How many colours in a Rainbow?

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Now, we have been so busy today. We were up early this morning, mainly 'cos Holly Chops had a dream where she thought someone was trying to break in the house so she sprang into 'Woof Off' mode!

There wasn't anyone really and Old Two Legs had to get up and have a look out the window and go with Holly downstairs to the front door which Holly thought had been ripped off it's hinges!

It was all quiet, so back to bed we all went but at four in the morning we didn't go back to sleep and instead we all took it in turn to tell jokes!

We were out early for our walk and it was a good job we were 'cos there was a storm cloud chasing a rainbow down the River Thames.

Now normally there are reckoned to be seven colours in a rainbow but, as Holly suggested, there were two others, Infra Red and Ultra Violet!

Hey says OTL, I've got an Infra Red camera and so he tried to catch it by clicking away when ever the rainbow got brighter!

Mmm, not exactly in your eye colours!
We carried on walking back to the car and the rain started to drip down and the rainbow came up a bit brighter and closer.

Still not mind blowingly interesting!
Further on, just around the corner from the car park it looked a lot closer.

On the left of the rainbow you can see a band.
If you look on the left of the rainbow you can see the red band and after that there is a darker band, Infra Red?

On the right of the colours you can see violet but we can't see anything else.

As a bonus, there is a second rainbow forming further to the right.

Exciting stuff hey?

We got home just in time for a delivery of stuff that had to be delivered today, so we all piled into the car and set off to South London.

After delivering it all we headed back home but stopped off at Purley Way where there is a massive grassy area next to what used to be Croydon Airport. OTL reckons he can remember watching the planes landing and taking off. Holly was interested in that and asked if the planes had two wings and a canvas covering over the fuselage and wings!

It surprised Holly when OTL said that he could remember some planes like that but mostly they were aluminium!

You know OTL is really old!

Crispy Chicken again today, OTL got the chicken bits out of the freezer last night!

We were glad to see that Archie Babe still has his butt!

Why do you have to give an arm full of blood before you have an operation? Can't be much good those doctors, our vets don't need spare blood, they just dive in and out and it's all finished in no time!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
