What a dreary old day it's been There was rain this morning followed by rain later and then to round it off, we had rain again!
The only exciting thing was we had to drop some stuff off at the carrier so that means we get to ride in the small car! We were going to use the big car but something in the controls of the small car somehow managed to send a message to Old Two Legs, on the mobile phone, telling him that the voltage had dropped on the small car and it was in need of a battery charge or a run of at least half an hour!
Now, I know cars are getting smarter but making a phone call to say 'Charge me'?
Well, the visit to the carrier and a run down to the beach topped up the battery and all is back to together again.
The forest looked very bleak and fast asleep, I mean, not a single leaf anywhere!
The RAN Rig is still in the yard having its bits updated. We see the rig from our football field so we knew it was still there but it seems that it's taking a long time to get fixed up!
Wandering around we came up with one or two sniffs we recognised but mostly it was just damp grass and mud!
Holly kept on dragging her tail 'cos she was missing out on the sniffs we would have normally found. Even the new sniffs of visitors were rather thin on the ground. Mind you, I did find a sniff from Bozo Labrador I remember but even that was a few days old and had been rather faded in the rain!
So, that's it for today. We are looking forward to some fun tomorrow, OTL has been invited to take a COVID-19 Test from home which means he will be shoving a swab down his throat an up his nose first thing tomorrow morning which means that he will be performing the procedure when he is still half asleep and knowing him, he may shove the swab in his ear!
