Something Different!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

As you may have noticed, it's Friday!

Old Two Legs has had a lucky break, he managed to get the computer to do what he wanted it to do without without it falling over and pretending to die!

Mind you, there were moments of 'Re-naming' the computer!

I never knew a computer could have so many names!

This morning was just too dark for photos and the sun hadn't even got out of bed, never mind poking it's nose over the horizon!

Young Eric enjoys the dark, you see he is almost invisible in the dark 'cos his hair is black and very dark brown, so, all we see is a flash of black heading for our legs!

At lunchtime Monty and Wendy were out with us and there was no hiding in the grass and jumping out and shouting 'BOOO'!

Holly was getting all philosophical and questioning the existence of Nargles!

Holly reckons that as we have never seen a Nargle therefore it goes that there are no Nargles. If there are no Nargles then where did the name come from and why is it that so many times we hear everyone mention Nargles and on top of that, how do we know the spelling is correct?

It could be, if they exist, they are called Nargulls and that's the reason why we have never seen one 'cos we have been looking for Nargles!

I really don't do Fillysofficals so I just look interested and nod when she looks at me!

I've been thinking...................!
Now, while Holly has been doing her Fillysofficals, Wendy and Monty were having fun in the grass. OTL caught Wendy trying to get up the steps and falling back onto her tail!

There's never a ladder around when you need one!
It was lucky for her that OTL put his hand under her tail and gave her a lift up!

One the football field both ferrets just love a good run on the grass. Providing there are no woofers around, both ferrets think it is all great fun!

Hang on, I've got to get my breath back!
Tomorrow The Missus is up the village hall with the 'Girls' sloshing the glue and glitter. Now normally TM makes a Tea Cake the size of a tea tray and she never brings any home.

Now today she decided to make a sponge cake with cream and jam in the middle, well, that was the plan.

Holly reckons TM has been watching too many of those 'Bake Off' programs, you know the ones that seem to get 'Soggy Bottoms'!

So, determined not to get a soggy bottom, TM wound up the oven so you could melt iron in it!

In goes the sponge mix and off she goes to mess about on her mobile phone.

A little later the smoke alarm goes off and we all rush into the kitchen to view the sponge cake.

You will be pleased to know that there were no soggy bottoms. The tops didn't have any Duck Ponds but rather they looked like burnt out volcano's!

The bottoms were flat and about the same consistency of iron manhole covers!

Tomorrow TM will be taking some Tea Cake up to the hall!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret

  1. Yo maties. Well it's been quite a nice day but very chilly, we had our heating on for a little while. I was out in the garden when it was pitch black this morning, just before my mum went to work. Now Holly is very clever but she needs to have a think about thinking, you see, when I think, it gives me brainache so I try not to think too often, now I wouldn't like to see Holly get brainache cos I know she thinks a lot. Loved all the pictures today, good to see you all out in the sunshine. Glad to hear OTL has sorted out his computer, perhaps it's a nargle, ask Holly, she'll know. I've not seen a nargle but I've heard them when I've been out in the garden in the dark, they sound very big to me. Sorry to hear Mrs TM wasn't happy with her cakes, she's like my mum, my mum relies on the smoke alarm to tell her when the cooking is done. Shame OTL didn't get a picture of them. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some snacks, maybe a slice of TM's cake. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Oh what a pity that no light airy offering, she could Raffle todays offering or enter it for “Guess the name of the !!!!!!!! . Still they love her tea bread, she must have a little practice but not when she is messing about with the phone. Hope she has a lovely chatty day. You are going to need to stay in bed longer if you want to see the sunrise. We are in Appledore, it was nice and warm but now it has gone chilly. We usually have our evening meet in the toilet block in the winter but because of extra numbers the owners are moving their cars out of the garage and we are meeting in there. xxxxxx
