I was Tricked!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again.

Today has been a 'Gentle Day' here in Godwin Towers! For a start the missus didn't have anything to do with crafting up at the village hall, tomorrow yes, today, no!

That means she sleeps in and poor Holly and I get kicked out of the bed when we should be cuddling Old Two Legs and taking over the bed!

Down on the beach we met up with the Two Bob Dogs, that is Marley and Dylan and just like soppy puppies, they wanted to play! Dylan tried to get Holly to go for an 'explore' in the mud!

I don't do, wet or mud or messy stuff that even looks wet!
Marley chased me up the beach saying he wanted to have a game of 'chase'. Now I've seen the way he plays chase, normally the other woofer ends up on his back with his paws in the air as Marley tramples all over him!

Come on, lets play chase!
There was no way I was going to end up as a trampled woofer!

What with all the running around we sort of lost Eric on the way back. It was a good job OTL was watching him 'cos he had dived under a clump of grass and was almost hidden!

Hey! There is someone missing!
It was Eric who pointed out the old sailing ship on the horizon. It was the Bap Union a 'four master' from Peru and it is classed as a 'Military Ship'!

Now I know that Peru isn't the biggest navy in the world but using sail and cannon pinched from Black Beards old ship isn't exactly current technology!

This is the Bap Union moored up off Herne Bay.

This is a picture from the Internetty!

Lunchtime was a bit embarrassing, you see OTL was keeping a close eye on me as we got near the water and before I could get a run on and dive into the water, he slipped the lead on me!

This is humiliating!
I was restricted to sniffing only!

Now, today is Michael's birthday and we have composed a special song just for him.

So.

All together, after nine!

One, Five, Nine!

Happy Birthday Toooooo Yoooooo!
Big Sniffs and a Pooo!
Anuver Birthday for Michael!
Happy Sniffin' Tooo Yooooooooooo!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Afternoon little maties. Wow wot lovely pictures today. I'm glad to hear you found little Eric, wot is it with these little things that they like to hide or run off. Now this just isn't on, Mrs TM, just cos you ain't going off sploshing the glue don't mean to say you can kick Daisy and Holly off the bed and stop them snuggling with OTL. Looks like you had better weather than we did. It's rained for pretty much the whole day and my mum tried to make me go out for a walk, I stopped on the path, then she pulled me onto the street, I said I didn't want to go, she managed to get me to walk a couple of yards then I turned round and headed for home, then she tried to get me to walk in the other direction, I met up with my woofer mate Buddy, he don't like the rain either and his TL was making him go out and get wet, well I put my paw down and I refused to go any further. Wot is it with these TL's, don't they know that rain is WET! I don't do WET! Anyways, happy birthday to Michael and wot a lovely song you've made up. Hope you have a lovely evening with plenty of muggings, I'm off to bed early because I'll be on guard duty in the morning. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. First of all sorry that I am late, we had to get dressed up yesterday to go to Margarets' for dinner and I have only just looked to see Sundays Diary finding that I hadn't seen yesterdays, sorry.
Michael liked your song and we imagined you all lined up singing it, thank you xx. Somehow Daisy going in for a dip is not the same as being trampled on in the mud by a big woofer, I can understand that! Hope TM enjoyed her lay in after kicking you and Holly out, how could she, had I been you I would have got that turbo charged thing out and done a bit of clearing up, that would have been fun. A different boat today and an internetty one looked pretty with all the flags on, perhaps it had got lost. On the subject of lost, it is just as well that young Eric had a harness on or he would have completely disappeared. Michael loved his special birthday card that TM made him, most of his cards featured beer, one had a man with a glass of beer and said he was limiting himself to just one! The glass was almost as big as the plasterers bath.
    xxxxxx
