I'm missing out!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Well, here I am on my second day of restricted action. Like, I'm not allowed to run or jump and the thought of a good swim is out of the question!

Holly Chops on the other paw is allowed loads of fun and the ferrets are joining in as well!

Mind you, all I got this morning is a slow wander around the football pitch behind the house, not very exciting at all!

It wasn't very sunny to begin with and even Holly said it was cloudy down on the beach!

It can only get better!
Miss May and Eric de Ferret enjoyed themselves by digging a long trench in the sand. May said she prefers digging when it's cloudy 'cos she doesn't get too hot!

'ere! I've got sand up my nose!
Back home Old Two Legs is trying to convince himself to get an Electric Grooming Clipper so that he can give Holly and me a haircut in a couple of weeks. Now don't get me wrong and we know they have put up their prices three times in the last three visits but we don't want to end up with a haircut like wot OTL does on his head.

A Number One all over!

Mind you, if he gets it wrong, we can always grow some more hair and he can have another go until he gets it right!

Miss Wendy found the Ferretone bottle when she was out having her 'Rampage' around the house. It was difficult to get her away from the bottle 'cos the stuff kept on dribbling out and she couldn't stop licking it from the cap!

This is a good game!
Lunchtime the sun came out and I had another walk around the football pitch..........BOOORING!

Holly enjoyed the walk down on the Sea Wall and said 'Hello' to some soppy Bozo who came rushing up, tongue lolling about and then he fell flat on his nose in front of her!

Oh! Please, you don't have any idea how to treat a girl!
OTL got all interested in the flowers in the hedgerow 'cos of the colour but the sun was high in the sky and it made the colours look all washed out!

Wot he needs is an ND Filter!
Holly said it wasn't the same, not having me along to share a sniff with. I know what she means, you really need two noses to fully appreciate the sniff!

It's not the same!
You will be please to know that I have been taking my medicine like a good girl and I was only spotted once doing the 'Limp', claws crossed, it's getting better!

Auntie Jeanette, Izzy's Mum knows all about limping as well 'cos she has got to see the Two Leg Vet and maybe have some work done in the hospital, so it's claws crossed all around for her!

We have been looking at the clippers again, and see the prices vary from £6 right up to £400! Mind you, OTL says we have a lawn mower in the shed we don't use now and maybe that will do the job!

Not on his Nelly!

Mind you, two haircut's and that will pay for the cutter, yeah, that's the way to look at it!

You can tell it's getting serious 'cos OTL has been looking on YooToob at films of doggies getting washed and clipped!

See you all tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Afternoon little maties. Ohh Daisy, I'm so sad for you. I know wot it's like to have restricted fun but hopefully it will soon sort out and you can be back swimming and rolling in seaside sniffs. Mind there must be some interesting sniffs in the field. Glad to hear you're taking your tablets like a good brave woofer. I bet you were missed down on the beach today. Wot a daft woofer, fancy falling on his nose in front of Miss Holly chops, he's got no chance with her. Glad Miss May enjoyed her dig. Miss Wendy looks like she's getting extra treats. I think OTL is very sensible getting some clippers, I think they're taking the mickey at the grooming place. It's a shame you don't live near here cos Caroline who clips me would be a lot cheaper than wot OTL is paying. My mum has some clippers cos she used to clip me until I got too big for her to manage, cos I won't keep still. Tell OTL my mum reckons get a mid range priced set. Some of the cheap ones are not very good at all, they can pull rather than cut. Some of the dearer ones are good but you have to send the heads off to be resharpened every so often. Mind you should get quite a few cuts before you'd need to send them off. My mum reckons OTL will do just as good a job as the groomers. He should start at the back of the neck then head down towards your tail, making sure he doesn't cut yer tail off though. I hope Izzy's mum gets better with her leg soon and doesn't need to go into hospital. Did you get Holly chops to do they typing today? You don't want to tire your paw out, you could dictate and help Holly with the spelling. Loved the photos today. Hope you're getting good scoff cos you need it to make a good recovery. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Yo again little maties. I've got some exciting news, it might cheer you up a bit Daisy. You know my friend Brenda, the lady wot works with my mum and gives me treats and cuddles, well, she might be getting woofer cuddles tonight. My neighbour Barbara is driving down to Gloucester tonight to bring home a little woofer called Princess, she's a little yorkie and her owners have to go into a home and the home won't let Princess go in as well, so Princess is going to live with Brenda now. I've got my paws crossed that it all goes well this time and with a bit of luck I'll get to meet Princess during the next few days. Princess will have a lovely forever home and Brenda will get all the woofer cuddles she wants. Just thought I'd let you know. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch xxxxxxxxx

  3. Latest pup date: Hi little maties. Well Brenda didn't get Princess because when my neighbour got down to Gloucester, the people had changed their minds about rehoming her but my neighbour found another little Yorkie called Milly down in Kent and drove straight down there. So last night/early this morning, Miss Milly arrived at Brenda's house to stay forever. My mum met Miss Milly this morning and I'll be meeting Miss Milly on my walks sometime over the next few days. Love from little Arch xxxxxxxx
