A Result!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, has winter arrived or wot?

All this week the weatherman has been rubbing his hands together forecasting gales, snow and high winds!

Down here in the Southeast of England we normally get off light whilst the rest of the UK suffers, we get off with sunshine!

Not today, Old Two Legs and I went out first thing this morning to be hit by a cold wind coming in off the North Sea!

I was right glad to get back home again and snuggle under my blankets!

Lunchtime we went out again and the conditions hadn't changed at all!

Now, normally the lunchtime walk is the 2.63 miles along the sea front but today I reckoned it was not going to be the fun walk OTL normally enjoys. So, I did the old 'Hang Back and Dawdle' trick.

It worked!

OTL got fed up waiting for me and the wind got stronger and I got into some serious dawdling!

When we got to the top of the hill where the steps are, OTL turned right and stomp off down the steps mumbling something about Wimpy Puppy.

Do I care?

Back home to a warm spot on OTL's lap after a big bowl of Fish Doggy Dins and you know, I didn't even ask for a treat!

Result!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well Daisy, it's been orrible here today. My mum made me go out for a wee at silly o clock in the freezing cold. She said some of her customers were moaning cos it was trying to snow. That wind would blow yer eyebrows off and it's so cold. Me and my mum had a nice snuggle on the sofa with a couple of blankets and we were nice and warm and snug. I flately refused to have my collar and lead on and there's no way I'm going out in this weather. I've been pushed out the door to go for a wee but I gallop back in. I bet it was nice stretching out on the bed last night with the extra space and no being disturbed during the night. Glad you enjoyed your fishy dins. Stay warm and snuggled up to OTL. Take care and stay safe all. Hope Mrs TM is enjoying her glue flinging. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Definitely a result there Daisy!! It was “brass monkeys” yesterday and no better today. So wrap up warm and do your dawdling trick again- sounds like a good idea 👍
