Sunday is for Tourists!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you!

Wot a fun day it's been!

First of all The Missus was up the village hall again with her ladies  and the glue pot!

We got an early morning run on the beach and the ferrets got a chance to play 'Chase' along the Sea Wall!

Shift yer tail I'm catching you up!
The morning was spent snoozing while Old Two Legs got stuck into the chores!

Before we knew it, lunchtime had arrived and we were back down the beach again.

Being a Sunday and as it was sunny, we parked up next to the football pitch 'cos our normal car park would be full of tourists!

I noticed that the white lines had been drawn on the grass and although we didn't bring a ball with us, I reckoned we could have had a game of football!

Come on! I'll be in goal!
The sun was shining and the tide was in, so, you know happened next!

'ere, my periscope has gone wonky!
You know you just can't have a wonky periscope when you go swimming!

OTL had left the towel in the car so I had to make do with a dry grass to roll in and dry my back!

Daisy, get up there is someone coming!
I don't know why Holly gets all embarrassed when I have a roll, I mean, it's so much fun!

Little Amber came trotting along as I was just finishing my roll. She woofer at OTL, so that demanded a woof from both Holly and I, I mean, no one woofs at OTL without our permission!

OK, OK, it was only a little woof!
Amber is all of nine months old, so we let her off this time!

We got taken home and OTL went off to the hall to take a picture of the ladies who had been awarded a 'Certificate of Appreciation' by the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue for the very kind donation from the 'Card 'N' Thong' they ran earlier this year!

Dead smart it looked as well and although we didn't get all the ladies in the picture they all know just how much their kindness and generosity is appreciated by all the ferrets at the rescue.

....and they even hid the Glue Pot!
Just in case you can't read the words, OTL took a close up of the 'Certificate of Appreciation'.

Dead smart or wot!
Of course, Eric de Ferret just had to have a cuddle with Auntie Di who reckons he is the smartest ferret she has ever seen!

You can't beat a cuddle with your Favourite Ferret!
So, that was our day and now we can look forward to a snooze on the sofa and a raw carrot to nibble!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties, now how come you didn't get in on the picture up at the hall? Loved the pictures today, you look like you're really enjoying that roll in the grass. Glad you managed a dip. That cheeky little woofer will know not to woof at OTL in future. My mum went off to a craft show this morning and met up with Marianne and Steve, she was gone ages and I though perhaps she needed a lorry to bring home the bits she bought. I had a good sniff thru them all to make sure they met with my approval. She's been playing inking and stamping. No glue or glitter just yet. Of course I was busy guarding while she was off gallivanting and munching bacon rolls ........... cheek ....... I didn't get so much as a sniff. Now I like a game of football so when I get down next, I'll bring my football. Enjoy your evening with your paws up. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. It is what Sundays are about a dip, a roll and a a woof, shame you didn't get any bacon roll but I had one yesterday so it must be your turn today. Archies mum out buying goodies but nothing to interest him, she did buy a crafty stamp called Archie though. Well done the Ladies of the craft group and Harrietsham really appreciate the money to help them in their quest. Hope your periscope is more in order next time, there must be an error in its trimming which will be realigned next time. How is the turbo charged broomstick, is TM pleased with it? xxxxxx
