A Ferrety Day Today!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's another sort of grey day today, no blue skies, no wind and not very cold!

There were no waves either!

Is there anyone out there?
There were no ships to be seen and the only other things we saw were sea gulls resting on the breakwater waiting for the tide to go out so they could get their breakfast!

Don't worry lads, it won't be long!
Holly and I walked along the Sea Wall looking for new sniffs but even there it was rather sniffless!

This rain washes all the good sniffs away!
Down on the beach we had our normal race up and down the beach, Holly spotted something in the distance and said it looked like a woofer but when it got closer we saw it was a Two Legs 'Speed Walking', they did look so silly wiggling along!

Do you think they practise that at home in front of a mirror?
Back home we got back on the bed for our snooze while the ferret cages were cleaned and of course, the ferrets had their morning rampage around the house.

After a breakfast of Brambles Biscuits, young Eric decided that he would have a game with the cat tease and do some diving in and out of the bags that  were on the floor!

OK, that's the bags sorted, now, where is that Nargle?
It wasn't long before he found the cat tease 'cos Old Two Legs was waving about over his head!

OK, I've killed it, now, what's next?
Miss May, who is a little older than Eric had her rampage but left the cat tease in preference to the Brambles Biscuits which she spent time hiding in the internal folds of the sofa!

After all that hard work she just had to have a little snooze, on OTL's lap!

Warm and safe on OTL's lap!
Next out for a run was Freddy and Miss Wendy. Now Freddy is more interested in getting into trouble and he spends his time 'Rescuing' his squeaky toys and hiding them in The Missuses card room among all the boxes on the shelves!

'ere! You got my Squeaky?
While Freddy was sorting his 'Babies' out, Miss Wendy was attacking the cat tease, which she just loves!
She chases it around in circles until she gets too dizzy and falls over! Then she tries to chew through the string or bite the ball, making holes with her teeth.

You can see the damage that has been done and also just look at those teeth!

This is how you kill a Nargle!
Poor old Freddy, all this sorting out makes him a little tired and soon we find him 'resting' in the hall way, waiting for OTL to take him and Wendy up to bed!

It right wears you out!
You know it is such a busy time here, no wonder we all need a snooze in the afternoon!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties, wot an interesting day you've all had and wot smashing photos of you all. I expect Eric is doing the housework to stay in Mrs TM's good books and clearing up the bags helps her out. Poor Freddy, he did look worn out after he'd sorted out all his babies. Miss May looks right comfie on OTL's lap and Miss Wendy looks very ferocious. It's been freezing here today, I've spent most of the day snoozing on the new throw my mum bought this morning, it's lovely and soft and it keeps me very warm, don't think my mum was too impressed when she caught me raking it into a nice soft mound to have my snooze on though. It's been so cold it could freeze a woofers tail off. My boy is going to work all night again tonight so he will be home at 6 in the morning which means I'll be in charge and on guard when my mum goes to work until he gets home. My mum isn't very happy cos where he works, so tealeaves have been smashing a door and stealing stuff a couple of nights. My mum reckons they should get a couple of ferocious woofers to guard in the shop, I reckon with her teef, Miss Wendy could sink them into people who do naughty things. I don't think I'll volunteer to go with him cos that would mean there would be no one to guard our house. I couldn't possibly leave all my toys unguarded now could I. Has OTL's beard recovered from getting caught in his zip? I'm keeping my paws crossed that it warms up a bit here tomorrow. Hope you all have a lovely evening with plenty of muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. That looks like my kinda day, except of course chasing nargles and hiding my food in the sofa apart from that, I am wih you. The beach looked a bit dreary and misty, those speed walkers have to pace at a certain speed and must not stop for anything but they do look funny. They are beautiful pictures of you all, really lovely to see, well done to the chief photographer. Now you know where the food is if you get a bit hungary except I don't suppose you are slim enough to get to the Brambles biscuits, Holly certainly isn't (shhh, don't upset her by telling her what I said). Your house is a ferret adventure playground, really lovely to hear about their antics. Have a lovely Friday, we are busy planning on going out in the van, so looking forward to it. xxxxxx
