A Wet One Today!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a Terrible Day!

It rained all night and hasn't stopped all day!

This morning we had to put on our rain coats but we still got rain down our necks!

Old Two Legs got soaking wet on his trousers and boot and had to change them when we got back home!

Holly and I had to have a good rub down with our doggy towels and Miss May got a good rub down as well!

I got dragged to the vets and this time it was just a push and a poke around, a few questions then OTL got the bill and prescription!

We were told that I will be on these pills for the rest of my life to prevent me getting a soggy butt!

I have to keep on with the dose we are on now but in a months time we can try cutting it down to one tablet every two days, unless I have any accidents and then it's back to one a day!

This morning when OTL went in to say 'Good Morning' to the ferrets he found Miss May in Eric's bed!

Eric was on the floor outside the bed but OTL took this to be a good sign!

A bit later on in the morning, there was some squeaking from May and OTL found Eric in May's bed!

She was doing her 'Little Squeak' which doesn't mean she is scared or hurt but more of an invitation to play a game. OTL had to make a quick decision on leaving Eric inside the bed or get him out, just in case.

OTL decided to ask what Eric was doing and Eric almost fell out of the bed leaving Miss May in the bed all curled up in her own 'Ferret Doughnut'!

OTL decided that was a good sign and left Eric to get on with it but since then he hasn't tried to cuddle up again, maybe tonight?

Lunchtime it was still raining but not so much and we had a quick trip around the beach walk.

Freddy and Wendy had a little dig in the sand but insisted they got a carry to the bench on top of the hill. At that point they both got put down onto the ground and trotted all the way back to the car!

Back home we all got another rub down with the towel before heading to our beds for some serious snoozing!

Unfortunately OTL didn't take the camera out with him today, so no fancy pictures today!

Maybe tomorrow!

We have had 15.9mm of raid today, OTL's weather station say so!

Bye bye for now.

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down there by the wet and cold seaside. Well it's been raining here as well, almost non stop. I don't do wet so my mum has had to push me out of the door. Sounds like Eric might just be getting on the right side of Miss May, I do hope so, maybe she pushed him out of his bed to make a point, like she was there first and it all belongs to her, some wimmin are like that. I'd have thought Miss May would be glad to have some warm little chap to cuddle with these chilly nights. Glad you got on ok at the vets, hope he warmed his paws. My mum has just been looking at the price of the drugs I have to stay on and found them very much cheaper, so she is going to ask the vet for a prescription when we go on Friday. Hope that you can get down to one tablet every other day but then again does that mean you'll have to go without your tablet taking treat? I hope Mrs TM didn't wake you all up last night, grumbling about the noise of the rampaging ferrets. I bet Wendy and Freddy were glad to get back to the car and get a rub down with a nice dry towel, the grass can make your tummy quite damp and cold. I'm hoping it's going to be drier tomorrow, I really don't like this cold wet rain. It will soon be time for Eric to go and have a look at the big wide world, hope he likes it. Does OTL's weather station say when we might get a bit warmer weather? Have a lovely snoozey, snuggly evening with a few good muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. I don't like all this cold and wet either, the draghts are very nasty, you take take and wear your coats. Good news that the May/Eric saga seems to be going in the right direction and that maybe TM can sleep without disturbance after all nobody goes round with the turbo charged broomstick in the middle of the night, only her. Good news also on the soggy bottom saga, keep taking the tablets. OTL is forgiven for not taking his camera, cameras and wet are not good mixes, maybe tomorrow at least in doors. Don't forget pictures of the ping pong balls! Soon be time for Eric to face the world with all those sniffs. Nighty night xxxxxx
