Dry! I'm Dry and there is no chance of me getting Wet!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, today it has been a lot cooler than yesterday, so we took Wendy and Freddy out first thing this morning. They had a run down to the beach and enjoyed a dig in the sand and then trotted all the way back to the car!

Of course, when they got home, it was such an effort trying to stay awake!

And who is sleeping in my bed?
Old Two Legs has been leaving a tray full of water in the shower with some squeaky balls floating on top. First Eric and then Freddy had fun 'Rescuing' the balls and storing them in The Missuses work room.

Once they were all back in their cages, OTL found one of them had pinched the grid on the waste pipe in the shower and they are refusing to tell OTL where they stored it!

Lunchtime we decided to take May and Eric down to the beach 'cos the temperature had dropped down to a sensible level that wouldn't be any problem for ferrets!

When we got down to the beach, there was no water, I mean nuffin'!

W
Eric and May went down to the rock pools and had a little paddle but OTL wouldn't let me do the same 'cos he reckons I would have a roll instead of a paddle.

As if!

Hey! Woofers! Watch me get my paws wet!
May and Eric had fun rolling on the sand and paddling in the rock pools!

Come on, let's go up to the Sea Wall!
I was not happy about the lack of water, I mean, I've had a swim every day and I had a great time but today, nuffin'!

Holly wasn't any help, laughing all over her chops!

Look! No Water!
Her humour is not really welcome!

Not a wave to be seen!
Last night there was a storm and loads of water fell down. When we got to the beach May noticed just how much the Sea Kale had grown and of course, that was a good excuse to have a roll!

Just look at the size of it!
There was one of the 'Volunteers' riding around on the grass cutter thingy cutting down all the weeds.

Well, it keeps them out of trouble!
Brrrm, Brrrm!
Back home OTL has been fiddling about with the telescope trying to get it all set up for Equatorial Polar Alignment!

Well, it keeps him out of trouble!

I don't think that we will be star gazing tonight 'cos there is too much cloud but the weather forecast says that maybe tomorrow there will be clear skies!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the seaside with no sea. It's been cooler here as well today, it did rain loads during the night and was still raining when I was playing hop and whizz at 4 this morning. I reckon that's where your sea went, it dropped over where I live, don't worry it's probably rolling back down towards where you live by now. I had a smashing time this morning with the frogs, I lost count of them, well to be honest, I can't count to very many but my mum says there were lots and they were all round the garden. My mum wasn't very pleased though cos she knows I won't come in and then she had to come out and carry me in, then she moans cos she got wet and moans cos she'll be late for work and moans and moans........... I wonder where them sneaky ferrets have hid the thingy from the shower, perhaps it will turn up on the front of one of Mrs TM's mixed media thingys, are you sure she didn't nick it? You know these Wimmin TL's are quite sneaky about things they can blame on us 4L's. I presume that's Freddy snoozing on your bed again, watch him Daisy, watch him!!! Good to hear that you all had fun anyways. This scope thingy of OTL's sounds like a lot of work, I mean, if he really wants to see stars he can just tell Mrs TM her cooking isn't very good, less dosh spent and instant stars. Loved the pictures today. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (I'm a froggy) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. You have completely lost me on this star thingy, Michael has a big book called Hubble all about the things you see but I know nothing, like looking at things on the ground. Have you found the shower thingy, I suppose you and Holly are the wrong sort of doggie to be able to find it. If it is in the crafty room you stand as much chance as flying to the moon. I shall watch the tutorials with extra vigour and look forward to seeing how to make the most of taps, drains, bottle tops etc. etc.! Hope the sea has come back, I wasn't near the sea, do you want me to ask Harry if he has the sea in Ferring? We are home now but saw lots of Soldiers in red uniforms being looked after by hand maidens, they went along the rows giving sips of water from metal mugs. Archie is having fun with frogs but yours seem to have disappeared or you aren't telling us. xxxxxx
