What A Day Today Has Been!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, late but very happy!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

What a Day!

Old Two Legs was up as soon as the alarm went off and he did his thirty minutes on the rowing machine and sort of got carried away 'cos he managed eleven hundred strokes by the time the half an hour was showing on the clock!

Then it was a quick rush around to clean the cage up before heading off to the Sea Wall.

I must say that we didn't hang about too much, you know, a quick wee and a poo, three holes dug and several sniffs before heading back to the car.

One thing that  cheered Snowflake up was the super sunrise, it made us all happy to be alive!

What a Super Sunrise!
We all headed back to the car in double quick time and Holly and I stayed away from the serious sniffs and didn't roll in anything at all, we were good girls!

Back to the car!
Back home The Missus was waiting and pretty soon we had everything loaded up ready to go!

When we got to the Harrietsham Village Hall there were people there already with cages and loads of ferrets!

The Hall
Now, I want you to take note of the thing at the bottom of the photo, the one with a dogs lead on top.

It took some time to get everything unloaded and the ferrets in their cage and on the table. We went out with The Missus for a walk and a wee in the park next to the hall while OTL got all settled in and the forms filled out with our ferrets names and what sections they were entering.

The classes available were Albino Jill (Snowflake) Judges Favourite ( Snowflake and Mr B) Sandy Hob (Mr B) Disabled Ferrets (Mr B) Then there were other contests like Cutest Face, Longest ears, Longest Legs, Fluffiest Tail and stuff like that!

After filling in all the forms OTL got a few minutes to go around and have a look at all the other ferrets and take his camera with him.

The first cage he stopped at had a pair of Hairy Tailed Woofer Ferrets!

OK, Very Funny, Now Let Us Out!
It was us! In a cage!

It seems that the people hiring out the hall didn't like the idea of animals running loose around the hall! Us? Running loose? Never!

Luckily for us Roy, who runs the Rescue Centre, had brought along the cage especially for us.

Thanks Roy!

Snowflake and Mr Brambles were getting ready and decided to have a snooze while all the Two Legs were getting themselves sorted out!

Snoozy Time!
OTL was sussing out the competition and was mightily impressed with what he saw like this one who was on a table across the isle.

Just look at those Whiskers!
On the next table there was a ferret who had seen this all before and spent most of the day being cuddled while he was stretched out on his back and having his tummy tickled!

A very Laid Back Ferret!
In the next cage to Snowflake and Mr B there was one all on his own, his name is Frank and his owners are talking about getting him a mate, a bit like our ferrets. We know he will be happy with that plan!

This is Frank, checking out the Jill's!
While he was doing that his owners were chatting to Roy about visiting the Rescue Centre to find him a mate!

Roy 'Having a Chat'!
Now, remember our cage? well, these Two Legs can be very cruel, just look at this. This terrible Two Legs, goes by the name of .........SUE.........! Stood in front of our cage, eating a big Hot Dog in a big roll and didn't even offer us a nibble!

It's more than a Puppy could Stand!
You know we tried lifting our paws up and then I even tried whimpering. Holly said she was starving and feeling faint with hunger pangs but we still didn't get a nibble, not even a sniff!

She is off our Christmas Card List for certain!

We met up with Mick and Nicky who said 'Hello' and told OTL that they always read our blog and have a good laugh at our antics!

Mick & Nicky (Lovely People!)
 Hi Mick! Hi Nicky!

Mr Brambles was getting a bit wound up and that meant he started his 'Let's Kick The Poo Pot' which went flying and the water bowl got a good kicking as well, so, as not to disturb Snowflake, OTL took Mr B out and gave him a soothing cuddle. It seemed to work and he quietened down, especially when we told him we had discovered something about his past!

A Cuddle with OTL.
OTL was chatting to Christine (Roy's better half!) asking about Mr Brambles past and it seems that he is a father of eight but his owner couldn't cope with all the family, so that is why he ended up in the Rescue Centre. The biggest surprise of the day was...............one of Mr B's sons was in the hall and OTL was taking Mr B to see him!

Hello Son, how are you doing?
There was loads of sniffing and there was a nose lick as well and it was great to see the look on Mr Brambles face. His son, called Buddy, was saying that he had a great home and was happy.

Mr B commented on the fact that Buddy was even bigger than him and was nearly as handsome!

He couldn't stop talking about him all afternoon!

Around lunch time the judging started, there were loads of classes so it was going to be a long afternoon!

Holly and I settled down and gave into doom and despondency as the ferrets were called for judging.

Long afternoon ahead Sis!
I'll tell you some more tomorrow, we are both very tired and in need of a snooze!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr (Daddy) Brambles!

Snowflake is Getting Excited!

Hello Woofers!

Us again! Daisy, Holly, Snowflake (The Good Looking One) and Mr Brambles!

What a night last night! We were rushed off our paws to get out to go baby sitting, we missed getting the blog published and I had to finish it off at one thirty this morning!

Of course, all this late night stuff and poor Old Two Legs was very late in getting up this morning. To be honest, so was I!

In fact OTL was so late he missed out on his paddle around the office on his 'Machine of Torture'!

We were also late in getting out for our walk as well and that didn't please the ferrets! Mr Brambles said it was difficult having to sit in his travelling cage with his legs crossed!

It wasn't so cold this morning and Snowflake didn't take too long to warm up and get going on the beach.

It's not so damp this morning!
Snowflake did her normal scan of the beach while Mr Brambles ran around OTL trying to get the lead wrapped around OTL's legs!

Now the sniff is this way!
Snowflake even called me over to share a sniff and for me to give an opinion of the consistency and validity of identification of a particularly rare sniff .

Well, I just happen to be the best sniffer in the house you see and I will always help out if I can!

Mmm, yes, it does have a certain edge to the top end but seems to lack any real base to build upon!
We both investigated it further and in the end decided it was just one of those Bozo Mutts that go around scent marking all over the place without paying too much attention to placement!

Oh yes! I see it's even spread all over here, no style these days and no control either!
Holly and I enjoyed a sit down on the beach while the ferrets were scampering along the 'Wall of Death' and playing on the Rocks.

It made a change to see the beach after all the early morning dogs had gone home!

Now this is peaceful at this time  of the morning!
Back home we were served up Lambs Heart, (cold), you know, we much prefer it all warm and tasty, but at least it's not Doggy Scoff, so we have to be thankful!

Snowflake is getting all wound up about the show tomorrow. She licking her paws to smooth down her fur and then she is shaking her tail so it fluffs up. Mr Brambles has been licking her ears to clear any bits of wax out. Not that there is any in there but it keeps her settled when he does the licking!

She keeps stroking her whiskers and brushing her cheeks with a little bit of Ferretone oil 'cos she says it makes her whiskers shine!

Mr B says that if he looks a bit 'Battered and Scruffy' it may add to his 'Rugged Persona' and get him more points!

With that in mind he has been working out by kicking the cushion and wrestling it all around the cage.

Then he grabs the Poo Pot and kicks that around the cage as well!

Oh! He can be so 'tough' sometimes!

OTL says he will take two cameras with him tomorrow, he's taking the Video as well as the stills camera, so that should be fun!

We got our new rain coats yesterday and dead smart we look too, the only problem we have is that we still can't find anywhere to secure the 'Daisy Cam', so it's back to the drawing board for OTL to find a way of mounting it!

We spent the morning snoozing and chatting with Snowflake and Mr B about the show and the new cage OTL got for the show. Snowflake said that she had worked out how to get out. if the top door is unlocked, and to prove it, this morning she got out, straight into OTL's arms!

She said she's working on another plan to dig a tunnel and of course Mr B is all for that idea!

The lunch time walk was rather boring, no woofers to woof at, didn't see any cats, no squirrels and all the birds were hiding in the bushes!

Dismal or Wot?
When you looked across to Sheerness it was grey and we could see some rain clouds in the distance as well!

Back home and there was a good sniff in the air. The Missus has been grinding away on some stewing steak to make 'Home Made Burgers'!

Now, judging by the sniff, it was going to be tasty!

Holly wanted to know if there was any bits left over like there is when TM makes the curry for OTL but we couldn't see any anywhere!

Never mind, we will just have to mug OTL and find out how tasty it is by eating half of his burger!

We are all going to get an early night tonight 'cos Snowflake and Mr Brambles have got to look their best tomorrow.

You know what? OTL has even trimmed his beard and made himself look all smart!

That's got to be worth a couple of points!

See you tomorrow and we will let you know how it goes, unless of course, your going to turn up and cheer us on!

Here comes the advert!

Daisy, Holly Snowflake (Star!)  and Mr Brambles (Another Winner!)

Holly's in Deep Poo, for a change!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here with you again!

This morning has been fun, well, for me anyway!

We were up early, about three thirty, and after our hourly 'House Patrol' we decided to have a snooze with Old Two Legs on his bed. I jumped up, no problems, and snuggled down next to his back, which is a good warm 'Snugly Place' to be. Holly stood down the bottom of the bed, on the floor and looked up. All she could see was darkness. Now Holly can get up on the bed but only in daylight 'cos she likes to see where she is going to land, before she jumps. To get over this 'jumping problem' she has developed a strategy, she stands at the bottom of the bed and woofs. First of all a soft 'Sorry to wake you but...' type of woof that gets louder the longer she has to wait!

In the end, OTL wakes up enough to get out of bed, walk to the bottom of the bed and pick up Miss Holly and place her on the bed so she can find her 'Snugly Place'. Holly has a favourite place and it is a race to see who gets there first, Holly or OTL!

OTL normally comes out on top 'cos he picks Holly up and pushes her over towards The Missus who is not as snugly as OTL and wriggles too much!

Still, it's better than sleeping on the floor!

The weather has not been too bad this morning, misty, a little damp but no wind. Not that it pleased Snowflake who said she would rather stay in bed than wake up on a cold wet beach!

I really don't do mornings on the beach!
Mr Brambles just loves an early morning run and gets going on his hole digging or 'Doggy Hunting' with a relish!

First a hole, then a doggy or shall I go for a Doggy first, then a hole? Decisions, Decisions!
Looking out to sea you can tell there was no wind, not a wave in sight, mind you, other than a couple of gulls there was nothing to see either!

Everything has gone!
The ferrets always decide when to finish with the beach and we follow on behind or in front just far enough to be out of reach of Mr B's 'Nipping Game'

Holly and I were sniffin' the sniffs and generally wandering about. As we got close to the car, OTL called for us to go onto the lead and as I was nearest I was first on. Holly on the other hand caught a sniff on the wind and wandered off to investigate. OTL called, Holly sniffed, OTL called, Holly found the sniff, OTL shouted, Holly did her first roll, OTL bellowed 'NO', Holly did her second roll (with wriggle), OTL bellowed again 'NOOOOO! Holly did another roll with a 'Slide and Wiggle' as well!

OTL decided to put the ferrets and me in the car and come back for Holly. Off we went and after a bit Holly came bounding along the path with a big silly grin on her face!

'Wanna Sniff?' she said, 'No thanks' said I knowing she was in trouble. You could see that 'Cos OTL didn't put her on the lead but instead told her to get into the back of the car. It was when he clipped the lead on her and fixed it to a ring so she couldn't sit on the front seats that it slowly dawned on her that all may not be as well as she would have liked!

Home we went and she soon found out what OTL can do to a Sniffy Puppy!

She got washed from the tip of her nose to the last hair of her tail and everything in between!

Twice!

Holly was not a happy puppy and afterwards climbed onto the sofa and lay down on our blanket. TM took pity on her and covered her with a fleece to keep her warm!

What did I do to deserve all that washing?
There was Lambs Heart for breakfast but it was a while before Holly ventured out from under the fleece!

By the way, we have been inundated with emails wanting to know where and what time the Ferret Show is on this Saturday. Well, Mike and Sue asked us any way!

We are pleased to tell you that it is being held at the Harrietsham Village Hall, so put ME17 1AP into your SatNav and it will take you there. Loads of parking space in the dedicated car park.

If you are showing any ferrets you can get in from 09:00hr with booking in starting at 10:30hr.

Visitors are allowed in from 11:00hr.

Judging starts at 12:00hr

The show finishes at 18:00hr

You will be pleased to know that food and soft drinks will be available for you Two Legs to buy. That way you won't have to share the ferrets kibble!

There will be a Tombola, so, loads of prizes and stuff and loads of profit for the  Harrietsham Ferret Rescue Centre!

So, that is the advertising for today, there maybe more tomorrow unless you tell me you are going to attend!

By the way, OTL has said that we are not having any more ferrets so it's no good us keep asking him!

He's no fun any more!

Lunch time came and the weather hadn't got any better, in fact the mist had really come down and you could hardly see your paw in front of your nose!

Holly said it would be a good idea if we had our new coats to wear but OTL said they would be here soon 'cos they have been posted. So that is something we are looking forward to, a warm dry chest and back!

OTL says he will be looking at fitting the 'Daisy Cam' to the front which I suppose will mean 'no swimming' while I'm wearing it!

Now, I was going to put a couple more pictures on the blog but before I had a chance we were put in the car and whisked off to do some baby sitting!

So, sorry we are late but blame it on OTL, it's his fault!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

RU A Fuzzy or a Woofer?

Yo Ho Woofers!

It's the Fuzzy-Woofer Blog from Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Did you know that the 'Ferret People' quite often refer to their ferrets as 'Fuzzie's'?

No neither did I until this morning when Holly and I were surfing the 'Ferret Pages' on Google!

That was before Old Two Legs got up out of bed!

When he did finally get up we had to scarper 'cos he wanted the office for his morning exercise on the rowing machine. You know he makes such funny noises, grunting and puffing his way around the office! We had a look at the counter after he had gone for a shower and in the thirty five minutes he was plonking away he managed twelve hundred strokes and the 'Drag Setting is on number five!

So we reckon he is doing well 'cos he always ends up with sweat dripping off his nose! YUK!

When we went out for our walk it was all misty, in fact it was so bad we could hardly see Sheerness Docks!

Well, it's over there, somewhere!
We carried on our normal fun and games, having a dig and then playing 'Chase' up and down the beach. Mr Brambles tried to ambush us, again, and failed miserably, again!

Sneaky Sneaky Brambles Creepy!
We did notice that he was getting excited 'cos when a ferret gets excited the hair on its tail stands up. We have seen it on Snowflakes tail 'cos she looks like a bottle brush!

As Mr Brambles hair is growing back on his tail, when he gets excited it stands up but it looks like an exclamation mark!

You can see that on the previous photo.

OTL took another photo of his tail, a bit closer and you can see just how fluffy it is!

Looking at his 'War Wound' we can see hair growing back on the shaved area as well!

Looking Good Mr B!
This next one shows the 'Exclamation Mark' better, even if he was moving too fast for the camera to focus properly!

Wot? It's a flying exclamation mark..........!
The ferrets enjoyed a dig in the sand but it took Snowflake a little while to get 'Warmed up' but once she was moving, she really got a 'Scamper' on and she was off over the rocks and away!

Catch me if you can!
All this happened just after a Bozo of a Greyhound came bounding down the hill thinking he could have some fun chasing the ferrets. No Way! They are our family and we always back each other up if Bozo's threaten us!
Woof Off Bozo! They're Our Ferrets!
Both Holly and I gave him the 'Warning Woof' and he ran back to his owner! You don't mess with us and think you can get away with it!

Just for a laugh, I tried the 'Rock Wall' and skipped through it with no problems but I will admit, my legs are a bit longer than a ferrets!

Easy! Easy! Easy!
Back home we had Chicken and Biscuits for breakfast which was better than the Doggy Scoff we got served yesterday. Neither Holly or I touched that stuff at all, another wasted tin, will she never learn!

We filled our tummies and headed for OTL's office where we asked for our beds to be put under the desk and then we spent the morning snoozing!

You can't beat a good snooze in the warm office especially when it's cold and damp outside!

Got it made or wot!
Lunchtime came and we both thought it a good idea to go for another wander along the Sea Wall.

OTL was watching us both and especially me, to make sure there was no 'Rolling in Sniffs' like wot I did the other day!

So I rate the walk as a bit 'Boring'!

This 'No Rolling' rule is really BORING!
We had a sniff here and we had a sniff there but they were all a bit like the weather, damp and grey and  misty!

He is still watching us!
No matter what I said, he just didn't take his eye off me! I did say that I 'Promised' not to roll but you know what?

He didn't believe me!

I'm a good girl and I promise I won't roll in anything!
Holly thought it was great fun for me to be 'In Trouble' and especially as I hadn't done anything yet!

If you believe that you'll believe anything!
Still, the car didn't sniff on the way home!

We did go into town to pick up some stuff for the office, pretty boring really!

Back home OTL was introducing the show cage to the ferrets again. Mr B still didn't get the idea, he dived into the corner poo pot and threw all the wood pellets out all over the place! Then he dug a hole into the blanket and cushion and disappeared underneath to try to dig his way out. Then, when OTL gave him and Snowflake a Ferret Treat, he crunched on it in the poo pot and then spent the next five minutes looking for the pieces!

Snowflake says that he is just dopey!

That Ferretone is Something Else!
So, not a very exciting day but at least I didn't get into trouble again, not that it wasn't for trying but OTL just didn't trust me on my own!

It was good to hear that Archie Babe managed to stay away from the vet yesterday. A day without a vet is always a good day! OTL says that he agrees with us but I think he was talking about the vets bill!

Snowflake is getting a little nervous about Saturday and the show but I must say that she is looking in really good condition. It's just claws crossed that the judge thinks so as well!

Not sure what's being cooked for muggins tonight, OTL was not happy yesterday, he had to have salad and roast potatoes, which to OTL is as bad as Doggy Scoff is to us!

He doesn't do Green Food and only likes potatoes when they are 'Chips'! He says that the only good meat is the stuff that once moo'd!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We Love OTL, when he gets the Chicken Fillets!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

No rain today, which is good news as far as we are concerned! Our morning run was uneventful, no poo to roll in!

Mind you, the ferrets came up with a really good sniff on the beach!

Now this sniff is worth telling the dogs about!
We congratulated them on finding it even though I'm sure Holly or I would have found it in time!

Mr Brambles wanted to play 'Rock Climbing' again. He is getting much better at wiggling his way through the rocks, it shows his hips are much better than when he first arrived at our house!

Yeah! Call me Rocky!
There was one point when he thought he heard a woofer or a hawk squawking. You see, ferrets have to be careful of birds of prey swooping down on them, that is why they always run close to the long grass, just so they can dive into the undergrowth if there is danger near!

Wot Was That?
Holly said that if any woofers got close she would see them off. Mr Brambles said 'Thanks' but you could see he was still looking about, just in case!

Don't worry, we'll look after you!
Back home the ferrets had a super game with Old Two Legs while he cleaned their living quarters, Mr Brambles even did a race around his cage then out the door and race around the office ending up in the cardboard boxes!

OTL thought it was very funny, especially when Snowflake kept jumping out on top of Mr B shouting that she was a 'Hawk'!

Late morning we were off with OTL to do some deliveries and he said he had some shopping to do, in the Doggy Shop!

Now, we all know what else there is in the Doggy Shop don't we?

There are Lunchtime Rabbits and Chews and Chicken Fillets and Super Sniffs and, well, the list goes on for ever!

First of all we dragged OTL to the 'Chicken Fillet' shelf and he put all of the packs, six in all, into his basket, then a couple of Chicken and Rice chews!

Then he went off to the 'Small Animal' section and got a couple of very small stainless steel bowls for the ferrets morning milk and a new water bottle that you hang on the cage.

The water bottle is for the 'Show Cage' so they won't get thirsty this Saturday at The Harrietsham Ferret Rescue Show, which is being held in the Village Hall, in Harrietsham.

We are keeping our claws crossed for Snowflake winning the Albino section but we need to see the others before shouting too loudly. Mind you, Snowflake looks is super condition, she has put on a bit of 'Fat' for Winter and her coat is looking super. All her claws are looking the right shape and size and her whiskers are all there, no broken ones and they are the same size on each side of her face!

OTL has made sure her ears are good and clean 'cos he cleaned out the waxy bits a few months ago and they have remained good and clean since.

Mr Brambles says that he is not too sure about him winning anything 'cos he still has the shaved area where his 'War Wound' is and he is not as fat as Snowflake, but, he is bright eyed and now his hair is growing back, he is on his way to being Bushy Tailed as well!

Next year Mr Brambles reckons he will be in 'Show Condition' and ready to see of all comers!

So, the honour of this house rests with Snowflake this year, claws crossed.

OTL did say that if he could find a Ferret Mask, he would put that on and enter the 'Pole Cat' section but we reckon they may spot he hasn't got a tail and disqualify him!

When we came out of the Doggy Shop, OTL opened up a bag of the Chicken Fillets and Holly and I had a chew while OTL drove off down the road.

It wasn't long before we could sniff some old, familiar sniffs, yes, we definitely knew the sniff!

Up we both jumped and had a look out of the window, it was The New Park!

That was great! We hadn't been there for a little while so we sniffed our way all around. OTL saw that they had almost finished the cafe and Two Legs toilets, we reckon that should be open before Springtime. Of course, a cafe means drinks for the two legs and food for us!

Roll on Springtime! Do you think they will sell Chicken Fillets, just for us doggies?

OTL has just told me he wants his computer back so I'll say bye bye for now.

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake (A Show Winner) and Mr Brambles

Monday 25 November 2013

A Tyre'ing Day for OTL!

Hello Woofers!

It's Us, The Gang, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Just for a change, the sun has come out and the wind has dropped a bit and it is not so cold!

We were out good and early for our morning stroll along the Sea Wall. It was a good job we weren't rushed 'cos while Old Two Legs was striding off with the ferrets in his arms, I found this  really smelly pile and had a roll in it!

OTL didn't spot it until we had got back in the car and a I wanted a cuddle before he set off for home.

I didn't get a cuddle and was banned to the back of the car!

But I get ahead of myself.

Down on the beach the ferrets had their normal trick of trying to creep up on us, without any success!

I can hear the shells crunching!
These ferrets have no idea of 'Silent Creeping'!

Mr B tried a charge down the rock face but Holly had spotted him when he slipped and banged his claw and gave out a cry!

I can Seeee You!
In the end they gave up and went off Sniffing the Sniffs!

Oh Yuk! This sniffs like Cat!
On the way back down to the car, I had that 'Roll' while OTL wasn't looking, but when Mr B tried to rush up and nip me, he got as far as my leg and shouted 'Phew! You Honk!'

Well, I had to have a wash when I got home but it did keep Mr B away for a while!

OTL had got a screw buried in his tyre, the big car, and it was too close to the edge to be repaired, so that means he has to have a new tyre. It's not really that simple 'cos he wants the same tyre with chunky tread 'cos he is going to visit Scotland again to try for some more 'Snow & Mountains' photography and needs good tyres if there is a lot of snow, especially if it's on the ground and the roads!

Well, to cut a long tale short, he decided that it would be the safe thing to do is to replace all four tyres!

I do hate it when he cries like that, it's almost as bad as when he gets the vet bill!

So, the tyres were ordered this morning and were delivered this afternoon and down he went to get them fitted. We decided that we would stay at home 'cos those tyre places are not for doggies and they are mucky as well!

Well, I wouldn't want to get grubby after getting all clean and smelling sweet!

Going back again, on our lunch time walk I found the pile of smelly again, and I had a roll, a really good roll, it was all over my back!

OTL didn't spot me doing the roll and only noticed it right at the end of the walk, I was called a 'Smelly Nelly' and banned to the back of the car again!

It was a bigger wash this time 'cos it had really managed to spread all over my back!

I was wet all over by the time OTL had finished the wash!

Who knows, maybe next time Holly can join me as well!

See you tomorrow, dinners on the table and while OTL's still crying we may get some of his dinner!

Luv,

Daisy, (Smelly Nelly), Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles

Sunday 24 November 2013

Sunday and it's Raining, again!

Hi Woofers!

We're back, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

We are glad to hear Archie Babe is back and all in one piece! Not too sure about collecting wee, I mean, a sniff is normally all we need but why the Two Legs want bucket full is beyond us!

Lets face it, all they need to do is get a bowl, take you to a lamp post and wait, just how difficult can that be?

We have never been asked for 'Samples' so we are not sure just how much fun you could have!

We were out this morning for our walk and it was raining, you know, that misty, penetrating stuff that gets right through your coat!

We all got a good rub down when we got back to the car, except OTL, 'cos the towel was too wet for him to use on himself!

The ferrets were crafty, they stayed tucked up in Old Two Legs arm until we got to the beach, so they were still dry as they started to dig holes in the sand, lucky ferrets!

Holly and I found a really strange sniff in a bunch of sea weed on the beach, we couldn't make up our mind what it was and in the end decided it must have been a sea monster who had a wee on the bush in the sea and it got washed up on the beach!

A Really Strange Sniff!
The ferrets, having finished all their hole digging, decided that a bit of rock climbing would be fun. Holly asked what would happen when the snow and ice came, and, quick as a flash Mr Brambles said.............

'Ice Axe and Crampons'!
Now, that is something I'd like to see!

We don't like the sound of an apple stuck in our mouths, Jasper must have been very brave to put up with that! I suppose that is one of the problems with us Four Legs, we can bite and chew with our jaws but not 'Grind' from side to side!

Still, that's what Two Legs are for, they get us out of scrapes like that!

We all had a good snooze this morning and OTL was playing about on his computer thingy.

A really 'Laid Back' Sunday morning!

Lunch time we wandered back down to the Sea Wall and had some Super Sniffs that we told the ferrets about when we got back. It made them all jealous!

Another Super Sniff!
Back home I decided to have a snooze under OTL's Work Space, next to the Dustbin and the Shredding Machine!

It's warm and it's not draughty!
OTL was putting the finishing touches to the ferrets 'Show Cage' and he put Snowflake in to do some investigating!
OK, this is for Poo'ing and Wee'ing!
Then she had a 'Ferret' around under the cushion and then spent some time deciding where she wanted the water bottle and the feeding container!

She is so fussy!
I think it may just go here!
So, after all that we settled down for the F1 Racing!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles
