Hello Woofers!
Daisy and Eric de Ferret here!
What a day, like, this morning it was windy as we headed off to the sea wall, windy but not cold, in fact it had all the promise of getting warmer around lunchtime!
Once again, just cos it's the weekend, Old Two Legs got up late so by the time we got down to see the sea, the sun was high in the sky, but we still got a moody photo but not as good as yesterday!
Moody but we have seen better!
We met up with some weekend woofers, I call them weekenders cos during the week they get a walk near to home or even I the back garden which is not good for a woofer!
I mean, a woofer needs fresh air and a good selection of sniffs, let's face it, sniffing your own wee just doesn't have the same excitement!
Talking of excitement, when we get back from the morning walk, OTL normally tells me to go and have a snooze while the ferrets have a run around the house. Since Miss Wendy has left us, OTL has been leaving the bedroom door open and Eric has been wandering into the bedroom to see what's going on.
Now Eric is OK as a ferret and doesn't try to bite me and I let him wander past me as goes hunting squeaky balls!
OTL is all for a quiet life and encourages us to get on together. Mind you, I have been known to have a little grumble when we arrive nose to nose either side of some chicken strips!
Sometimes I jump up onto OTL's lap and have a snoozy cuddle and Eric gets to have a cuddle when he is in OTL's arms.
Today we had a first, Daisy on OTL's lap and Eric on Daisy's back having a snoozy cuddle!
Now, this is a first!
Providing OTL is there to look after us I don't mind Eric having a snoozy cuddle and as long as he doesn't run around on my back, it's quite nice to have him cuddle up!
Talk about living dangerously, I got given a Broccoli stalk to chew on! Now, I don't mind carrots but this Broccoli tasted like well rotten rabbit’s poo!
I think I'll stick to carrots and chicken chews!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy and Eric de Ferret.
