It's a Damp Doggy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

My, how time just flies by, you know, it's already the second of January and we have hardly noticed it!

Mind you, this morning it wasn't raining, for a change, down on the sea front this morning there were loads of woofers and poor Old Two Legs missed a wonderful sunrise but when we got down to the beach it had all gone!

It seemed that every two steps there was another Two Legs wanting to say Happy New Year and talk about the ferrets, leaving Holly and I to sit on the wet grass and wait for them to finish gassing on about Christmas and the weather!

So, no photo's this morning!

Eric and May decided that staying wrapped up and warm in OTL's arms was the best place to be, except wrapped up in a warm bed back at home that is! Mind you, they did run back from the bench on the hill all the way to the car!

Lunchtime it was raining, so we hung about for a while until we spotted a window in the showers where we reckon we could get down to the beach, have a wee and get back to the car before it started to rain again!

It didn't quite work out that way and it started to rain again half way through the walk so OTL let Freddy and Wendy climb up for a cuddle on our way back to the car.

We were going to get the camera out but in the end decided that it was (a) Too Wet and (b) there was nothing interesting to photograph!

When we got to the football field both Freddy and Wendy got down and trotted across the field. Freddy was saying his tummy was getting too wet 'cos it was rubbing on the grass and Holly suggested he either loose some weight as a New Year Resolution or learn to run on his claws instead of his paws!

Freddy said that he might just jump on Holly's back,  hang onto her harness and ride her all the way back to the car!

We got back to the car just before the rain started to come down with a vengeance!

Back home we found Auntie Jane and Uncle Ian had arrived with a Christmas Present for OTL, a bottle of Glenmorangie Single Malt!

OTL was a happy woofer!

He might open that tonight and see if it goes well with the Shortbread, it seems anything that has Malt and Whisky in the description goes well with Shortbread!

Se you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
