It's Dry for a change!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

What a super day it's been. No rain at all today, in fact it has been rather sunny and very August like!

We had a super walk along the sea front and as Eric had come along as well, we challenged him to a race!

Come on, the first down to the beach wins!
Of course, there was no way he could beat us and to be honest we didn't even expect him to try!

But it was fun winding him up!

Never mind a running race, how about a sniffing contest!
Knowing what a Super Sniffer he was we declined and ran off looking for our own sniffs!

Eric was having a great time in the long grass sniffing out all the Weasel sniffs and even found a couple of what he said were Stoats!

Bet you can't see me here in the grass!
Soon we ran out of long grass and headed towards the trees. Eric and I had a chat about Miss May and he said that she was off to the vet again tomorrow to get her yearly injection and she was taking Monty with her 'cos Old Two Legs was worried about his weight loss and didn't know if it was because Summer was here or there was something else!

Yeah, he has never been what you could call 'Cuddly'!
Lunchtime came and although there were clouds in the sky, it was still warm with a gentle breeze blowing.

There seem to be more ships than normal heading up the Thames.
Wendy and Monty came out for a run and we had a bit of a scare. While we all were looking out to sea counting ships, we heard the pounding of two woofers in full charge and out of the bushes came two greyhound woofers charging along at full speed.

Now there is nothing a greyhound loves, besides a rabbit, is a pair of ferrets for lunch! Now OTL knows this and like a flash was down and picked both ferrets up!

Lucky for us, there rushed off into the next group of bushes looking for rabbits and didn't see us or the ferrets!

What the Ferreting Heck was that?
We waited a while but they didn't come back and Wendy and Monty carried on ferreting around in the long grass, doing what ferrets do best, ferreting!

Lets hope Monty gets sorted tomorrow and OTL's credit card doesn't catch fire!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  2. Yo maties. Glad you had a nice sunny day, we did as well. Well Alfie has arrived and at the moment he's behaving well and obeying my house rules. Mind, we went for a walk this afternoon all together and horror of horrors, he did a poo IN THE STREET!!!!! I was so embarrassed, I mean, pooing is a private matter and should be done without an audience. He don't half pee lots when he's out on walks as well, my mum kept telling me to wait while Alfie cocked his leg up anything and everything, and she reckons I could pee for England when I walk but that Alfie knocks me into a cocked hat. We met Busters TL while we were out, Buster was home alone though, poor Buster, well Busters TL made a great fuss of me and Alfie. Alfie keeps telling my mum it's scoff time when it's not his scoff time but his mum told my mum wot time he should have his scoff so we know he's telling porkies. We've had a nice siesta this afternoon while my mum did a few jobs. My mum came back from the dentists, she wasn't crying too much cos the dentist filled her tooth but didn't do any drilling, result said my mum, mind it cost her an arm and a leg. I'll keep my paws crossed and make Alfie cross his paws that little Monty is ok when the vet has seen him and hope Miss May gets on well at the vets tomorrow. Smashing pictures today, good job them greyhounds didn't get near the ferrets. There's a greyhound near here and it always barks and growls when it sees other woofers so I wouldn't trust a greyhound as far as I could throw it. Did you tell Mrs TM yesterday that it was Eric wot poo'd in her craft room. I hope he hasn't been snitching on you today. We've got a weather warning tomorrow so paws crossed that it's wrong and we have another nice day, I don't do wet so I won't want to go out with Alfie if it rains. Alfie says to say hello to you all and nice to met you all, I'll tell him all about you and your adventures for a nice bedtime story later. Have a lovely evening all and hope you get some decent muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch, Alfie lodger and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Well I have been on another adventure and only had internetty off and on, I tried to reply to you but it disappeared so I was very disgruntled and here I am a bit wind swept but in one piece. Friday we had a day of eating encouraged by friends who parked next to us at the school, we had already had our breakfast cereals when they invited us for fried marmalade sandwiches, I supplied crackers with Wendleydale and Cranberry cheese and Pate, then we had a cream tea at theirs in the afternoon before fish and chips at 7-30 pm. Very nice it was too. We had the high winds being down at the coast on the sea front of Palm Bay but it only rained at night. I see Miss May has had a birthday, the tree fellers have been out and a fiesty frog has upset TM,how dare it! I thought I would gloss over the poo rolling and Holly eating goodness knows what because they are not unusual occurences, never learn still it gives OTL practice with the scrubbing brush. I hope Achie has a good week with Alfie, maybe he has met his match, I hope the garden survives. Sorry I couldn't keep in touch, I do miss not being able to reply, big hugs and kisses XXXXXXXXXXXX
