And we thought it was the Whisky!

Hi Woofers!

It's us here, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Now, you know that Old Two Legs is back to taking the ferrets out for a walk, morning and lunchtime? Well, this morning it was Monty and Miss Wendy's turn to go out for the morning walk. Normally it is much cooler in the morning so the ferrets don't get too warm!

OTL was getting Monty and Wendy ready and noticed that Wendy was acting sort of 'funny'. OTL, being and experienced animal owner realised straight away that Wendy had a Ferret Kibble Biscuit jambed between her upper teeth and couldn't break it up or chew it.

It was stuck.

OTL picked her up and gently opened her mouth, stuck his finger inside her mouth and levered the biscuit, from the back to the front of her mouth.

Out came the biscuit and Wendy immediately grabbed it again, crunched down, shattered the biscuit and then proceeded to eat all the crumbs!

The only thing was, Miss Wendy had done a little mini 'Fear Fart' which means she had to have her butt washed by OTL before she could go out!

Out she went and had a great time bounding about across the football field!

My Butt is still damp!
Monty discovered some holes that the rabbits have started to dig and of course he just had to 'Investigate' every one, plus he had to help by digging them just a little deeper!

Hellooooo! Is there anyone there?
Of course, the rabbits had been long gone by the time he found the holes, I mean, can you see a rabbit hanging around when Holly and I were sniffing around?

Lunchtime it was Eric and Mays turn and although it was a little warmer it was still good enough for a little rampage!

They both investigated the rabbit holes but decided to go off hunting rabbit poo!

Where have all the Rabbits Gone?
Miss May managed to get a lift down to the sea shore and a carry half of the way back but as she is getting to be a grown up ferret we understand she needs a lift every so often!

Eric sees her getting picked up and immediately rushes up to OTL for a carry as well but quickly gets fed up and scrabbles to get down again!

OK, can I have a carry now?
Now, after all this walking and carrying we got back home for a bite to eat and a snooze while OTL headed off to the Optometrists for a checkup. You see his right eye has been giving his problems of late and he finally decided to get it sorted.

Well, he had his eyeballs checked, pushed, poked and had to wear a special set of glasses where they could change the lenses to see if things got any clearer!

In the end it was decided that his left eye was working as it should but there was some 'Fogging' in the right eye.

Now he will have to go back to the hospital where they did his cataracts and get his eyeball zapped with a laser gun to clear up the fogging.

All very 'Star Wars'!

We told OTL that his 'Misty Eye' was due to the whisky, so, now that has been proved wrong, he is going to order another bottle for the weekend!

It's a good job us woofers don't have to wear glasses, I mean, they would keep on falling off if we had our head in a rabbit hole!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Sounds like another fun day down south there. I went for a walk this morning, met up with Harvey and Monty, they're brothers and then along came Boris the bounce. I reckon Boris thinks he's tigger they way he bounces everywhere. I dragged my mum into the shop to see Brenda but she wasn't there, never mind, I got a cuddle from Richard but I still would have liked a cuddle with Brenda. My mum had to go shopping today, so I stayed home and guarded. Now do you know wot my daft mum did? Well, she grabbed the bags to put the shopping in and put them in the front of the car and off she went. When she got to the shops she picked up the bags then dropped them, out fell loads of Xmas decorations ........... she'd only picked up the wrong bags....... how daft is that, so she wasted good treat money on buying some bags to bring her shopping home .......... tsk.......... My boy is off tomorrow and me and my mum have got a couple of jobs lined up for him, first he needs to go out in the garden, if he can remember the way and help my mum put up some fencing along the top of the wooden fence, then he can cut the grass, I'm sure my mum will show him wot the lawnmower looks like and give him a quick driving lesson. He can have a rest after that for a little while then I'll think up some more jobs for him.
Sounds like OTL was very brave this morning putting his fingers in Miss Wendy's mouth with all them sharp teeth around. Hope the fear fart has dispelled, I'm sure it is quite unpleasant for a little while. Tell Monty he should never put his head down a hole, he can't see wot might be lurking, there might be a nargle hiding down there. Good to hear that May and Eric enjoyed their walk as well. Hope the force is with OTL when he goes to get his eye zapped. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (use the force) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. My that was a long comment from Archie, he is going to wear out his paws with all the typing, not so much Tennis Elbow but Typers Paw.
I think OTL needs a medal for putting his fingers in the lions, ummm ferrets mouth still he was able to dislodge it and Miss Wendy not wanting to waste it ate it up! Good girl. Clint Eastwood will be on hand to Play Misty for him, I bet TM remembers the film, until he gets zapped he will just have to play Clint.
Lovely pictures today and so pleased that the little ones managed to get outside to have some fun. We were going out today to find Green Men but Michael had to work, we recently joined a Facebook group and it is great fun and amazing how many Green Men and strange things in churches and other buildings. Archie is getting lots of cuddles so I do hope that beautiful Daisy and Holly are not being left out? xxxxxx
