There's a storm coming in!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, what a change from last week, blue skies, wind and sunshine!

Now I don't mind the sunshine and the wind but freezing cold and horizontal rain just 'aint my bowl of scoff!

Now, we have been looking on the BBC Weather web site and Holly tells us that there is a storm heading our way. Now, normally we wouldn't get too upset 'cos being down here in the South East we tend to get the best weather. I mean, we haven't even had any snow while the rest of the world has been running around in snow ploughs!

Back to the storm, out there in the Atlantic there is a low pressure system heading our way and the MET Office have declared it to be a storm and they have named it.......ERIK!

OK, it's not the English spelling but it sounds the same!

We reckon that Erik is a great name for a storm and if our Eric is anything to go by, we had better get everything lashed down 'cos it will feel like a hurricane!

Eric has started to get a bit demanding, you see, after his and May's rampage in the morning, we let Monty and Wendy out for a rampage but Eric wants to get out of the cage and go on another rampage!

He climbs up onto the cage door and proceeds to give it a good rattle, in fact Old Two Legs reckons that if he keeps going, the door will open!

That means he gets to have another run around in the office, with the door shut, until Monty and Wendy want to get back in the cage for their morning snooze!

Lunchtime we left the noisy ferrets and headed off for a run along the sea shore.

It was Holly's turn to decide which way to go and off she went, chasing sniffs and rabbits!

Come on, this way, I can sniff sniffs!
OTL got all fillysoffical about a new day and spring flowering and all that, then he took some pictures of the rose hips that hadn't been eaten by the birds!

A Rose Hip and some Double Cream, super!
We passed a seat that a Two Leg family had put there in memory of Anthony, well, that's all there was on the cards hanging in little plastic bags.

Mind you, there was a bunch of twigs in the shape of a heart that had a funny sniff about it.

Come to think of it, it looks nothing like the lambs heart we used to get for dinner a few years ago!

No thanks, that sniff makes me sneeze!
Back home it was Doggy Scoff again but to be honest, I was that hungry I shovelled it down like it was going out of date!

Then I went after a teeth cleaning chew, but that's another story!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. It's been very windy here and the wind has been very cold. It's cold enough to cut your paws off. Some of my mums pots had blown over during the night and we had loads of bits of branches from trees wot live near here. The big sort out is still going on, more bags for the charity shops, more bags for the tip. I'm not happy, I've been laying on my bed while they sort out and I think they've both got it thru their heads, I ain't moving!!!! Mind every so often there's something interesting to stick my nose in and I've found some treasures and eaten some tags. They were both up early this morning cos my boy had to go to the doctors for his check up, he's got to go and give more blood in a couple of weeks cos they think they've found out wots wrong with him but they want to make sure because they're talking about nuking his thyroid. I don't like the sound of that and he ain't sleeping in my room if he's going to be glowing in the dark. We all went for a walk up the shop this afternoon so I could get my cuddle and treat from Brenda. My boy was laughing cos I was a woofer on a mission, I know the way and I don't hang about for anyone, they have to keep up with me. Once I'd seen Brenda, I was on a mission to get back home because that wind was really icy and I needed a poo, now I only like to do it in my own garden cos it's private and I don't do it in public, you just never know who's watching. I went past a moggy today wot arched it's back and swore and spat at me, now is that anyway to treat a woofer wot ain't interested in a flea ridden moggy?????? Loved the pictures today, that's a nice thought to put a bench for someone special. Sorry to hear about the doggie scoff and even sorrier to hear you were so hungry that you ate it. Come on Mrs TM and OTL, don't let Daisy and Holly starve. Sounds about right, a storm named after little Eric. Have a lovely evening all and hope there is something a bit more tasty for mugging. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Ah, the bench was a bit sad to see but really nice for those who arranged it. Love the picture of the rose hip so bright and shiny no wonder the birds go for them. It was very windy here today and when I came home at 4pm I needed the heated rear screen on, now I am going out this evening in the cold, not looking forward to it and a quiz to boot.
How sad that you needed to eat doggie scoff paws crossed there is better on the horizon. Have you found a safe place for the chew yet? Keep warm and a bit down wind and I await your next report. xxxxxx
