Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!
I tell you wot, this tidying up thing is a right pain in the tail! We have been helping Old Two Legs get rid of all the crumbs and bits of grass and twigs and sand and garden stuff that hangs on our coats after a good rampage around the garden chasing the birdies!
We have worn out the jet powered vacuum cleaner, twice! It got too hot and fainted twice!
The electric carpet sweeper is worn out, well the battery is and it takes such a long time to charge it back up again!
The ferrets haven't helped much. As soon as we find the stash they hid under the sofa they moved it to under the table! Just to be extra helpful. the second set of ferrets found the stash under the table and moved it to under the sofa!
Holly has been going around and finding the stash and eating it so the ferrets can't move it again. Mind you, it was a bit of a game finding the little extra stash in the crate full of Ping Pong Balls that Eric loves swimming in!
Down on the beach we were approached by six Mini Two Legs who wanted to stroke the ferrets and one asked if I remember his sister stroking the ferrets last weekend!
Seems like we are getting a name down here, even OTL is known as 'The Ferret Man'!
This afternoon we had a break and watched a little TV while OTL gave Holly and me a good brush all over! It was great 'cos at the end we got some Doggy Choc Buttons that have been hiding in a box for just ages! They have now almost all gone!
Auntie Sheila will be coming over to let us out into the garden tomorrow while OTL picks up The Missus and her mate from the airport. We have promised not to make too much of a mess before TM gets back!
So, all this vacuuming and dusting has made me sneeze and I had to go up on the bed for a snooze, just to get over it!
Well, that's my excuse anyway!
Just loved Archie Babes singing tale! Brilliant! That will teach them to wimp on about 'Jet Lag' when there are balls to chase and Flogs to Hunt!
Another thing, OTL says that there is no Menswold, it's always been a Womenswold and don't the men know it!
See you tomorrow!
