The North Wind Doth Blow.........

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It was terribly windy this morning, it came roaring off the North Sea and while the rain stayed away, the wind brought the cold!

It was so cold that Old Two Legs decided that Wendy and Freddy should stay in bed while Miss May and Eric should do the early morning walk.

Just feel the Wind Chill!
To start off with young Eric decided he wanted to walk down to the beach and wriggled and wriggled until OTL put him down. Then he rushed off to the grass and had a wee! Then it was back to OTL's arms where it was warm and cuddly!

We didn't go down to the beach 'cos of the wind but we headed back up the grass path and back to the car.

Well, Eric and May enjoyed the early morning run but decided that they would rather have had the midday run but as they were up and bouncing off the cage bars and chasing OTL around the office, they paid the price!

Midday the sun came out and although OTL had to wake them, Fred and Wendy were up for a run.

We took the grass path again and didn't bother with the beach, which, for Mr Freddy was good 'cos that means he can enjoy some new sniffs!

I like these sniffs,, and the slugs!
Miss Wendy said that he was 'Lowering the tone' and she refused to stick her nose in the vegetation 'cos she said it was full of Dog Wee!

Personally, I don't know what's wrong with that!

There is just no taking him anywhere and, I'm certainly not sticking my nose in there!
The wind was still howling in off the sea and it was almost as cold as this morning!

We didn't hang about too long and soon we were back to the warm of the car!

An afternoon of snoozing under OTL's desk and a woof at the postman to follow, wot a way to spend the afternoon!

Life don't get much better!

See you tomorrow and don't forget, it's Friday tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Well Daisy it was certainly windy and chilly here. I went on my walk and decided I'd rather be curled up in the warm at home. My mum went off to look at a car so I stayed home and guarded. I went up the shop this afternoon to see my friend Brenda and get a treat but it was really cold again. I've curled up and watched Star Trek with my boy for the rest of the afternoon. I feel sorry for Miss May and Eric going out first thing this morning. Loved the pictures today. Hope you enjoyed your snoozes under OTLs desk. Is Mrs TM still suffering from jet lag? Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. It has been really chilly but no rain, this morning we headed for Iceland, no passport needed and a nice big trolley to push around. We hadn't been there this year so the trolley was full and now the freezer is full up, I also stocked up with mini chocolate eggs of all sorts and coloured eggs that light up ready for Easter at the seaside. I think the afternoon walking shift sounds better, it gives the day a chance to wake up and get going and the little ones don't have extra coats like you. Today you were very clever to keep off the beach afterall the beach is for summertime not for delicate little souls to ponder about on. Hope Archie's mum finds a car, she is going to need it for visiting you, how is your washing machine living up to the strain of all that washing, oh also what has happened to the bird box? Tomorrow sounds more reasonable so maybe you can all have a bit of fun, keep warm this evening and I hope you find some nice treats. xxxxxx
