Lots of Sun!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here with you again!

It has been a super day today, we were out early this morning 'cos Old Two Legs had to find a new place to park the car.

The council have dug up the lane that leads to the car park so they can lay a new covering of tarmac. Now that means we have to find a new car park and OTL has found an 'Overflow' car park across the other side of the park. That means a diversion through the village!

Miss April has an appointment made with the vet for Friday afternoon. She needs a new stock of medicine and the vet wants to give her the once over. Miss May will be going with her to give her support and we have told them to watch out for those sharp needle thing the vet likes waving about!

OTL has been working on the Tax Return today, it's a job he hates and tries to off load it to the accountant but he still has to supply more information than the accountant has. Poor OTL he just hates anything to do with accounts and book keeping!

Down on the beach at lunchtime Holly and I spotted a ship heading towards the river Medway and we were discussing what it was.

Fred and Wendy were complaining that they couldn't see the ship and said that we were lucky to have longer legs than them!

OTL took a 'Ferret Level' photo from a slab of concrete just to show what they could see!

A 'Ferret Level' view!
Holly said that they shouldn't worry 'cos she could tell them all about the ship!

You don't see much from this height!
The ship came steaming up the estuary and we decided it was one of those 'Balast' ships that suck up the sand or stones off the sea bed.

Anyone want some stones?
When we got to the bench we had a rest for five minutes and Freddy decided to crawl into the ferret bag for a small snooze!

This the life!
Miss Wendy decided to sit on OTL's lap and make the best of the shade. She reckons that watching to world go past from that height was just the best, except when she climbs onto OTL's shoulder!

You can see for miles up here!
A little while later Freddy poked his head out of the bag and declared that he was 'Ready to Go'!

OK, I'm ready, let's go!
Both ferrets walked back to the car and enjoyed a cooling slurp of water from the water bowl. Holly and I let them go first then when they got back in their cage we dived in!

Not sure what OTL has tonight but you can guarantee that we will have a nibble of whatever it is!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
