Holly's Loosing Her Touch!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy ad Eric de Ferret!

It has been a pleasant day today, the ferrets have been scampering around the house, Holly and I have been snoozing on the sofa and Old Two Legs has been chasing suppliers about expected deliveries that haven't turned up!

He don't half show off when stuff gets delivered late!

To show you how he gets, he forgot to take the camera with him on our morning walk! Holly and I nearly caught a rabbit and we were so close that the rabbits nose was tickling out noses as we raced after it!

Now, that would have made a super picture!

Instead you have got a picture of Miss May digging a hole under OTL's boot!

If you don't shift it I'll dig under it!
OTL moved his boot and May went into 'Hyper Mode' shovelling sand all over the place.

Sorry OTL, did I scare you when I was throwing sand over your boots?

Now, you all know how Holly Chops is governed by her stomach? Normally she can extract a sausage sarnie from and hard hearted fisherman when she puts on her 'Poor Puppy' look and makes like she hasn't been fed for a month!

Well, we came across this family enjoying a picnic on the Sea Wall. They had cheese sarnies and sausage sarnies and crab paste sarnies as well! There was some crisps and hoops and even a bit of pork pie as well!

Holly went into 'Feed Me' mode and tried all of her tricks to get a nibble but no one offered her even so much as a nibble!

Poor Holly Chops, not even a sniff!
In the end she had to give it up 'cos OTL was calling her to have a run on the beach!

Poor Holly, tonight she has Doggy Scoff as well!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy ad Eric de Ferret.

Back to work!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

It has been a busy day today, Old Two Legs is playing about with bits of paper and paying bills.

You can tell it's the end of the month!

It was a bit cloudy this morning, but that didn't stop us from having fun down on the beach.

It could rain but in the end, it didn't!
Wendy and Freddy just love a dig on the beach. Wendy was getting deeper down the more she dug!

Freddy tried to help but he is not that good at hole digging!

Go on, find your own hole!
It didn't get any better at lunchtime. Both May and Eric were very sleepy and when we got to the car park they were still asleep! OTL had to carry them all the way down to the beach and when he set them down, they just wanted to get back up into OTL's arms again!

Go on, let me get back up and finish off my cuddle!
OTL said that they had to walk 'cos they needed the exercise!

Holly had a grumbly tum and OTL had to do some 'Tidying Up' around Hollies back side before she got back in the car.

I don't care, I'm not getting any closer to her backside!
With a bit of luck, we may get a cloud free evening and if so, OTL has promised to get the telescope out! He has ordered an adaptor so that he can mount his camera on the scope!

The last time he had the 'scope out he saw a meteorite hit the upper atmosphere and also a satellite went over but he didn't need the 'scope for that one!

It will be good when we go on holiday 'cos we will be up in Scotland and away from all the lights!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Dry! I'm Dry and there is no chance of me getting Wet!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, today it has been a lot cooler than yesterday, so we took Wendy and Freddy out first thing this morning. They had a run down to the beach and enjoyed a dig in the sand and then trotted all the way back to the car!

Of course, when they got home, it was such an effort trying to stay awake!

And who is sleeping in my bed?
Old Two Legs has been leaving a tray full of water in the shower with some squeaky balls floating on top. First Eric and then Freddy had fun 'Rescuing' the balls and storing them in The Missuses work room.

Once they were all back in their cages, OTL found one of them had pinched the grid on the waste pipe in the shower and they are refusing to tell OTL where they stored it!

Lunchtime we decided to take May and Eric down to the beach 'cos the temperature had dropped down to a sensible level that wouldn't be any problem for ferrets!

When we got down to the beach, there was no water, I mean nuffin'!

W
Eric and May went down to the rock pools and had a little paddle but OTL wouldn't let me do the same 'cos he reckons I would have a roll instead of a paddle.

As if!

Hey! Woofers! Watch me get my paws wet!
May and Eric had fun rolling on the sand and paddling in the rock pools!

Come on, let's go up to the Sea Wall!
I was not happy about the lack of water, I mean, I've had a swim every day and I had a great time but today, nuffin'!

Holly wasn't any help, laughing all over her chops!

Look! No Water!
Her humour is not really welcome!

Not a wave to be seen!
Last night there was a storm and loads of water fell down. When we got to the beach May noticed just how much the Sea Kale had grown and of course, that was a good excuse to have a roll!

Just look at the size of it!
There was one of the 'Volunteers' riding around on the grass cutter thingy cutting down all the weeds.

Well, it keeps them out of trouble!
Brrrm, Brrrm!
Back home OTL has been fiddling about with the telescope trying to get it all set up for Equatorial Polar Alignment!

Well, it keeps him out of trouble!

I don't think that we will be star gazing tonight 'cos there is too much cloud but the weather forecast says that maybe tomorrow there will be clear skies!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Today I got wet ( on purpose!)

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It looked like it was going to be another hot day so we took Eric and May down the beach first thing this morning after dropping The Missus off at the Village Hall for day number two of glue slapping and throwing the glitter pots around!

The ferrets were having fun throwing the sand around but it took a little while to get going 'cos some Two Legs had got off their bikes to watch them from the Sea Wall!

Ooo! Look, Rats!
The problem with Two Legs is they just open their mouths before consulting their brains!

Yeah! Long Wheel Base Rats to you!

Miss May decided that she would try digging a trench along the beach but everywhere she started to dig, she would end up bumping into young Eric!

Look! Instead of a trench, let's try a big hole!
Holly and I were watching the TL's and speculating on how they could sit on such a small seat on the bike and not fall off!

When we turned around there was a whopping great hole behind us!

I reckoned the ferrets were trying to get us to fall in but Holly says that it looks like a hole a Mini TL would dig!

No, I can't sniff ferret around it!
Back home the ferrets all had a rampage around the house and everyone, with the exception of Eric, all found places to fall asleep!

May and Wendy headed for the inside of the lounge chair and Freddy fell asleep on my bed underneath Old Two Legs desk!

Lunchtime it was just Holly and I down the beach, it being too hot to take the ferrets out. OTL took my harness off me 'cos he knew what I was going to do!

Yep! Splash!

It was so cool in that water, I even did a 'Ferret', that is blowing bubbles through your nose while it is under the water!

Bubbly, Wubbly, Bubbly!
OTL decided that we should head for home but I met up with Bonny, the Staffy, who was chasing a rubber ball. I tried to beat her to the ball but she is just a little too quick for me and I might just get trodden on at the speed she goes!

She is in there somewhere!
Actually, she is a big show off, charging in and out of the water like that. No finesse like wot I have, I gentle push off from the beach and sneak up on the ball or lump of wood.

She, on the other paw goes tearing in looking like she can run on water!

Show Off!
Back home it was a bowel of 'Posh Scoff' and because we were hungry, Holly and I managed to finish it all!

Then we left OTL with the instruction manual and a Star Guide and headed off to have a snooze before TM got back.

Now she is back we are heading down to watch the recording of the F1 racing!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Glue Slapping Day

Yo! Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a day!

That hill is growing, I know it is, it is definitely getting taller!

Next Holly will be calling for some sort of lift to get her up the hill!
Freddy decided to go in for some sun bathing!

Just rub the Factor 35 in slowly please!
Old Two Legs was playing silly whatsits, he tried to convince us that he has taken a picture of the star cluster :-
'flumen Medweagi'
'flumen Medweagi'? ....................That's Latin for River Medway!
We got onto the beach but just as we were starting to have fun, a couple of big Bozo Bruisers came bounding towards us through the mud! Both Holly and I decided that the safest place to be was next to OTL!

If they come any closer we'll let OTL sort them out!
Lucky for OTL, their Two Legs put them on their leads and off they went along the Sea Wall!

....and don't you come back or OT: will sort you out!
OTL is getting into flower photography again, it's that time of the year! We are not sure wot this one is but it was very small, about the size of a small fly!

Some sort of clover maybe?
Now OTL keeps going on about Jack Go To Bed at Midday or to give it's other name, Goats Beard.

We didn't know why Goats beard but if you turn the camera up side down, maybe it could look like a Goats Beard?

A Goats Beard?
We stopped off to see the ladies who were Glue Slapping for all their worth. Holly tried to do some mugging but I'm not sure she got anything!

Fred and Wendy came in to say hello to everyone and they both got a cuddle from Rosie!

OTL is going to play with his telescope tonight if it gets dark enough. He has been ready the instructions for setting it up!

Instructions and OTL just don't go together!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Another Busy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Wot a wonderful sunny day it's been. The ferrets have been splashing about in the shower where the water tray has been left. Eric and Freddy were splashing about trying to get the balls out while May and Wendy were skidding about the shower tray!

Old Two Legs has been 'Manufacturing' today, so we haven't seen much of him.

It was late this afternoon we finally managed to tear him away from the 'Important Stuff' and we ended up at the Riverside Park!

Now, here's a place we haven't seen for some time!
The power station was missing a few bits but the chimney was still there. Don't know when they will blow it down but with a bit of luck we will get to see it come down!

Still there!
One problem we had, OTL wouldn't let us off our leads 'cos he reckons we would run into the muddy water and make his car all grubby.

As if!

Come on, just a little splash!
To make up for it we were allowed to have a rummage around the bushes where the rabbits normally play!

Yeah! They have been here today!
Back home The Missus is getting all her stuff ready for the Glue Slapping tomorrow up at the Village Hall.

We have been requested to bring Wendy and Freddy up to the hall for a visit and to say hello to all the 'Girls'!

Holly has promised to be on her best behaviour and not do too much mugging!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Did you know?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Now I bet you didn't know that there are loads of animal that are all related to each other?

For instance, Old Two Legs is related to the Chimpanzee and the Orangutan and if you don't believe me, you should see him first thing in the morning!

Us woofers are related to Wolves and Dingo's and OTL says that if we were left to get on with it, us woofers would end up looking like a Border Terrier!

Now, did you know that the ferret is related to the Otter?

Is it cold in there?
Mind you, not all ferrets like the water especially when the water is cold!

Come here you squeaky whatsit!
Of course, there are exceptions to this water thing but ferrets have got webbed paws and we often see Eric sticking his head under the water in his water bowel!

Eric has got a thing about squeaky Balls!
Mind you, Freddy also likes squeaky balls but really can't get up the courage to jump into the water!

Maybe if I blow it down there I can rush around and grab it!
Because it was rather hot today we didn't take the ferrets out at lunch time, just Holly Chops and me.

This hill gets steeper every time I walk up it!
When we got to the beach the tide was in and so was I!

I wonder if I am related to the Otter? Well, they had Otter Hounds didn't they?

These wave are getting a bit rough!
Now, Holly doesn't have any water in her veins at all, she says that if we were meant to go in swimming we would have been born with water wings!
Just think of all the fish that have wee'd and pooed in that water!
Holly Chops just loves to look on the bright side!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Bitt Too Hot for The Ferrets

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here.

Hasn't it been hot today? We were out this morning with Fred & Wendy and it was a tad warm then but lunchtime Eric and May were making so much noise that they got to go out but by the time they had got back home they were both feeling the heat!

They had a long drink in the back of the car then Old Two Legs gave them a cooling wash with cool water when they got home!

Miss May is not a water ferret and she did a big wriggle when OTL wrapped her up in a towel to dry off the excess water!

I had a great time on the beach and I managed to get a good roll in the damp sand, very cooling!

Right between the shoulder blades!
Holly was doing wot Holly does best, catching some rays!

This is the life!
Fred and Wendy had some fun digging in the sand but they got OTL to promise to give them a lift on the way back to the car!

Yeah! a carry along the top path will be just right!
Now, we were pleased to see a Goats Beard plant in full bloom, the first one this year!

A Jack Stay in Bed until Twelve plant!
Now, you know OTL is trying to get all set up with his new telescope? Well, last night he stayed up to look at the stars but it was too light, or not dark enough!

So, he has done a sneaky.

How about this picture of a star cluster and a cloud Nebula?

OK, so it's a picture of the sun reflected off a rock pool and the stars are reflections off the Sea Weed!
Fooled ya!

I think that the ferrets will be getting alternate walks down on the beach 'cos it's too hot for them at lunch time!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, you will be pleased to hear that Old Two Legs has got the telescope and at the moment it is in loads of bits all over the floor!

Somehow he has managed to get three instruction manuals for the 'scope and two manuals on the computer control of the 'scope!

I have a feeling it is going to take a long time before he gets it out in the garden and pointing towards the North Star!

We on the other paw, have been good woofers by keeping out of his way and not playing with all the packing material, of which there are masses!

The ferrets love the bubble wrap and spend ages running around 'popping' the bubbles!

Just for a change, we took May and Eric out for a walk first thing 'cos they haven't been out the last two days 'cos it was too hot for them.

That means Fred and Wendy had to stay in their cage.

Fred & Wendy getting 'poured' out of their bed!
They didn't mind staying in their cage 'cos that means they get 'First Rampage' around the house!

Old Two Legs left the camera in the car 'cos it was too warm for him to carry it around with him on our walk!

Half way through the morning the delivery man arrived and the unpacking started!

What with all the lenses and brackets rolling around the floor and the ferrets killing the bubble wrap it was just a little later than normal that Fred & Wendy, Holly and I headed off for a mid day walk.

Thanks to the clouds it wasn't too hot and Wendy got to dip her paws in the rock pool!

I just love the way the mud squishes between my claws!
I forgot to tell you, while May and Eric were rampaging around the house waiting for OTL to finish the poo shovelling, OTL decided to see if Eric wanted a swim in a plastic tray. Well, it was a little scary to begin with but soon he was sploshing about and blowing bubbles!

It was good fun to watch him when OTL wrapped him up in a towel to dry him off!

Talk about a wriggler!

We are off now to help OTL assemble the 'scope and who knows, we may even get to see some stars tonight, providing the clouds clear off!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Monday 22 May 2017

It's 'That Time' again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

It's Monday, so that means Old Two Legs has work to do!

We will be off soon to our first holiday of the year. It will be The Missus second 'cos she went off to Texas and OTL had a few days off in Scotland with his cousin Alun.

Now, that means the caravan has to get it's wash and polish and 'De Spidered!

We were out early for our walk but we didn't hang about too long. As soon as we hit the beach Holly Chops did one of her famous 'Nose Dive and Roll' in the sand!

Boom! Here comes Holly!
I don't do nose dives but I did chase after Holly as she charged off down the beach.

I'zzz coming for you!
Of course Holly is a bit slow getting going and I was on top of her with no trouble!

BOOM! It's a flying Daisy Dog!
The ferrets, Wendy and Fred had a dig in the sand then headed for the grass where it was a little cooler.

Once we got back home OTL cleared the cages in double quick time and headed off to the caravan armed with the jet cleaner, a bucket, two bottles of caravan cleaner and a big sponge!

That's where he spent the rest of the day, scrubbing and washing and blasting the sea gull poo of the caravan walls and roof!

Not only did he do the caravan he also did the little car which had even more gull poo 'cos TM had left the car parked under a tree where the sea gulls just love dive bomb!

Those sea gulls are good shots!

So, Holly and I spent the day snoozing and OTL was working, oh yes, TM was slapping the glue pot!

We have seen a 'Tracking Report', the scope is on its way!

OTL has got to wash the big car and by then the scope will have arrived, so it's Play Time!

See you all tomorrow,

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
