A Soggy Friday!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

After all that sunshine I thought that summer had really arrived, well that was until I listened to the weather forecast threatening snow soon!

We were up early this morning 'cos The Missus wanted the car to cart off all her boxes of glue and glitter up to the village hall. So, there we were at the crack of dawn being hurried along the sea front while above us the rain trickled down our collars!

We had a fast walk 'cos the rain was falling and we didn't like the idea of getting too wet!

This sniff is just too damp!
The council have been out cutting the grass and the rabbits have all been deprived of their hiddy holes!

The only problem is when the stay still, they are difficult to see 'cos they sort of blend in with the bracken!

So, it was that we missed the bunny that was standing perfectly still.

OTL somehow spotted the bunny and as soon as Holly and I passed, the bunny shot off with it's little white backside bouncing up and down!

I'm a Speedy Rabbit and you can't catch me!
So, we will be keeping a closer watch on the bracken for bunny rabbits with wobbly white backside!

While we were waiting for Old Two Legs to finish cleaning the cages, Holly was swatting up on the torque settings for the caravan wheels. She was also looking at all the information that there is stamped on the side wall! You have the diameter and the width then the build of the tread and tyre wall. Then there is the speed the tyre can go and and there is the date of manufacture as well!

Dead clever or wot?

Looking at the Owners Manual they give you the torque setting you must have the bolts that hold the wheel onto the brake drum!

Holly was well informed on all the details when we got into the tyre fitters!

She kept a close eye on what they were doing and also made sure the wheels were balanced so we don't get any vibration as we cruise the motorway heading off to our holiday!

So, without any problems we got the tyres fitted and then back home again.

Lunchtime we went for a walk with Eric, well, he was on his lead and harness while Holly and I were let off the lead for a rampage!

That didn't stop Eric from having his own rampage and he had a great time, even walking all the way back to the house down the path!

We left OTL to do his work, today it was the VAT payment, that always upsets OTL, then there is the paying of outstanding invoices, that makes him cry as well!

Not sure what is for dinner tonight but we will start by mugging OTL!

 See you all tomorrow!

 Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
