Finished the rocks!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another wonderful day with some glorious sun shine. Eric and May had a great time sniffing in the undergrowth and under the tufts of grass!

After the morning walk we headed home and guess wot I saw?

A CAT!

We hadn't even got out of the car park and there it was, sitting in the middle of the road, licking his tail and paying no notice to us!

Well, I wasn't having any of that and as Old Two Leg stopped the car I let go with a low down grumbly growl which is a prelude to some serious woofing!

Wot a Cheek!
This cat just sat there, I mean, does he think he owns the place?

OTL had the answer though, we crept forward a couple of feet so we was almost on top of the cat and then, just as the cat stuck his leg in the air another couple of inches OTL hit the hooter and

                                                            POW!

That cat went vertical from a seated position and we were sure he went sideways at the same time!

That got him sorted!

Lunchtime we left Freddy and Wendy asleep ''cos it was a little too warm for them to come out.

When we got to the car park Holly spotted some Two Legs munching away and thought she might just get a nibble or two!

Poor Holly, they took no notice of her and carried on stuffing their faces!

Not fair, it's just not fair!
The local council have cut the grass very short this year and as such we have not seen much of the insects that we used to see. The swallows and butterflies and bugs seem to have disappeared this yer. So, it was exciting seeing a small butterfly on the clover. OTL tried to focus up on it but it kept on flying away every time he got close!

Dunno what it is but it's the size of a 5p piece!
Not having the ferrets means we can have a sniff without worrying about getting a nip on the tail!

Mind you, there is a sort of excitement of not knowing if you are going to get a ferret diving between your paws!

I keep looking around expecting one of those ferrets to jump out!

OTL went down to the gardening centre and got another eight bags of pebbles and has been spreading them about and I must admit, it looks rather good!

Another plan is to get a big urn and plant it in the middle of it all!

When he gets it all finished I'll take a photo of it to let you see what he has done!

Today OTL got an order that requires some engineering so we reckon that for the next two or three days he is going to be a busy little OTL!

I suppose that means Holly and I will be looking forward to some extra snoozing!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
