Eye Eye, now it's TM's turn!

Hi Woofers.

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret again!

We heard some sad news this morning, remember Ozzie who collapsed when he was out for his morning stroll? He was the one Old Two Legs helped carry home in one of our blankets?

Well, last week Ozzie went out in the garden, lay down on the path and didn't wake up. Poor lad, it looks like his lung infection got him in the end. He was a lovely fella, always said hello to OTL and was a gentle woofer to Holly and I when ever we met him.

Miss Wendy came out with us this morning but when lunchtime came Eric decided it was just too hot for walkies. Maybe tomorrow when the temperature is set to plunge ten degrees!

OTL took his big camera and the 105mm close up lens. The Dragonflies were too fast and just too high to get a good shot so we had to make do with chasing butterflies instead!

Just stopped for a breather!
When we got to the beach there was another of those rig things parked up off Sheerness Docks. We had a look at the Marine Traffic program and discovered that it was called Ran. Well, that's what it said on the computer program!

Well, it's registered in Iran and called Ran!
We stopped for a while on the bench to take a look at the rigs, maybe they both have some sort of maintenance plans!

After we got fed up with looking at them we headed off towards home. Both Holly and I were getting hot and in need of a drink.

OTL stopped when he saw a Buff Tailed Bumblebee but it wouldn't stand still while OTL was clicking away with the camera.

Back home The Missus had been on the phone to the optometrists about her ocular migraine. There was loads of rushing around cos they didn't know if it could be a detached retina.

So, an appointment was made with the same optometrists that OTL uses and it was OTL's job to drive her there and back cos she had to have drops in her eyes.

Well, in the end and after an hours consultation, it was decided that it was a migraine and her eyes were good for her age!

OTL was pleased about that cos can you imagine what it would be like if she couldn't do all her glue slapping?

OTL said it was also good news that Holly and I wouldn't have to be trained up as guide dogs!

I'd make a good guide dog, providing she wanted to go the way I wanted to go!

Eyeball to Eyeball with a Ferret!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another super sunny day! We were out with Wendy first thing this morning and just didn't Eric show off! He was rattling the cage door trying to rip it off the hinges. He was showing off big time!

Eric has got it into his head that as Wendy is getting on in years, she should stay in bed and let him go out walkies with us!

No way! He will just have to wait his turn! He was not a Happy Ferret! He threw all his toys around the cage, kicked the water bowl around and spilt water all over the place!

Of course, come lunchtime he was so worn out showing off that he fell asleep and very nearly got left behind!

The Lilly Flowers in the pond can't make up their mind what to do. One day the blooms are wide open and other times they sort of stop just after they get out of bed!

No, I don't think I'll get up yet!

Mind you, the water jug keeps going, as long as the sun shines!


If only it were whisky, OTL would be a Happy Bunny!

Come lunchtime we were down the beach again and were it not for the woofing Holly did at the postman, Eric might have been left behind!

Of course, the first family of Two Legs we spotted wanted to talk about Eric and give him a stroke!

After we stroke him can he play with our dog?

Holly went wandering up the beach muttering something about 'No Nibbles, No Strokes and if they touch Eric I'll bite his butt!'

I stayed behind to investigate a sniff only to find Eric had decided he wanted the sniff as well, we ended up almost Eyeball to Eyeball over the sniff!

I sniffed it first so it's Mine!

In the end I decided to let him have the sniff cos' Holly had found one further up the beach that was not only good for sniffing, it was great for rolling in!

Oh go on then, you have it!

This afternoon has been all snoozy, just what we need!

Tomorrow is the end of the month, so Old Two Legs will be hammering away on the computer and sending all those invoices and keeping his fingers crossed that he gets paid!

You just can't trust a Ferret!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another fine and sunny day here here in North Kent, Wendy came out with us first thing and had a great time tearing across the football field while Holly and I went into 'sniff mode'!

Old Two Legs has been busy on the computer again, dead boring especially when you want to go out and have a rampage around the garden!

You know, it was so exciting that I could hardly contain myself!

Exciting or Wot!
 Eric got himself in trouble, again.

He loves ferreting around in the office and of course, if there is a sniff to sniff, he'll be there sniffing like mad

Now I wonder what's in this thing?
 Using the gap in the bin lid I can sniff something very interesting!

It sniffs like Ferret Munchies!
Then he tries the lid, just to see what would happen if he pokes it with his paw!

Boom! Boom! Boom goes the lid!
 Well, you know what happens when you keep pounding on the lid with your paw?

Summat's got to give!
Then in he goes sniffing all the ferret sniffs!

That's our Eric, any sign of a sniff and he's there!

So far today he has got into that bin five times, so, if ever we can't find him, the bin is the first place to look!

OTL's working again!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, it's been a right proper mix up of a day today.

Yesterday Old Two Legs was loading up the back of the big car with tools and bits of stuff. Then he shut it all up and locked the doors! We thought it was a bit of a late Spring Clean Up in his tool box. Well, that was until he shut us in the bedroom after our morning walk, let the ferrets out to rampage and then he was off and away into the distance.

Now, you know how much Holly and I want to be close to OTL when he is working at home and how much we miss him when he goes away, well, it's even worse when he sneaks off like wot he did this morning. I will admit, I was snivelling all the time he was out and it didn't help to have Holly next to me whining as well!

We got taken out at lunchtime by The Missus but it wasn't the same and you know what? We didn't even bother to hunt out the sniff!

Mid afternoon Holly and I were wondering just where he had gone when this big car pulled up onto the drive.

He's Back!!!!!!!

Well, both Holly and I went potty! We were running up and down the stairs, across the backs of the sofa and armchairs, up the stairs again, around the bed then run around waking the ferrets up!

We thought that TM would have been pleased to see him but she was on the Internetty Thingy with her mates, making cards!

Mind you, she did him a late lunch, well, a ham roll and a pack of Rennies cos the rolls were still warm!

Poor OTL, all that hard work and all he gets is indigestion!

Maybe TL should see a vet?

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Archie Babes Two Legs has got a tooth ache and from wot I've heard, she can't get into the dentist until half way through August! Now, that's just not right! I mean, you can get into the TL's hospital on an emergence basis and get an extraction done, nothing else just pull it out. I suppose that if you are in pain then that's the way to go.

Now.

If you were a woofer, you could phone up the vet and get an appointment the same day and get booked in for some knockout drops and the tooth pulled on the day or next day. Mind you you need to have deep pockets, those vets don't come cheap but it would be a novel thing to ask the vet to pull your tooth!

The only thing is, the vet might want you to have some worming tablets as well!

Talking of that, Old Two Legs has got to have some laser treatment on his eye. He had some work done on his other eye a couple of years ago. It took a whole year to get an appointment with the hospital and when he arrived, the whole process took about fifteen minutes! Makes you wonder why there is such a long queue!

This time he says he will have to pay to get it done but the eye clinic is not doing any laser treatment because of the Covid thingy and he has been told to call back mid September, just after our holiday!

Seems money can't buy you everything!

This morning Miss Wendy came out with us for a walk and she chased Holly back to the Poo Bin by the garages!

Eric was a bit put out but come lunchtime he was up and rattling the cage door demanding a walk!

As normal, he decided to have a cuddle in OTL's arms until we got to the beach, then he was down and ferreting all over the beach and I got to have a good roll in the sea weed!

Is there a Woofer up there?
Eric had fun digging in the sand and then headed off to the steps up to the path that leads to the hill top.

Any Woofers here?
He always stops at the top of the stairs to check if there was any woofers on the path, then, if clear, off he would go chasing Holly all the way back to the car!

OK Holly, here I come!
We got tied up to the leads again as soon as we got near the sniff spot. Just how long will it take before he forgets about the sniff?

We were sitting down to lunch when The Missus squeaks out that there is a dead bird in the garden. OK, we'll put it in the rubbish bin after lunch.

Then she says, 'it's moving but I think it's terminal'!

OK, we'll put it in the rubbish bin after lunch.

Then she goes out to see it and says, 'it's alive but it only got one leg and it's head is on the ground.

OK, we'll put it out of it's misery and put it in the rubbish bin after lunch.

So, after lunch OTL gets three sheets of kitchen towel and heads off to the shed to get his hand axe to send baby sparrow to the Rainbow Bridge.

Only thing is, OTL can't see any blood or damage to the bird and when he picks it up, the bird squeaks and waves both legs at OTL. That means OTL must put the bird back on the ground and see if mummy comes down to see what's going on with junior.

Holly is all for going out and chewing the tail off the sparrow but TM insists that Holly is NOT going out in the garden.

About an hour and a half later we look out to find that the sparrow had gone! Maybe it flew off or has gone into the undergrowth or mummy has come down to lead him off to a place of safety!

You know, it's all go in our garden!

Seriously Lazy Sunday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again. I just love a Sunday, I mean, like you get up a little later than normal, then mooch around fiddling with stuff and then after lunch have a snooze that lasts all the way until tea time when you sort of relax until it's time to go to bed and it's only then you wonder just what happened to another Sunday!

In our garden we have a fence panel that is trying to escape. It is one that Old Two Legs replaced a couple of years ago but because of the dry, hot, weather we had last year and this years hot dry weather, it's sort of falling apart and it seems that the local fence suppliers have all run out of stock. So OTL keeps standing it up and the wind catches the panel and it tries to fly but instead it falls over and that means OTL picks it up again but every time he touches it, bits keep falling off it!

Lunchtime walk was most pleasant, sunshine and Two Legs all over the place, there was almost nowhere to have a wee!


The famous, Tree, Bench, Mini TL, TL, Poo Bin, Woofer, TL and Tree!
 We didn't do too much running around, it was just too warm for that and the tide was out, so no chance of a Deep Paddle!

Any more TL's and it will be a football match!
 One of the good things about the Sunday Walk is that we can stop half way around and relax in the shade of the bench!

No, You wake me up when it's time to move, I did it last time!
 Heading back to the car Holly and I noticed that although there were loads of TL's on the sea wall or on the beach, when we came to the forest, there was no one to be seen!

There were loads of Dragonflies swarming at the forest edge, first time we had seen them this year.

Just above the trees the Dragonflies were ducking and diving in some sort of mating dance.
 Back home OTL put a DVD on, skipped through the adverts, started to watch the fim and fell asleep, only to wake up as the final credits were scrolling through.

As we said, Sunday is a Seriously Lazy Day!

Soggy Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

You can tell it's the weekend, it's raining! A strange phenomena in this part of the world. It sometimes happens at second holiday times. You know, leave home and it's baking hot, get half way to the holiday and it's all floods and snow drifts!

Well, today there were no snowdrifts but there was rain. It was funny seeing The Missus running in and out of the garden with the clothes basket, putting the washing out then rushing to take it back in again!

In the end she gave up and went off to her workspace and recorded a couple of video's!

Now, something I forgot yesterday.

TM has just had her hair cut, or 'styled' as she calls it, to anyone else it's just a hair cut!

Anyway, to celebrate she decided to put on some ping wax stuff on her hair to pretty it up a bit.

Now that was OK but she didn't seem to get the joke when Holly said she looked like a Swan Vesta match!

Holly had to hide for most of the day!

Back to today. Both ferrets seem to have been worn out from yesterdays rampaging around the fields and down on the sea front 'cos today they stayed tucked up in bed all day!

So it was just Holly and I on our own today, plus of course, Old Two Legs. Lunchtime we saw that the Rig over in the Sheerness Docks had the legs painted on the top three sections. So it looks like it won't be long before it heads back out to sea to drill some more test holes in the sea bed.

Moving next week?
We managed to get out for a walk in between showers and OTL got all crafty and managed a photo of Holly who was hiding under the bench!

That was sneaky!
I was sitting on top of the bench, trying to find a spot where the rain hadn't formed into puddles, when out comes this camera and 'Click'!

As we got closer to the forest, on goes our lead and we were 'Monitored' until we got onto the main path, away from the poo sniff!

Do you think he will ever trust us again?
Half way down the path there is a young wisteria plant who's flowers have nearly all gone and the few flowers that are left we sometimes get a butterfly feeding on the nectar.

...and it was shot using a 35mm lens!
This afternoon OTL was hunting for a bit of equipment in the garden, amongst the rubbish that is earmarked for the rubbish time, when it opens again, and managed to disturb three flogs who darted across the path and jumped into the pond!

Over the other side of the garden TM says she has disturbed loads of small flogs who didn't make it to the pond and instead dived through the fence into next doors garden!

Another warm day!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

This morning we were up early, don't know why, there's no reason for it but a whole half an hour earlier than normal!

That means Old Two Legs was ready for taking us out earlier and for whatever reason, Miss Wendy was up early and doing an 'Eric'!

That is, rattling the cage door to come out!

Off we all went, or rather us and Wendy cos Eric was still fast asleep!

Miss Wendy loves wandering through the grass and sniffing the sniffs around the goal post!

We saw one of the locals and while OTL was having a chat Holly and I went off sniffing. It was then that we saw Barney and his three spaniel woofers coming in off the fields.

Now it was Barney who got OTL into keeping ferrets cos he allowed a ferret to escape and it found it's way into our garden back in December 2012!

That was Snowflake!


.................and I say I saw that sniff first!

One thing with Snowflake, she could hold her own and wasn't afraid of woofers!

Barney still keeps ferrets but is down to two at the moment, just like OTL!

It was lunchtime that Eric finally woke up and decided he wanted to go out walking with us and soon we were down on the sea wall. Of course, being sunny and a Friday there were loads of Two Legs running around plus Mini Two Legs who all wanted to stroke Eric and ask loads of questions.

Holly and I get right bored when this happens cos no one takes any notice of us sitting there on the sea wall looking cute!

OK, look at me, I'm 'Super Cute'!

Of course, when Eric starts playing 'Cute' they all whip out their phones and start taking pictures of him!

.....and would you like to stroke my shoulders?

Once we got over the hill we started to mimic him, which made him show off and he tried to chase me and nip my legs but I was just too quick for him and trotted off before he got close!

.....I can see you with my third eye!

Once again we were tied to our leads when we got close to that sniff, one thing with OTL, he's got a long memory!

Mind you, so has an Ellyphunt!

Another Sunny, lazy day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Well, it's been another of those lazy days. It started this morning with our normal run around the field and sniff around the bushes, just to see where the foxes have been. Holly wanted to have a roll in the sniffs but Old Two Legs was watching and made grumbly noises which sort of put her off the idea!

Back home the ferrets had a great time chasing the squeaky rubber balls and Miss Wendy got OTL to put the pinny into her sleeping bed so she can curl up and hide away!

We went out early at lunchtime, mainly because Eric was rattling his cage door demanding to be let out!

There were loads of Two Legs running up and down the sea front and of course, they all wanted to say hello to Eric and totally ignored us woofers!

What was worse, the tide was out! So, I couldn't get in for a bit of 'Deep Paddling'!

Eric had a little run on the beach but decided not to do any digging cos the sand was wet!

You know this is a bit damp on my paws!
 After a while he found parts of the beach that were dry and also warm! So he was off to investigate the rocks and have a snuffle along the sea wall.

Now then, what's behind here?
Once again we were tied up on our lead so that we couldn't return to that big sniff we found the other day! We could only sniff the air as we passed the spot where it lay!

This afternoon has been all warm and sunny, in fact it was so warm that we all fell asleep for an hour or two after lunch!

I do like these warm days, everyone seems to be snoozy, even the cats that run across the garden seem to be slower, mind you, Holly still can't catch them!

No Sniffs today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another warm and sunny day and the ferrets, after their morning rampage have decided to stay in bed and snooze the rest of the day away!

At lunchtime we were off down the sea wall again but this time I didn't get a dip in the sea, in fact as soon as I looked down to the sea I got the 'Warning' from Old Two Legs that went something like, 'Don't even think about it'!

We thought we had found something interesting which turned out to be a bag of bones from a Two Legs Bar-b-Cue which were not worth chewing over or even rolling in!

 We got to the Two Trees Bench and Bin and OTL took a picture but from a different angle, well, it makes a change!

And over there is a Kebab Shop!
Now these TL's have got long memories you know, remember yesterday and the sniff rolling session? Well, as we got near and I could just sniff something on the wind, OTL called us to him, connected up out lead and marched us straight past the pile!

That was it, we missed out on another roll in the sniff. Mind you, at least we didn't have to have a soapy shower to get rid of it all!

Happy Birthday Archies Boy!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

OK, now you all know who's birthday it is today? So, we are going to sing our Happy Birthday Song, so, after twenty six, ready............?

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24......25........26............

Happy Birthday Mr Boy
Have you got your birthday toy
Kick it all around the garden
Just don't step in the Poo!

Now what prezzies did he get? Bet he got some chews and then maybe a Raw Hide Chew and a bag of tennis balls so he can play with Archie Babe in the lounge!

The weather has been here and there today, it started off nice and warm with some bright fluffy clouds.

Yep! That's wot we call fluffy!
 Down on the sea front there were not so many Two Legs today, mind you, we pulled into the first car park and it was solid with cars but when we got to the beach we couldn't see any of them, like they had all disappeared into the bushes!

Where have all the TL's gone, long time passing!
Mind you, I didn't mind cos OTL took off my harness when we were at the top of the hill and I stood there looking at the water, then he coughed and I was off like a shot!

Shall I, shall I, maybe I will, Shall I..............................
 Then I was off!

Next stop the water!

Oooh! It cools down all the important bits!
Holly stayed up on the sea wall while I had a super paddle.

Then we headed off back to the car, with a short stop at the bench on top of the hill.

As we were going through the forest, Holly and I met up with this sniff,  I mean, this was a sniff you could die for, a sniff that said 'Roll In Me!'

So we did.

OTL just kept on wandering on ahead not realising we had stopped!

After a little while we caught him up................

Well, we were poo'ed up from nose to tail and all over our backs down to our tails and all the way around our legs, and the poo, it was attracting flies from all over the place!

We stunk!

Back home we were marched straight up to the shower and proceeded to get the soapiest shower we had ever had. There were lumps of poo floating around the shower and we were blasted with the power shower head that can strip paint at sixty feet!

It was horrid!

It was wet and we didn't like it a bit!

Well, it took a while before we were blasted clean and it took four towels to dry us off and we got told to sit in the corner and not say a word.

I mean, they had bacon sarnie for lunch and we didn't get a sniff, not even a tiny bit of bacon, just ..................SIT! AND STAY!

Never mind, maybe Archie Babe's Boy will share his Plawn Clackers with us tonight!

Got Wet Didn't I?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a super day! It has been all sunshine and warm breezes today.

The morning run was just great, Holly managed a poo by the bins and I followed on a couple of feet away!

Old Two Legs was happy, as he says, 'Two Poo's, One Poo Bag and a step away from the bin!

Sorted!

It was just as good at lunchtime and the Two Legs seemed to have gone back to work, there were only a dozen or so on the sea wall.

The wild flowers were all out and blooming all over the place.

 What was good was that OTL took my harness off and I was allowed to head off to the sea for a deep paddle and a splash!

Tail up and fight my way through the seaweed!
 We couldn't find any sticks to chase so OTL was throwing stones and cockle shells in but I could see they weren't sticks so I just chased the sea weed instead!

This Seaweed's got a funny twang to it, maybe it's fish wee!
 As you would expect, Holly stayed well away from the water and stood on top of the sea wall laughing at OTL who was still looking for sticks!

There ain't no way I'm coming anywhere near that water!
 By the time I'd finished I was wet almost all over, the only bit that was dry was the top bit of my tail!

That was good, maybe I'll have another got tomorrow!
OTL has been bashing away on the computer again and trying to make it look like he has been hard at work, that was up until the time we caught him with his head resting on the back of the chair snoring his boots off!

Brrrm, Brrrm!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We have a problem with Eric.

The Missus, trying to be kind and friendly to Eric, let him have a couple of smoothies to play with.

Well, you know what Eric is like with a smoothie!

He grabbed the smoothie and rushed under the sofa and hid them in the workings!

Old Two Legs has been looking for the smoothies, with no success whatsoever!

He even had a look in TM's card stowage room, under the boxes and drawers and behind the bed that Wendy likes to sleep in!

Mind you, he found six squeaky balls, two tennis balls, a small rubber duck and a big handful of Brambles Biscuits and Wendy who was in the Pinny Box half asleep!

It's been a little dull today, loads of clouds, so OTL invited Eric and Wendy out for a run down on the beach but they stayed tucked up in bed and snoring their tails off!

TM decided to dig up the wild flowers OTL had spread on the patch of soil next to the pond but she not only dig up the grass and dead stuff but there was a couple of strange looking plants that OTL was wondering what they were but he didn't have a chance to find out what they were cos they went into the bin as well!

OTL's hay fever keeps him away from plants during the summer and taking us for a walk can end up with him being a snotty wreak! It's a good job us woofer don't suffer from hay fever, can you imagine it, we wouldn't be able to enjoy our sniffs!

Lunchtime we were down the beach and I was going to have a deep paddle but looking out to sea there was an enormous container ship and it looked like it might bump into our beach!

Left hand down a bit number one!

We came across a young puppy of only thirteen weeks! Of course, it went potty over OTL! I was going to have a word with her but as she was so young we decided that on this occasion we would let her off. Mind you, she said her name is Lacy, a bit of a funny name but you just can't trust these Two Legs to come up with a sensible woofer name!

Next time we meet I'll teach you all about sniffs!

There was a butterfly on the path, it was sitting on the ground with it's wings outstretched and looking all dramatic!

All this mating stuff get's you out of breath!

By the time we got back home the F1 Racing was just getting to the formation lap so we got comfortable on the sofa ready for the off.

It was a good race and in the end it was Lewis who won it!

I'm not sure where the next race is, I'll have to have a look on the F1 Web Site.

Fast Woofers and F1!

Hi Woofers!

We are here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

What a super day, it has been today. It was super warm first thing this morning and both ferrets decided to stay tucked up in bed!

Holly and I had a trot around the football field while Old Two Legs tried to get us to follow him into the field of wheat behind the big hedge at the back of the field.

In the end he had to follow us and just to go where we wanted a sniff!

Saturday mornings are for clearing up after the week and while OTL was busy Holly and I fell asleep on the bed basking in the warm sunshine that came through the window.

Lunchtime came and OTL found that he had left the camera switched on and the battery was flat! That was it, no photos of Holly and I splashing in the water and chasing all the woofers from off our beach!

Mind you, we met up with Max and Oscar who had escaped into the back garden of one of the houses. They were having a great time running around in the garden but Holly and I stood outside, let's face it, we had got into enough trouble as it was!

Back home it was time to get ourselves sorted out cos the Qualifying for F1. Hamilton broke the track record twice before the finish and if that's what he can do in Qualifying then what will he do in the race?

The ferrets have been resting in their cage and snoozing like wot only ferrets can!

OTL says that if he comes back, then he wants to come back as a ferret!

Mind you, if he came back as a ferret then he  wouldn't be able to have a camera!

See you tomorrow and we have put the battery on charge!

A Thames Barge.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We have had a really lazy day today. It started off with Old Two Legs getting up at seven thirty instead of his normal six fifteen.

Mind you, I didn't mind cos that means I get an extra hour in bed!

When we went out first thing, Wendy decided she wanted to come with us, just for a change. She doesn't often come out cos she is getting on and says that too much running wears her paws out!

Eric was a bit put out but we promised him he could come out at lunchtime and if he was reallly good, we would let him go in for a swim!

Eric is a bit like Holly, neither of them like water!

Lunchtime came and off we all went. As we got to the first rubbish bin we spotted a Thames Barge heading down the Medway, enjoying a trip in the sunshine. It was a good thing OTL had his telephoto lens with him, you camn almost see the crew on deck!

It wasn't long before we got to the beach and as normal, Eric just wanted to get up the beach and have a dig in the sand!

Told you, I don't do wet water!

As normal, once he got going he was OK and soon he was diving in and out of the long grass and sniffing at the wild flowers!

Just before we got to the top of the hill we saw this boat thing charging through the water heading towards us. Again, using OTL's telephoto lens we were able to see it was one of thos sea going tugs that shove the ships around or take the pilot out to a ship that needs some help navigating through the shallows.

Holly says they have big powerful engines in those things!

I did a sneaky, while OTL was looking the other way, I headed in for a quick dip! OTL threatened to take me home and put me in the shower again but I managed to dry off in the car before we got home!

Well, the weekend is here so we may get another hour or two in bed, if we are lucky!

Eric goes Walk-a-Bout!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, now we are all here!

This morning, as normal, we got shut in the bedroom while Eric and Wendy went on a rampage around the house. Eric was really full of fun and was bouncing off the furniture and diving into all of The Missuses card making stuff looking for the bag of smoothies that are hidded somewhere in the drawers.

Old Two Legs headed up to have his breakfast and fiddle on the computer and afterwards he starts cleaning out the cage.

Heading down stairs he noticed the kitchen door was wide open!
                                       
                      PANIC!!!!!!!!
               Eric was gone!!!!!!!!!
Eric was gone! A quick search around the house told us he was out in the wide world!

OTL headed out to search the area around the house while TM was searching the garden and around the shed, nothing.

OTL was wandering around squeaking Eric's favourite squeaky chicken, nothing.

Then next door neighbour called out to OTL and there, in her arms, was Eric with a silly grin on his face!

Seems he found a hole in the fence and was looking for some new sniffs and was put out that Oscar and Ozzie were hiding in the kitchen, too scared to come out and play!

The only real problem is, TM can't remember opening the kitchen door!

I think that she will have to stay with us in the bedroom when the ferrets are out rampaging!

After all that panicking our lunchtime walk was rather boring, I mean, other than a few Two Legs turning blue in the wind, there was only an old crow ferreting about in the grass!

What do you mean Ferreting?
Oh yes, then there was Holly and OTL did a sneaky click with his camera and managed to get a shot and she has here eyes open!
