Does it taste like....?

Yo Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Minus One Degree it was this morning! Outside, not inside the house!

Loads of frost again and some misty bits across the fields. We got up late, so by the time we were ready to go it had warmed up a degree or so, but it was still cold!

The Missus insisted we put on our fleece lined coats which to be honest only fit Holly, not me. As I run along my left leg sort of gets trapped inside the leg holes and I end up like a three legged woofer!

Old Two Legs has made some adjustments and sewed up the front so it doesn't gape open but it still is just not right!

So, what is a girl to do?

That's right, rub it off!

Come on, gerroff!

Lunchtime was OK, back to our harnesses and most of the frost had disappeared and of course that brought out the Two Leg Families wandering along the Sea Wall and of course we got the 'Ooooo! What are They?'

The ferrets, not us!

That means we have to hang around for ages while OTL goes through the 'Wot R Ferrets?' bit and then Wendy and Freddy get cuddles and strokes and 'Ooo! Can I have One Daddy?'

Boring or Wot!

Mind you, Miss Wendy was still looking to get back in the bag!

I don't care, it's still cold down here"
After a while, OTL got so fed up with lifting the ferrets up when a woofer passed that he ended up carrying them all the way to the bench on the hill before putting them down again!

Holly and I were discussing what nibbles we were going to choose when we got home, Teeth Cleaning Chews we got from Archie Babe or some 'Meaty Sticks we got in our Christmas Stocking!

Then Holly asked if I could remember seeing any Hamsters at the Doggy Shop 'cos she wanted to know what 'Sparkle' looked like, even though she is a 'Miniature Hamster'.

Of course Holly just had to spoil it all by asking...........Do you think 'Sparkle' would taste like chicken?

Naughty Holly!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the frosty seaside. Well you were lucky it was only minus 1, cos I heard it was minus 6 near here, now that is very cold. The frost has hung around all day so there's no need for Jack to call tonight, he can go and play somewhere else. It was very icy on the pavements all day as well, it was like trying to skate and skating on four legs is not easy. Well I went for my bath and clip, my mum said I was a naughty boy cos I wouldn't sit when the groomer asked me and I wouldn't stand up when she asked me and I kept walking in circles so she couldn't brush me or trim me, I yelped a lot and was a bit of a pain to be honest. I did give Caroline lots of kisses though and I did get a little treat when she sort of finished. Now seeing as Holly knows everything about everything, are you sure it was Holly who wondered if miniature hamsters taste like chicken? Now I wouldn't take your coat off when you go out in this cold, you need to keep wrapped up. I bet Wendy and Freddie get fed up with people keep oohing and ahhhing them when they want to be in a nice warm bag. Hope you enjoy your treats, why not have one of each that way you don't need to choose. I think it's time for a pre dinner snooze cos I wore myself out at the groomers today. Have a lovely evening, hope you manage to snag some decent muggings, stay warm and snuggly. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. You must have missed the picture of Sparkle, she is about the size of a small ferrets head and I am sure she is all little bones and not worth the effort. I was reading that the residents of St Kilda in the 1800's used to eat lots of puffins and puffin eggs because there was so little meat in them so maybe 100 boney tiny hamsters would equal a snack urrggg. Are you jealous because those little ones get all the cuddles and ohhs and arrrs, I think you are, that's what it is, oh Daisy you know you are the best, how many pressies did Santa Paws bring to you? It has been cold here, not icy until we went into Luton this morning, we thought being on a hill it would be colder but it wasn't so. Not swimming weather or take your coat off weather, Holly must have woofer in places you don't as I seem to remember your coats needing altering before, you need someone to sew you little padding to put in strategic places then you would be alright. Keep warm, Sparkle has gone home now and Daisy Girl is going to a New Years Eve party and is "going to stay up until after midnight" hope you don't get too many pops and bangs, stay safe. xxxxxx
