed her roll. Freddy might know she'd spot him sooner or later. Do you think that maybe that little crab might have gone for a dip, he might have got a tad warm sun bathing. I bet OTL was glad of your help today. Loved all the pictures. When are you off on your holibobs? Have a lovely evening, hope it's something tasty for dinner. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Hello Godwin Clan, I havre a whole house full of Internet thingy, two are off flying kites, one is working and I am home alone with the instructions for finding tea making gear and also two tins of biscuits, Graham must think I look hungry! It is sunny here, don't make the car and caravan too clean because it will be dirty once you are out of Kent. TM posted a wonderful shot of Grain so Michael put up some of the Lakes just to even things up. Great fun in the sun with the crab and the ball and I hope dinner was good, off to play catch up on your life in Kent xxxxx
