Us here, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!
First, the good news. Old Two Legs had put one of The Missus pinafores in the big bed on the top floor of the cage. You see, Wendy loves curling up in the pinny box for a snooze after the morning rampage around the house.
Having put a pinny in the cuddle cup she normally uses, OTL watched her get in for a snooze. Then, a little while later he looked into the cuddle cup and found Eric curled up next to Wendy!
Wendy was on one side of the pinny and Eric on the other. Now we were sure that Wendy knew Eric was there but hadn't made a move to throw him out!
So, we reckon it's a Birthday Present from the Ferrets, just for us!
Claws crossed that things get better!
It was dark when we went out and just for a change, it wasn't raining!
There was not big sunrise 'cos the clouds were all dark and grey but OTL used the flash setting just for a 'Birthday Picture'.

After the ferrets went back to bed, Holly and I played a game of 'Chase The Ball' with OTL. He would throw a tennis ball out of the office and it would bounce off the landing wall and down the stairs!
Good fun!
Lunchtime the sun was out and we were off down to the beach! One of the good things is that as it's our birthday, we get to have a roll without OTL telling us off!

We had a good look but there were no Grain Rocks to be found either on the ground or up the trees!

ReplyDeleteYo birthday girls and ferrets. Well wot a really super dooper birthday present, Wendy letting Eric get in the cuddle cup with her. I'll keep my paws crossed that when it's not your birthday she still lets him get in with her. I've been in trouble a few times today, for getting under the throws, trying to dig a nice comfy hole in the sofa, eating the grass wot my mum cut today when I found a clump where it had fallen off the mower after she wheeled in back to the garage. It's been exhausting getting up to all that for one little chap. I went on a walk and bumped into Buddy, his dad is going away for a couple of weeks but he has a friend coming to stay to look after Buddy. Smashing pictures today, looks like you had a really good day and a really good roll in some sniffs. Wot more could any woofer want on their birthday. Now you could try a new game with OTL, you and Holly nudge the ball down the stairs and OTL goes and finds it and brings it back. Hope Mrs TM doesn't mind losing one of her pinnies, it is for a good cause though. Have a lovely evening, hope you've got some really nice birthday goodies to snack on. I hope you haven’t made too much of a piggy of yourselves eating your birthday treats then you will have some left for tomorrow. What a lovely pinny tale, oh I do hope it continues that would be a good birthday present. 💝. It was a bit dark and misty first thing but then it brightened up, we hope it lasts because Michael is planning to visit Folkestone tomorrow with a photography group, someone is due here at 9am from Grain, Michael is driving them to Newington and then they are being driven to Folkestone, a real old relay.
