Eric does a John Wayne impression!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de (No Nuts) Ferret!

Well, what a day it was yesterday!

Young Eric came back all sleepy and snoozy. Old Two Legs put him in the 'Holiday Cage' overnight and he managed a couple of poos and tossed his food bowl across the cage!

Situation Normal!

This morning when OTL went in to see him he was awake, still a bit dozy, but as soon as OTL opened the door Eric was out onto OTL's hands giving them a good 'Pleased to see you' lick!

OTL decided to put him back with Miss May and as soon as they met under the blanket, they both started to lick each others face!

'A Ferret Welcome Home'!

OTL decided that Eric should stay indoors until the weekend and only if he is OK will he get a walk out on the beach! So, today Miss May went out on her own, which didn't please Eric 'cos he started to rattle on the cage door!

Down on the beach there were some odd looking clouds in the sky, all sort of 'Wavy'!

Haven't seen that before!
May wasn't interested, all she wanted to do was to have a roll in the Sea Kale, again!

Luxury pure Luxury!
No, OTL didn't tell her off!

Back home Eric was out rampaging around the house, as normal, he was chasing May as well and dooking all the time, so we reckon he was OK!

Lunchtime came and so did the rain, all cold and wet, not my sort of walking weather!

Nor was it Ferret Walking Weather either and both Fred and Wendy stayed tucked up in bed snoozing the day away!

Holly and I got back home and got a good rub down with our Doggy Towel and headed for bed!

We're glad to see that Izzy has got some Puppy Sitters for when she needs a snooze. Poor Hamish, he just doesn't understand what is happening, it's a male thing! No real interest until they can play Fetch or pawball!

We are going to watch out for the cold windy weather, down here on the news they were talking about 'Thunder Snow' same as a thunder storm but with snow instead.

The good thing is that it will all clear up by Saturday when The Missus has her Master Class at the village hall.

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the seaside. I was very pleased to hear about Eric, I hope he continues to do well, sounds as though he's not really missing his bits that much. Good to hear that Miss May has taken over the nursing duties and is giving him licks and snuggling with him. Now I had to go to the Vet College late last night cos I didn't feel well and I was dirty dick. The looked at my tummy thru a scan thing and told my mum that my tum was full of wind, my mum already knew that on account of me burping a chuffing and my tummy gurgling. Anyway, I got stabbed with a needle and sent home. My mum thought I was alright this morning, then just after lunchtime my tummy started making noises again so off we went to our normal vets. I got lots of cuddles, then I got my blood drained again, do you know I think there must be a national shortage of woofer blood. I got stabbed again, 3 times and I've got dustbin lid size tablets to take from tomorrow. It seems I've got a dose of pancreatitis again. They did offer to keep me there but seems they didn't offer any cash so my mum brought me home. I've had lots of cuddles and snoozes on the sofa with my mum and I haven't burped or chuffed and my tum seems to be quiet so paws crossed that I don't have to go again until next week for a check up. Actually with all this rain we've had today I'm quite glad about staying in and resting. I bet Freddie and Wendy breathed a huge sigh of relief when you went out without them lunchtime. That rain is cold and WET. So how comes Miss May doesn't get told off for rolling in sniffs then? Is that ferretism? I think you and Holly chops need to sit OTL down and have a word. Daisy, it wouldn't dare snow on masterclass day, Mrs TM would have something to say if it did. Have a good evening all, stay warm, dry and snuggly and hope little Eric continues to do well. Enjoy any muggings and think of me on very short rations at the moment. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (brave soldier) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Pleased of the report about Eric, he is made of tough stuff by the sounds of it and May welcomed him home this morning so that is very good. Pity Fred and Wendy couldn't go out this afternoon but I bet you wished they had gone in the place of you and Holly, it was not very nice. We went to the seaside today, it rained all the way there and we had lunch in a cafe and coffee in a coffee bar with our friend that we met there. Then we drove home in the darkened afternoon with horrible rain beating down on us. Put the house lights on and drew the curtains so I don't know when it snowed but when I looked out at 6-30 pm it was 2" of white. I have seen on Facebook that a bus was sideways in Prince Charles Avenue but didn't go and look, also someone abandoned their car trying to get home from Rochester. Tomorrow I am supposed to go out for lunch at Dockside but my friend and I are going to make ourselves sandwiches and spend 59 minutes on the phone, if we still have more to say then we will have another 59 minutes. Take care tomorrow when you are forced to go out and get some air perhaps you could persuade OTL to let you walk you around the garden for half an hour. Hope little Archie is feeling better, you all take care of each other and I shall send you the promised photo of the seaside on TM's Messenger tomorrow! xxxxxx
