A strange day!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss April, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It has been all rush and tear today! We were up early again, The Missus was up early again with another new idea!

Old Two Legs tried to get some extra sleep but Holly and I both gave his ear and bald head a good lick, that got him out of bed!

Down on the beach May and April were doing what they normally do, dig holes, while I sniffed around on the high tide mark, just to see if there are any strange sniffs lurking under the sea weed!

Holly was late getting onto the beach 'cos as she was finishing off a sniff on the path, who should arrive but that young Bozo called Marley!

It's my new mate Old Two Legs!
Well, we all know that OTL is Two Legs and Marley had better clear off and mind his own TL or he could end up with a telling off!

Then, just so he understood, when he got close to her, Holly gave one of the 'Gentle Warning Growls'.

It is one we save for puppies, it helps with their education. A Woofer has to learn just what is good manners and what is not!

Let that be a warning, he is OUR Two Legs!
We didn't hang about 'cos the old, little car was off to the garage for it's MOT.

OTL had been onto the garage that looks after the big car and they sent out an engineer to see if he could fix it by the road side. Poor lad had been given a load of duff information and after about three hours decided to give up and get the transporter to pick up the car and get it down to the garage, which is what OTL wanted to happen in the first place!

Then we had to pick up the little car with its brand new MOT certificate and get it home!

Holly and I decided to stay at home 'cos we had sniffed rain on the wind and didn't fancy getting wet!

Now, at the time of writing the blog we haven't heard anything about Rufus and his operation but we are keeping our claws crossed for good news. TM is supposed to get onto her Face Ache thingy and get updates but because of the running about with the cars hasn't been on yet.

That's it for us today, TM is off out this evening and we are going to sit on the sofa and chew Bonio Biscuits!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss April, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Claws Crossed for Rufus.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back again!

Have we had a good day today! We've been up the Kent County Show!

This morning first thing, we were down the beach a bit earlier than normal!

We met up with Bert who really fancies Holly rotten!

Morning! Holly!
Holly told him about going to The Show but as Bert had never been there it was a bit difficult explaining wot it was all about. In the end I told him all about the sniffs and then he seemed to get the idea!

Before Holly could get down to the beach the Ladies and young Percy came along the Sea Wall and Holly had to explain all again!

OK, anyone been to the Kent County Show? No? Right then, there is this place full of sniffs...........
While Holly was telling her tale I was keeping an eye open for any passing ships!

I spotted a Container Ship heading off to Hamburg to drop off a few containers and pick up some new ones!

Hamburg here we come!
It wasn't long before we set off for a day of sniffin some of the best sniffs in the county!

Old Two Legs didn't bring his camera so you will miss out on some of the views!

We stopped off at the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue stand where they were racing ferrets and telling everyone about the life of ferrets.

As we know all about ferrets it was rather boring, so Holly and I got into a corner and had a snooze while The Missus had a cuddle with one of the baby ferrets and asked if we could take a couple home with us!

OTL said that we didn't have the room for another 'Group', so TM showed off!

The ladies at the Allhallows Croppers held a Cardy Thong Thingy and through their efforts raised funds for Demelza House and the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue. Well, while we were there we were told about a ferret called Rufus who was handed in the the rescue a couple of days ago. He had a big lump where his tummy should be and he was rushed off to the vet who drained a lot of fluid. Then he was booked in for an operation to find out what the lump was all about. Now, this sort of treatment costs money and it was decided that the donation from the Allhallows Croppers would be used to finance the cost of his treatment!

TM will be putting pictures and a progress report on her FaceAche page so you can follow the story.

Claws crossed for Rufus!

Claws crossed for Archie Babes mum who went home with a car with a cough! Let's hope it was nothing serious! At least she got home, our car refuses to even start!

We are off for a snooze now 'cos all that walking around sniffing has made us both very tired!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.
