Sorry I've not been on the blog but we have been rather busy.
The Missus and Old Two Legs have been emptying a crafting room belonging to Bali, a lovely lady who was one of the ladies who enjoyed the crops at our local village hall.
Unfortunately, Bali died recently and charged TM to clear her crafting room and donate the proceedings to the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
So, for two days we have been loading up the big car with all the stuff and bringing it back home to be sorted and catalogued so that it can be offered for sale sometime in Spring.
Now, as you will agree, there was not a lot I could do to help so I 'got out of the way' by jumping up on the softest bed in the house and enjoyed a super snooze, well out of everyone’s way!
Well, TM ended up with an aching back, OTL already had a bad back but managed to load the car up and slot everything in place!
It's a good job we have a car with a big boot!
Now, I am used to going out for a wee and a poo at set times during the day and around lunchtime on the first day we were one our way back with the first load when OTL pulled into a place I remember when Grandma was alive 'cos I would have a wee before visiting her!
The sniffs had all changed but it was good to see the old place again.
Last night, after two round of trips we didn't get back until eight thirty and to be honest I really didn't fancy writing the blog!
Today was better, just one trip but the car was loaded with so much stuff we couldn't see out the back window!
So, now we have a lounge stacked to the ceiling with crafty gear that will have to be sorted!
OTL can just about see over the top of the pile, so he can still watch his Star Gate SG-1 DVD and that should keep him happy!
