Searching for Squeaky Balls!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret again!

Not a bad sort of day today, the sun was out first thing this morning which was quite good as we walked all the way around the old golf course and managed to chase a fox, that we could hardly see, back into the brambles where it sleeps at night.

Back home we headed for our bed while the ferrets were out running about.

Old Two Legs has a big cardboard box in which he stores the ferrets play things, cardboard tubes, plastic Tesco Bags, squeaky balls and doggy towels. The ferrets hide and fight and play in this stuff and on top of that they hide their squeaky balls as well.

Eric, being a past master at hiding his balls will run off with a ball and hide it under the TV cabinet while Miss Wendy will hide her ball under the sofa.

Today both Eric and Wendy decided to take their balls upstairs and hide them in The Missus card room.

It was when the ferrets went back to bed and Holly and I were let out of the bedroom that we searched for the balls.

It took us ages to find them and it was only when we called OTL into the store room to look under the boxes did we finally locate them. Of course, as soon as we found them, we stood outside the office door and proceeded to squeeze them which always drives Eric up the cage and gets Wendy hissing at him to go back to bed!

OTL had a look at the weather forecast and decided that we should for our lunchtime walk around eleven thirty as he could see a band of rain heading our way!

We saw that the RAN hadn't moved, it was still moored up at Sheerness and had gone back to being parked just above the water.

There were some Two Legs walking back from the fort, being chased back to the sea wall by the tide!

Once we got over the hill the wind dropped and the sniffs were still hanging about, it's a woofer thing!

Do you think he would be in a better mood if he could sniff what we sniff?

Maybe not!

The leaves are all turning golden and dropping off the trees. The tree in our back garden is covering the pond with leaves of many colours from red to yellow!

It won't be long before OTL will have to empty the pond ready for cleaning before the Winter starts!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Wot lovely pictures, specially the one of you and Holly chops. Well so far so good, no grumblies for me, mind my mum wasn't so lucky and she's blaming it on me. Now off she trotted to work this morning feeling very dirty dick, my boy came and got in bed with me and we stayed there until she came home, still feeling dirty dick. Well I was singing to my boy, cos I know he loves a lullaby to get him off to snooze. Do you know he had the cheek to complain to my mum and he's threatened to wake me up when he comes home from the gym tonight. We've had a very quiet day on account of my mum not feeling too good but we did all watch the latest episode of Star Trek Discovery. I'm off to bed soon on account of being woken up so early, I feel like a nice lay in, in the morning. I bet Eric was miffed when he heard you squeaking his balls. Take care all and have a good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
