Yo Ho Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
Well, not the best of days, we went out this morning into a force eight gale, well it might as well be a force eight cos Old Two Legs was forever wiping his eyes!
It doesn't worry us woofer too much 'cos we spend most of our time with our noses in the grass looking for sniffs and the hair around our eyes keeps the wind out!
Young Eric looks to be back to rude health now. The medicine has now finished and he is bouncing around the house!
To help get the medicine down his throat we have ended up mixing it with a convalescence powder and some Lactose Free Milk. Miss Snowflake and Miss May loved this mixture and it was a good way of getting them to take their medicine.
In an attempt to not waste anything and give Eric something he loves, we will be finishing the powder off, mixed with the milk.
This morning OTL mixed up a small bowl full and as soon as it was put down Eric was straight in, slurp, slurp, slurp!
Miss Wendy saw what he was doing and charged over to the bowl and poked her nose in, shoving Eric out of the way.
Wendy loves this stuff!
Eric, not wanting to miss out, sort of slid back into the bowl, at an angle, licking at the mixture in double quick time!
The pair soon made short work of the mixture and before you could say 'Ferret', the bowl was licked clean!
Lunchtime we were out again and the wind was blowing just as hard, OTL even took his glasses off and we had to guide him along the footpath!
He wanted to take a picture of the Two Trees so we walked him past and told him that the Poo Bin and Bench had gone!
Loads of wind but no fish!
Once we were over the hill and out of the wind OTL put his hood down. We spotted Fred brushing up all the weeds that were chopped down when the mower went over them. OTL says he would rather have weeds 'cos then the insects have something to feed on, let's face it, grass is only good for sheep and cattle plus the odd horse!
