It all went 'Pop' again!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Well, not much has changed since yesterday, every time the Water Men mend the pipe, another bit goes pop and we are back to the beginning again.

Now, remember me telling you about the kettle going wrong? Guess wot?

This morning Old Two Legs had got up and wandered into the bathroom for a shower, the water was hot and under he went. He was soaping up all his important places with shower gel and generally enjoying the whole thing, that was until the water heater went pop and the hot water stopped being hot and turned into a stream of glaciated water to rain down upon his bald head!

Oh! Golly Gosh quoth OTL in his best South London language which included reference to the gods of showers!

Now, we are not saying that the low pressure in the water main caused the heating element to fail, but, coupled with the kettle failing we can only wonder!

Back to OTL.

So, having backed away from the jet of glaciated water, he then set about planning how to removed the mountain of shower gel soap bubbles from his person!

There he was with frothy bubbles dripping off his nose and other parts of his body!

Only one thing for it, take a big breath and walk back under the shower and do the quickest suds rinse in his life!

You should have heard his language!

You know, it took all day until four thirty for the water to get returned to normal!

Tomorrow we should have the new shower delivered and it will be another job for OTL!

Miss May and Eric came out for a walk at lunchtime and as normal, Eric spent nearly all of his time trying to get back into the bag but Miss May was running and rolling in the grass!

She does love a good roll in a sniff to round the day off!

So, in the end all has worked out right, The Missus will be up the hall tomorrow for some glue slapping, OTL will have to install a new shower and we will be looking forward to stretching out on the sofa for an afternoon of watching 'Game of Thrones' catchup!

Who knows, we will get OTL to take the camera out and record some more blossom!

Sorted!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Oh dear, poor OTL, now who knew our TL's had such a vast vocabulary and multi lingual too. Now I was telling my mum all about it and she is from East London originally and she reckons she knows exactly wot OTL uttered when his nice hot water turned into the glacial deluge. Now my mum has had a bit of news about the non existent anti scale cartridges wot she's trying to get hold of and they should be in the store by the end of this month, if not she says she's going to take the iron back and ask for someone to personally push it up an orifice of the buyer wot thought it would be a good idea to buy them but not the disposable consumables ........ my mum is in posh mode today, you might have guessed. Now we've just had a bloke with a very strong pikey accent knock at the door, so my mum opened the window, he reckons he's just come from new houses where they've sold the show house and the people don't want the furniture and does my mum want to buy any, he said the lady in the next road bought a dining room set, my mum said we've got no room and I did my best deep down in my boots woofing to let him know I'm guarding. A there are no new houses just near us and B, she don't buy from men in vans wot front up selling stuff. We expect to see something on crime watch in the coming weeks. Well that's my guarding done for a few hours. Glad to hear Miss May enjoyed her walk and roll today, shame on Eric sitting in the bag. Hope Mrs TM enjoys her glue flinging tomorrow and I hope the water is soon sorted. Just keeping my paws crossed that OTL didn't miss any bubbles on his head. Have a lovely evening all, hope there are some nice snackettes on offer later. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Things are not going alright in the world it seems on the electrical front, kettles, irons, showers, I blame it on Brexit myself, afterall they worked fine before we had all this turmoil! Let’s hope the pipe work gets sorted soon, it seems that the whole lot needs replacing probably quicker and cheaper than days and men hours doing bits and pieces. Hopefully the glue slapping brigade will bring supplies with them from Up Country so the tea and coffee can flow.
Poor OTL got a wake up call in the shower this morning and thankfully it wasn’t you with the ice bath, not a good idea. The rain was forecast for 3-30 pm and it was just right while we were out on a guided tour of Rochester but fortunately near the end and it was only a drizzle then back in the Visitors Centre for tea and cakes, unfortunately we had to climb two floors to get it after walking around for one and a half hours, we found out afterwards that there is a lift!
Hope the Enginering goes well tomorrow, there is no stopping that man with his skills maybe he could help the Water Board xxxxxx
