The Mystery of Archie's Shed!

Hi Woofers!

The Gang is back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

We love Saturdays, an extra ten minutes in bed, a lazy breakfast and all day with Old Two Legs trying very hard not to do anything too strenuous!

The weather forecast wasn't too promising but we headed off to the beach. Just as we got out of the village we looked across the fields and saw the first signs of a serious Autumn, misty fields!

Misty Morning Scene!
OTL stopped to take a photo then it was down to the beach.

We arrived and the first thing we saw was a Rainbow over the top of the hill. Although it looked pretty, we soon realised that the sun was shining through some rain to produce the Rainbow and we were in between both!

Very nice but we need to get a move on!
May and I had a quick game of 'Bury The Ball' but it didn't last long and OTL soon collected the ball and hid it in a Poo Bag!

No, I fancy burying it here!
In the end May decided to go for a run along the beach while Holly and I headed for the Grass Path and on to the car!

Just watch this, they don't call me The Flying Ferret for nothing!
Mind you, when we pointed out the rain clouds heading our way we almost had trouble keeping up with May!

Here come the rain!
We got back to the car just in time and it rained all the way back home!

Lunchtime Fred and Wendy came out with us and again it was OK at the start but soon the rain came down!

I don't like the look of those clouds!
Wendy wanted to dig a hole but after just a couple of paw full of sand she left it and we all ran for the car!

I just felt a drip on my nose!
By the time we got back to the car we were all wet!

So, by the time we got home we were all a bit wet and soggy!

Now that is a good excuse for a good towel down and then an afternoon snooze!

Now, we have been thinking about Archie Babes 'Visitors' under the shed. We had a visitor that took up residence under our shed and although OTL baited a rat trap with loads of goodies, we never caught him!

We haven't seen him for ages so we reckon he has moved on.

There was a time when we had mouses under the shed, according to The Missus but we never saw any.

Now, Nargles, that is more likely, those Nargles get everywhere and a nest of Nargles can be a real problem 'cos they keep fleas as pets!

Best of luck and don't get too close to the shed bottom, you never know what will come out!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the seaside with the lovely rainbows. It's not been a very nice day weatherwise has it. Loved OTL's pictures, specially the ones showing the mist and the clouds. Miss May really does seem to have taken you and your balls under her wing. Freddy and Wendy look good on the beach, sorry to hear that you didn't quite miss the rain though, it's a shame when rain cuts your walk time short. I got caught in the rain this morning but that was cos I met up with some TL's who think I'm the bees knees and they wanted to chat and cuddle with me. First it was Sonia from across the road, she hasn't been very well so I haven't seen her for nearly a week, she kept bending down to cuddle me and then she got dizzy when she stood up, my mum told her not to bend down but she does like to give me a snuggle. Then I met up with my bozo brothers mum, they moved away over a year ago but she came back to visit someone and she insisted she had cuddles and took me to see her chap and show me to him, he wanted me to get up in his big van but I said no, I don't quite trust that he wouldn't drive away with me. So by the time we got to the point of going home from our walk, the rain came along and we got wet. Then I had to go and see my favourite nurse Louise so she could check my butt and she gives me lots of cuddles. It's been really quite a tiring day having all these cuddles. Me and my mum had a siesta, so that was more snuggling. My mum has put some wood and heavy flower pots along the bottom of the shed so that I don't poke my nose under there. I've been very busy trying to find holes where I can fit my nose though. I told my boy today that there are monsters under the shed but he wouldn't even come and look! I'm off to do a patrol soon, I'm hoping my boy will come out with me, just in case. Have a lovely evening, hope you get some good muggings, I hear Mrs TM is doing a workshop tomorrow so maybe you'll get another lay in. My mums a bit sorry she can't come. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. We have had nice weather here, just a couple of minutes of drips, cloudy at times but sitting outside at 5pm the sun was really warm. So there you were in mist and rain with a rainbow thrown in for good measure and just for a bonus you still have that ball. Hope you have had lovely food today, we had fish and chips cooked for old fashioned way and wrapped in a faux newspaper cone, really lovely. Soon we are going to the pub for a socialable natter and drink, the club can't use their marquee as they can't peg it out, they call it "The Tyne Tunnel" because of where they are, Up North! Good muggings xxxxx
